Comments: I'd originally completed
Windcharger several years ago (project #128), until I realized that the car
I'd used would actually make a better
Tailgate (the two toys are nearly identical,
of course, but Tailgate's animation model is drawn with significantly more
pronounced wheels). So, I took a smaller, less obviously-toyetic car
and turned it into Windcharger. I even made some minor cosmetic changes,
adding new headlights along with a roof bar to reflect the fact that
the people who designed his animation model were working from a toy that
wasn't completely transformed.
Windcharger is also somewhat iconic here at the ZMFTS because that's a drawing
of him on the kitbashing button down there. |
