Comments: Skids is among the most
obscure characters from the original Transformers cartoon. He only
appeared in two episodes, was never referred to any of the other characters
by name, and really didn't do anything except get his knee fixed by Hoist
and get smashed into road pizza by Blitzwing. (He was so utterly
forgettable that the second time he showed up, they cast a different voice
actor for him because they forgot what he sounded like the first time.)
I would be remiss if I didn't mention here that
Skids did enjoy a career of considerably greater reknown in Marvel Comics,
in which he threw Ravage into a mine shaft and got a car wash by a scantily-clad,
soap-covered girl named Charlene. |
