Comments: The cement mixer I'd picked
out for Quickmix only had four wheels instead of six. As luck would
have it, the truck I'd bought to paint into
Pipes had six wheels instead of the four
I'd wanted, so all I had to do was chop both trucks in half and attach their
butt-ends to each other with super glue. (This is something I never
would have been able to do without my trusty rotary tool. It cuts through
die-cast metal rather nicely.) I also added the robot feet to the top
of the cab and attached some new headlights. His Targetmaster guns
were made from the fists of a G1 Silverbolt knockoff.
As an aside, I find it interesting that, according to Quickmix's character
profile, he has to constantly keep rotating his mixing drum or the chemicals
inside it could explode. Given that his Nebulan partners attach
to his mixing drum when they're in their weapons modes, that must make for
one heck of a dizzy ride. |
