Comments: The original Transformers
toy line significantly diverted from realistic vehicle modes after the first
couple of years. Most of the characters who were created after The
Transformers: the Movie were futuristic vehicle designs created by Hasbro
that didn't correspond to anything in real life. This means that I
don't get to do many characters who were released as toys after 1985, just
because they turn into crazy rocket cars and battle tanks and things.
Nightbeat is one of the rare exceptions. (Which is fine by me,
because he's a really neat character in the Marvel comic books.)
