FIRST APPEARANCE: "MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE" PART 1
"Man, if I could put on a light show that cool,
I'd dazzle multitudes of music-lovers!"
Comments: This particular die-cast
car may have inadvertantly spawned this whole painting business. I
found this car at Toys "R" Us many years ago, and I was astounded at how
much it resembled Jazz, right down to the numeral 4 and the colors of the
racing stripes. (The actual car was silver, but I took care of that
later.) Were there more toy cars out there that looked like Transformers,
I wondered? (Ah, if I only knew!)
The second car (project #190) is a Hot Wheels
toy that I painted up for ViceGripX. I had originally decorated him
in cartoon colors, but the original labels eventually fell off so ViceGrip
replace them with custom stickers that Delta Star originally came up with
as part of a Robots in Disguise Spychangers Hotshot-to-Jazz conversion
kit. |
