FIRST APPEARANCE: "MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE" PART 1

"We must have courage, Huffer. We can't ignore the danger...we must
conquer it!"
Comments: This project ended up being
a major undertaking. I couldn't find a base vehicle that even vaguely
resembled Huffer, so I realized I was going to have to build one. I
used a cement mixer that was originally a candidate for Mixmaster, chopping
off the mixing drum and building some new parts out of various materials
(the smokestacks are made from a G2 Dreadwing missile; the tips of the stacks
are the heel struts from a Beast Wars Sea Clamp toy; the horns or
fog lights or whatever those are were made from a LEGO scuba diver tank;
the tail end of the vehicle was build using the middle foot of an R2-D2 toy).
I even cut up some of his die-cast parts, something that's very difficult
to do with an X-Acto knife, and I even drilled a hole into the back of the
truck so that he can pull the die-cast Optimus Prime's trailer.
The only reason I put so much work into this project,
I think, was so that I could finish off the Mini Autobots. (I don't
even like Huffer than much, for crying out loud.) |
