Comments: Hot Rod was actually the
first of these die-cast projects to which I made any kind of extensive
modifications. The engine was a leftover piece from
Sunstreaker, and the exhaust pipes
are from the parts tree to a model kit. The flame decal and spoiler
are sheet plastic that were painted and glued in place. (For a long
time I wasn't really pleased with his original paint job. You can't
really mix up a color like hot pink at home.) |
