The Foot Clan's Bad-to-the-Bone Attack Vehicle!

Comments:  As near as I can figure, the Foot Cruiser toy was based on the Star Cruiser vehicle driven by the alien Neutrino kids from the TMNT episode "Hot Rodding Teenagers from Dimension X."  There was even a later episode, "Pizza by the Shred," in which the Foot Clan steals the Star Cruiser (called the Starmobile in that episode) near the end of the last act.  You'd think this would have made the ideal set-up for its conversion into the Foot Cruiser (and I'm sure the episode was written with exactly that  scenario in mind), but the vehicle never appeared in future episodes.  Somebody forgot about it, I guess.  (Wouldn't be the first time something like that happened.  How many times in a row did Donatello invent the Retro-Catapult, exactly?)

Anyway, I spotted this little car in the store one day and I knew it would make a great Foot Cruiser.  I had to cut the metal roof of the car off, which was every bit as difficult as you might expect using a hobby knife.  (Maybe one day I'll go back and add the red nozzles on the front bumper and the chrome wings on either side, but for now, this is as good as it gets.)

I did buy two more of these to turn into the two Star Cruisers driven by the Neutrinos in "Hot Rodding Teenagers from Dimension X," but they'll require slightly more extensive modifications.  I'm sure I'll get around to finishing them some day.
