Comments: I've been wanting to do
a scale version of Cliffjumper for a while, but I had a tough time tracking
down the right vehicle. (I'd actually finished an
early version [project #55] a while
ago, but it was just a normally-proportioned car with a spoiler that I'd
glued in place.) I finally ended up using a Penny Racers toy,
which is kind of ironic since that's exactly what the Cliffjumper toy was
based on. All it really needed was the addition of a spoiler. (I
even stuck a Cliffjumper reproduction label on the back of the Penny Racer.
It was a perfect fit.) |
