BUMBLEBEE (DIE-CAST)

PROJECT #345
CLASSIFICATION:
REPAINT
BASE VEHICLE: VOLKSWAGEN BEETLE KEYCHAIN TOY
FIRST APPEARANCE: "MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE" PART 1

"We'll slip that bomb right under their nose gears!"

Comments:  The reason the original Bumblebee toy isn't shaped like a real Volkswagen is because the toy was based on a super-deformed Penny Racers pull-back toy (which is why Bumblebee has a plate on the back of his head; this was where you put the penny in the car to make it do wheelies).  The car I used here has a pull-back motor, making it pretty much my only die-cast project that can travel under its own power.

This is the second version of Bumblebee I've done.  The first one (project #45) was based on a regular-shaped Volkswagen, so it isn't quite as authentic.

Why didn't Spider-Man team up with Bumblebee instead of Gears?
I mean, really.  Think about it.
