Comments: This project isn't die-cast
at all, but I display him with the others (and he's more or less to scale,
if you go by episodes like "Quest for Survival"). One of my earliest
projects, I was never really satisfied with this toy as a form for Blaster
so I recently went back and reconstructed it to make it more accurate.
(Here's an old, grainy picture of the
original version, project #67.) The
thing is actually hollow; I glued a large construction nail to the inside
bottom to give it some weight and keep the thing from tipping
over. This time, I also included an opening cassette deck (made
from leftover pieces I used to build
Soundwave), so he can hold one of the
Autobot cassettes once I finish building them. |
