fanfic writer on Zeth's Pokémon Library, he gave me this cool idea for this chapter since I have writers block.</B></div> <bR> <bR> <div> "Professor," Karl said talking into his Pokégear's wrist phone, "how's Skarmory doing?"</div> <div> "Just fine," Professor Albert said, "other than the fact that he and Mankey are trashing the whole lab," Karl smiled, "and don't smile its not funny!"</div> <div> "How-never mind," Karl said, "I was just wondering if you would take a unscheduled visit to my home and check on Pikachu for me, he is tired of me calling him all the time."</div> <div> "Don't worry I will make sure," he doesn't know the professor said, "Oh and by the way what island are you on?"</div> <div> "We are on Stadform Island, a couple of miles away from some place called Fallaway Ruins," Karl said.</div> <div> "Ah," the professor said, "an apprentice of mine Dr. Jupiter is at those Ruins right now."</div> <div> "What are so special about those ruins?" Tonya asked, "my parents never told me anything about them."</div> <div> "Well I don't know exactly cause my last email from her was very vague," Professor Albert said, "Since you're heading that way could you check it out."</div> <div> "Yeah sure Professor it might be interesting," Karl said.</div> <div> "Oh bye the way I was looking at your info its says here that today is your birthday," the professor said, "Happy Birthday."</div> <div> "Thanks," Karl said smiling, "will got to go professor," Karl said hanging up the phone, he turned around to tell Tonya something but she wasn't there, "Tonya?"</div> <div> "Behind you birthday boy," she said, Karl turned around and Tonya punched him in the arm as hard as she could.  Karl was caught off guard and fell down, she then started punching him in the arm some more, "11, 12, 13, 14, 15," she said counting.</div> <div> "AHH I'M ONLY 13!" Karl yelled.</div> <div> "So," she said punching him 5 more times, "I'm not going to be there for every birthday, got to cover those," she then stood up and laughed at Karl.</div> <div> "Ahh," Karl said shaking his arm, he pulled up his sleeve to reveal a huge bruise, which made Tonya laugh even more.</div> <div> "Lets…just…go," Karl said rubbing the bruise and wincing.</div> <div> After about 20 minutes of uneventful walking, Karl and Tonya finally reached over a huge hill, at the bottom far off they could see a small group of 3 people, each with a shovel they were digging together making a huge hole.</div> <div> "I think we found the site," Tonya said.</div> <div> "Yeah and it doesn't seem to be a big group either," Karl said, "Let's go check it out."</div> <div> As they started to reach the site, Tonya heard a static kind of sound coming from Karl, "Karl you hear that?"</div> <div> "Huh?" Karl looked at his Pokégear, the screen was completely blank, "what the?"</div> <div> "That's weird," Tonya said.</div> <div> "Actually it isn't," a female said walking up to them.</div> <div> "Oh hi," Karl said, "I'm Karl and this is Tonya she follows me around."</div> <div> "I do not!" Tonya said.</div> <div> "Oh hi I'm Dr. Felicia Jupiter," she said holding out her hand.</div> <div> "You're Dr. Jupiter!" Karl said completely surprised.</div> <div> "Yeah I get that a lot," she said, "everyone expects someone a lot older," Dr. Jupiter said, "Being only 16 and all."</div> <div> "You must be some type of genius," Tonya said.</div> <div> "That's what everyone says, but I feel like any other 16 year old," she said.</div> <div> "Well why isn't my Pokégear working?" Karl asked.</div> <div> "I don't know," she said, "but for some reason no electronics seem to work in this area."</div> <div> "Professor Albert didn't mention anything about that," Karl said.</div> <div> "You know Professor Albert?" Dr. Jupiter asked.</div> <div> "Yeah," Karl said, "he told us about you and that you were around here looking for something."</div> <div> "Yes," Dr. Jupiter said.</div> <div> "Doctor," one of her assistants yelled.</div> <div> "Yes," she said turning to them.</div> <div> "We found the entrance," he said.</div> <div> "I'm coming," she said back, "you two wanna tag along?" she asked.</div> <div> "Sure," Karl said following her.</div> <div> "Hey wait for me," Tonya said running to catch up.</div> <div> "Look," the assistant said pointing to a small door, it had some inscriptions and pictures on it.</div> <div> "Wonder what it says," Tonya said.</div> <div> "We still haven't been able to figure out the language used here," Dr. Jupiter said.</div> <div> "But if she is correct we could be close to the very first TM," the assistant said.</div> <div> "TM?" Karl asked.</div> <div> "Technical Machine," Tonya said, "it is used to teach moves to a Pokémon, but I don't think they would have the technical knowledge back then to make a TM."</div> <div> "That is what a lot of the scientist around here think," Dr. Jupiter said, "but I think that there was a TM, but not the type that they have today."</div> <div> "That's pretty interesting," Karl said.</div> <div> "Now all we need is to remove this stone door," Dr. Jupiter said, "I don't want to blow it up."</div> <div> "Don't worry," Tonya said taking out a Pokéball and throwing it.  Her Nidoking appeared out of its Pokéball.</div> <div> "Hey Nidoking," she said, "we need you to remove this stone door, but could you be extremely careful?"</div> <div> "Nido," the Pokémon said shaking its head yes, it then grabbed the outside of the door and started to pull very slowly.</div> <div> "That's a strong Pokémon you have their Tonya," Dr. Jupiter said looking at the Pokémon.</div> <div> "Yeah I trained it pretty well," Tonya, said, "I even beat Karl's Pokémon with it."</div> <div> "NO you didn't!" Karl retaliated, "it was a tie as I remember."</div> <div> "Yeah, but if we every versus each other again I will win in a landslide," she said.</div> <div> "No-"</div> <div> "Look," the assistant said as Nidoking lifted to door above its head and slowly set it down.</div> <div> "Good job Nidoking return," she recalled the Pokémon to its Pokéball.</div> <div> "Okay," the assistant said tying a rope around a nearby tree, the then threw the excess into the hole.</div> <div> After each of them had climbed down into the hole, one of the other assistants took out a flashlight and turned it on, it flickered for a second before going out.</div> <div> "Huh?" he said looking at the flashlight.</div> <div> "Loki," a female assistant said taking the flashlight, "did you replace the batteries?"</div> <div> "I forgot to Saki," he said.</div> <div> "Loki what's wrong with you!" the last assistant said.</div> <div> "Geez, sorry Pat," he said.</div> <div> "Don't worry," Karl said taking out a Pokéball and throwing it.</div> <div> "Charmander," the Pokémon said appearing out of its Pokéball.</div> <div> The flame light at the end of its tail light up the cavern, "Thanks Charmander," Karl said.</div> <div> After a quick look around they found the only opening passage.</div> <div> "Seems to be only one path," Dr. Jupiter said.</div> <div> "Lets go," Karl, said leading the group, the passage had inscriptions all along the wall as they walked through; Loki took pictures with a camera.</div> <div> "Come on Charmander," Karl said stopping and picking the Pokémon up and placing it on his head.</div> <div> "Charmander," the Pokémon said.</div> <div> "I'm sorry buddy but the translator doesn't work around this area for some reason," Karl said showing him the watch.  As he did that he stepped on a tile that moved down, "Huh?" Karl said.</div> <div> "Oh no," Dr. Jupiter said as the walls started to close in.</div> <div> "Ahh," Loki, Saki and Pat yelled at the same time.</div> <div> "What the!" Tonya yelled.</div> <div> "Quick run!" Dr. Jupiter said running back the way the came.  Everyone followed right behind her.</div> <div> "Run…faster!" Karl yelled, as the wall got even closer.</div> <div> "Running…as…fast…as…I…can," Dr. Jupiter yelled.</div> <div> "RUN FASTTTTTTTTTTTTTEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!" Tonya yelled as she fell down a hole, everyone else fell also.</div> <div> "Ahhhhhh!" Everyone yelled as they slide down a long incline, when the finally hit the bottom it was in a huge sand mound.</div> <div> "Ouch," Dr. Jupiter said getting up, "is everyone okay?" she asked.</div> <div> "I got sand in places I didn't even know I had," Karl said shaking the sand out of his hair, "Hey Charmander where are you?" Karl asked, he dug in the sand looking for his Pokémon; he came across a pair of legs and a tail floating in the air, "Gahh, Charmander!" Karl said grabbing the Pokémon's leg and pull out the Pokémon, "you okay buddy?"</div> <div> "Char," the Pokémon said shaking its head as sand flew everywhere.</div> <div> "Karl," Tonya said.</div> <div> "Yes?"</div> <div> "COULD YOU GET OFF ME?" Tonya yelled.</div> <div> "Opps," Karl said as he rolled off Tonya.</div> <div> "Loki, Saki, Pat where are you guys?" Dr. Jupiter asked.</div> <div> "Down here!" they heard a voice down a nearby passage.</div> <div> "You wont believe what we found," another voice said.</div> <div> Karl and the others quickly got up and made their way down the passage, when they emerged on the other side a huge mound of gold and jewels were in the room.</div> <div> "Whoa," Tonya said.</div> <div> "Wow," Karl said, "I didn't know there was gold in here."</div> <div> "This is new," Dr. Jupiter said looking at the huge mound.</div> <div> "Hey doc!" Saki's voice said.</div> <div> "Huh?" she said turning around, a whip flew and wrapped around Dr. Jupiter, "What is the meaning of this?!" she demanded.</div> <div> "Nothing," Loki's voice said behind Tonya and Karl, they turned around to find themselves wrapped in whips.</div> <div> "For a genius you sure are so gullible doc," Pat said sliding down the mound of treasure.</div> <div> "Who are you guys?" Karl asked.</div> <div> "Were Team Delta," Loki said.</div> <div> "We tricked the doc here into thinking we were archeologist," Saki said.</div> <div> "In hopes she would lead us to this gold," Loki said.</div> <div> "We didn't count on catching ourselves Karl Rennie, the thorn in the side of both Team Delta and Team Rocket," Pat said.</div> <div> "I've heard enough!" Karl yelled, "Charmander attack them!"</div> <div> The fire Pokémon leaped in front of its trainer, "forgot about that one," Pat said.</div> <div> "Don't worry," Loki said.</div> <div> "We will handle it," Saki said, they both took out a Pokéball and threw it.</div> <div> "Nidorina!" Saki yelled.</div> <div> "Nidorino," Loki yelled, "use Tackle!" they both said.</div> <div> Both Pokémon dived at Charmander; Charmander quickly jumped out of the way and used Flamethrower hitting Nidorino.</div> <div> "Nidorina Take Down!" Saki yelled.</div> <div> Her Pokémon bounded towards Charmander and hit the Pokémon straight into the air.</div> <div> "Poison Sting Nidorino!"</div> <div> The Pokémon obeyed and opened its mouth shooting out the needles at Charmander hitting the Pokémon in the back.</div> <div> "Charmander quick use Dragon Rage!" Karl yelled.</div> <div> "Char!" the Pokémon said slowly standing up, it opened its mouth and let out the blue flame hitting Nidorina, the Pokémon flew back hitting the mound of gold.</div> <div> "Watch out behind you," Karl yelled, but it was too late as Nidorino hit Charmander with a Horn Attack in the back, the Pokémon flew over.</div> <div> "Stupid lizard," Pat said walking up to the Pokémon and kicking it as it tried to get up, Charmander flew up into the air and Nidorino blasted it with another shower of poison sting.  Charmander flew to the ground.</div> <div> "Oh no," Tonya said.</div> <div> "Stop," Karl said, "I give up."</div> <div> "Stop?" Pat said, "You are in no position to demand anything!" he said this as he walked up to Charmander he picked up the Pokémon and threw it as hard as he could down a nearby passage.</div> <div> "CHARMANDER!" Karl yelled.</div> <div> "Pat, you'll pay for that!" Dr. Jupiter yelled.</div> <div> "Oh don't worry we can afford it," Pat said pointing to the gold, "tie them up somewhere!" he ordered Saki and Loki.</div> <div> "With pleasure," Loki said, as he pushed Karl and them along.</div> <div>  </div> <div> Charmander landed hard in the passage, {can't let them} he said trying to stand up to no avail, {Karl I have failed you} Charmander said with a tear in his eye.</div> <bR> <div> "Okay here the rules," Pat said, "One if you try to escape you're Pokémon will get it.  Two if you carry out this gold then <I>maybe </I>I will let you go got it."</div> <div> Loki and Saki had used ankle locks and handcuff on Karl and the others; they also took all there Pokéballs.</div> <div> "Never!" Dr. Jupiter said.</div> <div> "You losers wait till I get my hands on you!" Tonya yelled.</div> <div> "You will pay for what you did to Charmander!" Karl yelled.</div> <div> "Loki," Pat said.</div> <div> Loki took the whip and put it around Tonya's neck and started choking her.</div> <div> "Do what I say or she's not going to wake up," Pat said.</div> <div> "Don't…listen…ACK!" Tonya forced out slowly.</div> <div> "Fine!" Karl said.</div> <bR> <div> Charmander used the wall for leverage as he slowly stood up, {Now to go back in there and save Karl!} the Pokémon said as it tried to walk, it yelled out in pain as it fell to the ground, {DARN} he yelled slamming his hand on the ground, one of the tiles moved, {Uh oh} he said bracing for some type of trap.  A huge scroll fell on top of his head, {Ow} the Pokémon said pushing the scroll off his head, {What's this} the Pokémon opened the scroll and started to read it, {The Lost TM!} he exclaimed.</div> <bR> <div> Loki and Saki had found a cart completely made of solid gold; they were making Karl, Dr. Jupiter and Tonya load it with huge pieces of gold.</div> <div> "Come on you weaklings," Loki said using his whip and whipping Karl.</div> <div> "Gahh," Karl said dropping his piece of gold.</div> <div> "Pick it up," Saki whipped him again, Karl yelped in pain then picked up the gold, he murmured something under his breath.</div> <div> Pat let out a laugh, "I love doing evil things," he said, he walked up to Tonya who had just finished putting a piece of gold in the cart.  As she turned around he grabbed her and gave her a forced kiss.  Tonya pushed him away then spit on his face.</div> <div> "Nasty," he said as he smacked her across the face.</div> <div> "CHARMANDER!" Charmander said walking into the room, he was still pretty beat up but at least he could stand, he had said leave her alone.</div> <div> "Charmander you are okay!" Karl said waddling towards his Pokémon, a whip cracked right in front of Karl as he stopped.</div> <div> "Look at that Pokémon it's got no fight left," Loki said.</div> <div> "Let me handle this myself," Saki said taking out a Pokéball and throwing it; her Nidorina appeared out of its ball ready for round two.</div> <div> "Take out that weakling with a Double Kick!" she yelled.</div> <div> The Pokémon started to run towards Charmander until the Pokémon let out the loudest roar ever, startling the Pokémon and making it stop right in its track.</div> <div> "Charmander?" Karl said surprise.</div> <div> "Char," the Pokémon said before being surrounded in a bright light.</div> <div> "It's…" Tonya said.</div> <div> "Evolving…" Dr. Jupiter said.</div> <div> When the light finally died down the Charmander wasn't Charmander anymore, he was an evolved Charmeleon with restored energy.</div> <div> "What are you waiting for attack it!" Pat yelled.</div> <div> "Right Nidorina attack with Horn Attack!" Saki yelled.</div> <div> The Pokémon ran towards Charmeleon who quickly turned around and whacked Nidorina right in the face sending the Pokémon flying and crashing into the gold, it didn't move.</div> <div> "Return," Saki said calling her back to its Pokéball.</div> <div> Karl just stood there in awe.</div> <div> "Loki!" Pat said a little bit nervous.</div> <div> Go Nidorino!" Loki yelled throwing its Pokéball.</div> <div> "Nido," the Pokémon said.</div> <div> "Thunder!" Loki yelled.</div> <div> The Pokémon charged up its attack then released it at Charmeleon, Charmeleon took the full front of the attack; the Pokémon flew down.</div> <div> "Yes," Loki yelled.</div> <div> "Meleon!" the Pokémon said quickly standing up and releasing a Flamethrower attack.</div> <div> "Dodge it and use Double Kick!" Loki yelled.</div> <div> His Pokémon easily bounded out of the way of the Flamethrower and ran towards Charmeleon to go for a Double Kick.  Charmeleon swung its tail around to hit the Pokémon the same way it had hit Nidorina, but Nidorina dodged the tail and unleashed it kicks hitting Charmeleon in the face.  When the Pokémon went to run away from Charmeleon that is when the Pokémon struck with a Slash attack to the back.</div> <div> "Nidorino get up!" Loki yelled, the Pokémon slowly stood up, "go for a Poison Sting attack!" he yelled.</div> <div> "Charmeleon look out!" Karl yelled.</div> <div> The Pokémon turned around, as the needles were about to hit it and let out a huge Flamethrower burning both the needles and Nidorino.</div> <div> "Gahh, return!" he yelled calling back the Pokémon.</div> <div> "All right Charmeleon," Tonya yelled.</div> <div> "Char," the Pokémon said giving Karl the thumbs up.  It then walked over to Karl and took its claw and cut the ankle locks off, it was about to do the same to the handcuff when a loud Supersonic causing him to stop and yell in pain.</div> <div> "Ahh," Dr. Jupiter, Karl and Tonya yelled in pain, when the sound subsided Karl and the other turned around to see Pat and a Golbat.</div> <div> "I just love the sound of Golbat's Supersonic," Pat said.</div> <div> "You sick freak," Karl yelled.</div> <div> "Lets see how your Charmeleon handles another one!" Pat yelled as he Pokémon started with its Supersonic again.</div> <div> Charmeleon quickly shot out an Ember ball that hit Golbat and stopped the Pokémon from attacking.</div> <div> "Use Wing Attack!" Pat yelled.</div> <div> Golbat flew towards Charmeleon and hit it with its wings, as it flew by Charmeleon quickly reacted by slashing it on the back, and uses Flamethrower on it.</div> <div> "Golbat use Steel Wing!" Pat yelled, his Pokémon recovered and dived at Charmeleon again, this time Chameleon used Flamethrower that Golbat dodged and hit Charmeleon with a Steel Wing, but it didn't stop there the Pokémon started using Wing Attack and Bite, biting and slapping the Pokémon.  Charmeleon reeled and flew back landed on the ground.</div> <div> "Finish it off with Hyperbeam!" Pat yelled.</div> <div> "Charmeleon look out!" Karl yelled.</div> <div> The Pokémon stood up as it started to glow, but not like it was evolving, Golbat released its Hyperbeam at Charmeleon.  Right as it was about to hit the Charmeleon the Pokémon opened its mouth and released a orange beam that looked similar to Golbat's Hyperbeam but it seem to have fire flowing all around and threw the beam.  The two beams hit and Charmeleon's quickly over powered Golbat, hitting the Pokémon and knocking it out instantly, Pat recalled it before it hit the ground.</div> <div> "What was that?" Karl said surprised.</div> <div> "I have no idea," Tonya said also surprised.</div> <div> Charmeleon was breathing heavily.</div> <div> "I think its time we spilt," Loki said.</div> <div> "I agree," Saki said.</div> <div> They both took off down a passage with Pat trailing behind them.  Charmeleon sent some flames their way.</div> <div> "Way to go Charmeleon!"
