Liter said, he flipped it face up and the attack seemed to hit a wall two inches away from Porygon.EXE.</div> <div> "Huh?" Terri said surprised when she opened her eyes, her Rapidash was still standing and the last remnants of the reversed attack disappeared into thin air.  "What happened?" she said still confused.</div> <div> "I activated Reflect which reflects an attack back on the opponent then he," Billy said pointing to Liter, "activated Barrier which cancels out an attack."</div> <div> "Oh," Terri said.</div> <div> "But it doesn't end there," Liter said.</div> <div> "Yes it does," Terri said drawing a card. {Magikarp!  Yes!}  "I active the card I played face down earlier on my next turn as for now I play this card" Terri placed the card on the reader, "Magikarp!" the Pokémon said materializing on the field, and it splashed up into the air.</div> <div> "That's it?" Liter said looking at the weak Pokémon. {This rookie must be real stupid}  "Porygon.EXE attack Tri-Attack blow Rapidash away!" Porygon.EXE attacked with a huge Tri-Attack that again cut through the maze blowing away chunks of it while it headed for Rapidash.</div> <div> "As you can see," Liter said with a smile Porygon.EXE will destroy all the monsters you play."</div> <div> Billy 1100</div> <div> Terri 1500</div> <div> Kilo 1050</div> <div> Liter 1050</div> <div> "Your bill sir," the waiter said handing Grandpa the bill, "Thank you," he said looking at it.</div> <div> "So how far are we from the Game Shop?" Jericho asked as Grandpa played the money for the bill and stood up.</div> <div> "About a 15 minute drive," Grandpa said, "You're not going to challenge Billy to a duel today?" Grandpa said surprised at his eagerness."</div> <div> "No of course not," Jericho said, "I have to rest to get over this jet lag," he yawned.</div> <div> "Of course," Grandpa said opening the door of the restaurant he walked up and opened the car door.</div> <div> {Besides when he sees what Pokémon I have in store for him I don't think he will even stand a chance}"Porygon.EXE attack that wimpy Pokémon!" Kilo said another Tri-Attack ripped through the maze heading for Magikarp.</div> <div> "Magikarp Splash!" Terri said remembering the attack, Magikarp leaped up into the air completing dodging the attack.</div> <div> "It won't need to," Terri said, "its evolution time!" she said placing Gyarados card on top of Magikarp.  The fish Pokémon started to glow and change shape to a long red shiny Gyarados.</div> <div> You're Gyarados has to move through the maze to get to our Porygon.EXE and it is stronger!"</div> <div> "Hey who said I was done?" Terri said playing a card, "I activate the HM card WaterFall!"</div> <div> "It not only raises Gyarados's attack power to 3000 but it causes a huge water fall to clear the field," Terri said with a smile.</div> <div> "A good card none the less," Liter said.</div> <div> "But we activate Conversion 2!" Kilo said.  As the water neared its target Porygon.EXE the Pokémon started to glow as electricity flew out from its body hitting the water and flowing back towards Gyarados, the attack hit the Water/Flying type it started to scream in pain.</div> <div> "No Gyarados!" Terri said as the Pokémon exploded.</div> <div> Billy 1100</div> <div> Terri 1300</div> <div> Kilo 1050</div> <div> Liter 1050</div> <div> "Gyarados cleared the field of your maze," Billy said.</div> <div> "It doesn't matter," Liter said, "WE still have Porygon.EXE, and I use him to attack one of you're Custom Pokéballs!"  Porygon.EXE attacked taking out a Custom Pokéball but it was empty.</div> <div> "I activate one of my Trainer Cards," Billy said with a smile, "Trainer Swap."</div> <div> "Yes this card Swaps one of my Trainer Cards with one of another Duelist," Billy took a card out of his hand and handed it to Terri, he then took a random card from her hand. "The swap is done," Billy said looking at the card, Resistance, {Removes type advantage between Pokémon}  "I will play the swapped card face down ending my turn."</div> <div> "Porygon," the Pokémon said charging up for another electric attack it hit another hat but it was empty.</div> <div> {That was close} Billy thought.</div> <div> "Two hats left," Liter said.</div> <div> {Why did Billy-} Terri looked down at the card, {Revive The Pokémon?} she looked at the card for a while, "Wait!  I got it!  I play Revive The Pokémon to revive my downed Gyarados!"  Gyarados reappeared back on the field, "And I attack Porygon.EXE!" Gyarados opened its mouth to attack with Hyperbeam.</div> <div> "Reviving a Pokémon doesn't revive the card attached back with it," Liter said smiling.</div> <div> "You're Gyarados's attack is still at 2600 a lot weaker than our Porygon.EXE," Kilo said.</div> <div> "Not to mention the fact that with Conversion 2 activated we have type advantage," Liter said.</div> <div> "Not anymore!" Billy said turning over a card right, as the Hyperbeam was let loose; Porygon.EXE dodged the attack only to get hit in the tail, the tail exploded.</div> <div> "It did have a higher attack power," Terri said, "I was wondering why Billy was so happy when Cyber Space was destroyed, then I realized that you're Field Power Bonus only works when there is a field.  And since the maze was destroyed you don't have bonus," Terri said.</div> <div> "Returning Porygon.EXE attack to 2600," Billy said smiling, "and now you lose the difference between each of you're 5 Porygon 2s, 560 Life Points.</div> <div> "Fearow!" the Pokémon said flying around.</div> <div> 1900/2000</div> <div> "Let my handle this!" Billy said as he drew a card, "Mew come out of you're hat and attack Fearow.  Psychic Attack!"</div> <div> "Mirror Move!" Kilo yelled.</div> <div> "And since both Mew and Fearow had the same attack power for that turn both Pokémon were destroyed," Liter said with a smile, "and now I play," Liter drew from his deck, {with that Gyarados on the field we don't have the power to stop it}  "I play Thief!" Liter said, "this card steals a fourth of your Life Points and adds it to a Pokémon of my choice.</div> <div> Billy 825</div> <div> Terri 925</div> <div> Kilo 490</div> <div> Liter 490</div> <div> "Then I attack your Gyarados with Tri-Attack!" Liter said.</div> <div> The attack neared it target, but instead of hitting the Pokémon it went straight through.</div> <div> "What happened?" Billy said confused.</div> <div> "This," Terri said holding up the card, "Phase-Out, I accidentally put it in my deck, heck I don't have a ghost Pokémon, but it worked."</div> <div> "Oh," Billy said talking as he drew a card, "I play this card," he turned it around so Kilo and Liter could see, "Ampharos with a destructive attack power of 2500!"</div> <div>  "My card, Clefairy Doll, I activated it protecting my Ampharos," Billy said with a smile, the rest of the doll collapsed in a pile of broken fluff, "And now I activate another card I laid down earlier, Fusion!  And with it I'm going to combine my Ampharos and Terri's Gyarados to create Amphados the legendary Egyptian Dragon!"  Billy laughed.</div> <div> "Wow!" Terri said looking at the Pokémon then its stats, 3300/2800. {That's a powerful Pokémon.} She thought, and then she remembered the card she had laid down earlier.  "I activate this card DittoCat, and it's going to copy Thief raising Amphados's attack force by 245 points!"</div> <div> Amphados 3545/2800</div> <div> "OH no," Kilo said.</div> <div> "We're going to lose!" Liter said.</div> <div> "Attack Amphados with ThunderBeam!" Billy and Terri said at the same time.</div> <div> A huge orange beam with electricity started glowing and forming in its mouth the Pokémon let out the attack and it engulfed Porygon.EXE when the smoked cleared the Pokémon was gone and with it all Kilo and Liter's LP.</div> <div> "We lost," Kilo said.</div> <div> "Before you say anything answer my question," Jericho said, "I challenge you to a duel for you're Mew Card do you accept?"</div> <div> "What?" Billy, Grandpa and Terri said surprised…</div> <div> <B>Episode V- A Legendary Duel</B></div> <bR> <div> "What?" Billy said still surprised.</div> <div> "Your Mew Card," Jericho said.</div> <div> "Jericho you said you were going to challenge Billy to a match but I didn't think it would be for his Mew card," Grandpa said, "his parents gave that card to him."</div> <div> "Just who do you think you are?!" Terri exclaimed, "you can't just challenge him for his card."</div> <div> "I can," Jericho said, "and he will accept."</div> <div> "Why should I?" Billy said.</div> <div> "Cause you don't deserve to keep a card as rare as that," Jericho said, "If you won't defend it."</div> <div> "I do deserve to keep that card," Billy said, "My parents gave me that card!"</div> <div> "They may have gave you that card but you never earned it," Jericho said, "It should be mine."</div> <div> "Its not!" Billy said.</div> <div> "Would you're parents just want you to have that card," Jericho said, "if you really think you deserve the card' you will defend it against anyone who ask for a match!"</div> <div> "Bu-"</div> <div> "And besides," Jericho said cutting off Billy, "I will put something up for grabs that my parents have given me, Jericho opened his backpack and pulled out a gold box, "Inside this box is a treasure that my parents won in a tournament," Jericho said opening the box inside were pieces of something, "The only way I will put this puzzle together is to know that I have earned it," Billy eyed the box like a kid in a candy store, "Will you accept?"</div> <div> {There is something about that box…something I can't explain} Billy thought, {Jericho does bring up a good point.}</div> <div> "No Billy don't," Terri said.</div> <div> "I accept," Billy said.</div> <div> "Good, but we won't duel today," Jericho said, "you have already fought in a match and I am exhausted from my plane trip, we will duel next week on the same day," and with that Jericho closed the box and put it back inside his suitcase.</div> <div> "Grandpa?" Billy said looking at him.</div> <div> "You are doing the right thing," was all he said, he and Jericho went inside the Game Shop.</div> <div> "How could you?" Terri said looking at him, "you're parents gave you that card, and now you're going to gamble it in a duel.  What if you lose?"</div> <div> "Then I don't deserve to have the card," Billy said staring at the Game Shop.</div> <div> "That's stupid," Terri said shaking her head, she started to walk away.</div> <div> "You have to have faith in what you do," Billy said.</div> <div> "But too much faith can blind you," she said.</div> <div> "Maybe," Billy said, "But don't you have faith in me?"</div> <div> Terri didn't answer his question she keep walking…</div> <bR> <div> It was kind of a awkward Sunday, Billy and Jericho having to look at each other knowing that in 6 days they would be dueling for high stakes.  At school Billy noticed that Terri was avoiding him, she wasn't in her normal hang out spot, and none of her friends would answer any of Billy's questions.</div> <div> "Come on Jessie, where is she?" Billy asked.</div> <div> "Listen, one I don't know you and two she told me not to," Jessie said as she closed her locker and walked away.</div> <div> "I'm telling you," a voice said from the principal's office, Billy creep up to the door.</div> <div> "Why should I hold a duel at our school?" the principal asked.</div> <div> "Cause," the voice said, "it will be good for the school."</div> <div> "What going on in here!" Billy said opening the door wide; he found Jericho and the principal talking.</div> <div> "I was just asking the principal to let us duel at the school," Jericho said.</div> <div> "I just don't think that we should waste our dueling field on a non-school duel," the principal said.</div> <div> Billy was surprised, not only did Jericho want to beat him; he wanted to humiliate him at his new school.</div> <div> "Don't worry," Jericho said, "We wont use you're dueling arena, just let us hold the duel there, you could announce it school wide, and charge admission."</div> <div> "Well…" the principal said, "trust me once they hear the my last name those tickets will sell like hot cakes on a cold winters night."</div> <div> "I guess," the principal said, "if its okay with you're opponent…" he looked over at Billy.</div> <div> "Yeah…yes," Billy said a little unsure.</div> <div> "The Duel will be scheduled for this Friday then," the principal said.</div> <bR> <div> Friday, after school the crowd to the "Duel Of The Cs" as Jericho named it.</div> <div> ~Students of Jay High, welcome to Duel Of The Cs, this duel was made by the principal himself and will feature a new battling system not yet available to schools~ the announcer said.</div> <div> "I wish Terri was here," Billy said taking out his deck.</div> <div> ~Up for grabs in this duel is a golden chest~ the spotlight turned from the announcer to the golden chest which had intrigued Billy for some reason, ~And The Legendary Mew Card which the challenger has in his position for the purpose of this Duel~</div> <div> Billy scanned the crowd looking for any sign of Terri he didn't see her, ~And now Jay High's very own Billy Cruz, though he has never dueled for the school he is said to be a good duelist~ the announcer said.</div> <div> {Not good enough} Billy said walking out to the center of the stage; he waved his hands as he came out, not many people cheered.</div> <div> ~And now the challenger, he has won a dozen tournaments overseas in places like Asia and Japan, Jericho Carson! ~ The announcer said screaming his name, Jericho walked out with a slight smirk on his face, he was use to all the people looking at him.</div> <div> {Look at Billy} Jericho thought, {he doesn't even look like a duelist}</div> <div> The place was packed, Billy looked out of the corner of his eye to see the principal counting all the money that the school got from the admission.</div> <div> ~They will be battling with a new system called the Dueling Disc System~ All of a sudden to disc came flying through the air each landing right in front of Jericho and Billy.</div> <div> "What is this?" Billy said looking at the device.</div> <div> "The wave of the future," Jericho said, "it will make it so that duels don't have to be calculated by hand and that each opponent can duel with holograms without the huge holofields."</div> <div> "How does it work?" Billy asked.</div> <div> "Simple," Jericho said slipping a wristband on his wrist, "put you're shuffled deck into the reader, Life Points are automatically counted, you draw 6 cards place the ones you're putting into play face up the ones you're not face down."</div> <div> Billy followed the instructions that Jericho said, "okay what now?" Billy asked.</div> <div> "You throw you're disc into the field!" Jericho said.</div> <div> "Fine then!" Billy yelled at him.</div> <div> ~Wonder what card Cruz is going to start off with~ the announcer said.</div> <div> "This!" Billy said throwing the disc onto the field, "Crobat!"  The bat Pokémon appeared on the field in a brilliant light, "Whoa it looks so life like!" Billy said surprised at the detail.  The cards that Billy had drawn appeared in front of him like huge poster boards.</div> <div> "While you spend your time drooling over this hologram I start with Onix in defense!" Jericho said throwing his disc on the field, the huge rock snake appeared looming over the bat Pokémon.</div> <div> Crobat 2000/1500</div> <div> Onix 1000/2100</div> <div> {His Onix has a higher defense than my Crobat's attack; it's a good opening move} Billy thought.</div> <div> "So what's it going to be?" Jericho asked with a smile.</div> <div> "Don't worry I got the perfect card for this!" Billy said pointing to one of the cards it twirled around twice before stopping for Jericho to see, "Toxic!" Billy said, "it raises a Poison type attack by 10% making it stronger than your Onix's defense! The Crobat was surrounded in a Toxic mist all of a sudden the Pokémon inhaled it all making it look 2 times bigger than usual.  "Attack Crobat!"  The Pokémon flew towards Onix opened its wings and slashed the huge snake it exploded and disappear from the field.</div> <div> "Defense doesn't even hurt my Life Points," Jericho said with no emotion, he drew a card from the holder and looked at it, "This is good," he said yanking his hand up causing the disc to fly back into his hand, he placed the card he drew on the reader and threw the disc back onto the field.</div> <div> "Aerodactyl," the huge rock/flying Pokémon said appearing in a brilliant light, "Attack with Bite!" Jericho yelled.  His Pokémon flew towards Crobat and was about to bite it when the Pokémon disappeared.  "Huh? What happened?" Jericho said confused.</div> <div> "I played another card on the field on my first turn," Billy said with a smile, the card turned around to reveal itself, "Scoop Up!  It allows me to change the current Pokémon on the field for the strongest one in my hand.  And you know what that is," Billy said with a smile, all of a sudden one of the cards glowed and changed to a Pokémon, "Mew!  Attack with Psychic!" Billy yelled as he Pokémon unleashed its attack destroying Aerodactyl.</div> <div> Billy 2000</div> <div> Jericho 1800</div> <div> "What you actually took away some of my Life Points!" Jericho said surprised.</div> <div> "That's what you get for underestimating me!" Billy said with a laugh, "and now I replay Crobat in attack mode!" Billy said pointing to the card it turned around to reveal the Pokémon, "its your move."</div> <div> "I must admit you have improved," Jericho said drawing a card, {One of the cards I was looking for} he thought.</div> <div> {I have improved, but that was a lucky move and he knows it} Billy thought as he scanned the crowd.</div> <div> "She isn't here," Jericho said like he knew who Billy was looking for, "I asked the principal before the match, looks like you're one your own."</div> <div> "Are you here to win or fix my personally problems?" Billy asked sternly.</div> <div> "To win of course, and this next move is going to put you away!" Jericho said yanking on the line, his disc flew back into his hand; he quickly laid down a card and threw his disc back onto the field.</div> <div> "Ditto," the Pokémon said appearing on the field.</div> <div> Ditto 100/0</div> <div> "Ditto?" Billy said looking at the Pokémon, "I've never seen that card before."</div> <div> "Well its time to see its awesome power!" Jericho yelled, "Transform!"  The Pokémon slowly started to change shape until it looked like a copy of Mew.</div> <div> "What the-"</div> <div> ~Wow Ditto!  This card can copy a Pokémon exactly, it also copies the Pokémon attack power but not its defense~</div> <div> "And I attack!  Ditto Psychic!" Jericho yelled, the Ditto did the same attack like Mew; it hit Crobat the Pokémon exploded into pieces.</div> <div> Billy 1500</div> <div> Jericho 1800</div> <div> "And since you used Scoop Up to recall you're Crobat it loses the Toxic power," Jericho said, "that Mew Card is mine."</div> <div> "I must admit using Mew is a great way to copy a duelist strongest card," Billy said completely caught off guard by the Pokémon.  He drew a card and looked at it, a small smile came across his face, "Like I said," he continued as he pulled the disc back to him, "it's a good card but it does have its flaws."</div> <div> "Oh," Jericho said, he didn't look the lest bit worried.</div> <div> "I attack again with Mew!" Billy said throwing the disc back onto the field.</div> <div> "Didn't you notice Ditto's attack is the same as Mew, this match will end in stalemate," Jericho said.</div> <div> "Oh, then I guess I will have to activate a card," Billy said one of the cards turned around, "Balancing Control, it balances out your Pokémon's attack and defense points, and since your Ditto has no Defense."</div> <div> "Oh no!" Jericho said surprise, as Ditto's attack and defense changed from 2500/0 to 1250/1250.</div> <div> "Attack Mew with Psychic!" Billy yelled, his Mew obeyed and launched its attack.</div> <div> "You're attack activates my trap card," Jericho said, the card turned around, "Self-destruct!  My Pokémon automatically destroys itself, and I get to destroy one of the trainer cards in you're hand!"  A random card from Billy's hand turned around and exploded.  "Clefairy Doll, that card could have protected your Life Points for one turn.  Now I can win one turn faster."  {He looks real nervous now} Jericho thought, {I have him right where I want him.}</div> <div> {I can't believe that, it was a brilliant move, and it totally caught me off guard} Billy thought totally surprised, {I wonder what Terri is doing…}</div> <bR> <div> Jericho was wrong about Terri not being there at the duel, she was watching it from a close-circuit TV in the coach's office, which was all the way across campus, "Billy why did you accept the terms to this duel," she said quietly to herself as she continued to watch the TV.</div> <bR> <div> "I guess its my turn," Jericho said drawing a card, {Everstone Radiate When the Pokémon is killed that has this trap card attacked prevents opponents from playing evolved Pokémon.  Now all I got to do is play it with a non-evolved Pokémon and this will prevent him from playing some strong Pokémon.}  "Here we go!" Jericho said throwing the disc.</div> <div> "Bulbasaur," the Pokémon said appearing.</div> <div> "Huh?" Billy said confused, {why would he play that Pokémon?  It isn't even strong enough to fight against Mew.}</div> <div> "What scared of a little plant?" Jericho said.</div> <div> "No," Billy said, {if I'm going to attack that Pokémon I dare not attack with Mew.}  "Mew return!" Billy said calling back the disc; he drew a card, {Raichu a good Pokémon and a good attack power.}  "I play Raichu in attack mode!" Billy said.</div> <div> Raichu 2200/1000</div> <div> The electric Pokémon with its long tail appeared on the field, it released a huge Thunderstorm attack that blew away Bulbasaur.</div> <div> "There," Billy said shaking his head, all of a sudden Raichu looked extremely sick, "Raichu?" Billy said looking at the Pokémon as it exploded into a million pieces, "What?!" What's going on?"</div> <div> "That's not all," Jericho said with a smile, as the Mew card suddenly exploded.</div> <div> "What have you done Jericho?" Billy asked completely surprised.</div> <div> "This," Jericho said as the trap card he laid turned around, "Everstone Radiation."</div> <div> "Everstone Radiation?"
