Billy said.</div> <div> "But playing that card ends my turn," Jon said, "But on my next attack its light out for you're Mew and you're LP."</div> <div> "Don't give up Billy," Terri said.</div> <div> "I play the Clefairy doll in place of Mew!" Billy said placing the card on the reader a big giant Clefairy appeared, "with Clefairy on the field it protects my Mew for one turn."</div> <div> "Attack Hydro Pump!" Jon yelled, his Blastoise opened its cannons and released a huge stream of water blowing up the Clefairy doll into a million pieces.  "You're lucky next turn its you're Mew going down."</div> <div> "I doubt that," Billy said turning over his Trainer Card he played on the field earlier.  "I pay Kurt's Work, with Mew.  This causes 4 of Kurt's custom Pokéballs to protect my Mew."</div> <div> "Mew come out of you're Pokéball!" Billy said Mew appeared out of the extreme right one.</div> <div> "Why?" Jon said.</div> <div> "YOU FOOL THE TRAP CARD!" Duke said.</div> <div> "That's right attacking two hats at once was a good strategy if you had actually attacked the right one," Billy said with a smile, "But all you did was activate my trap card Master Ball!  It traps you're Blastoise in the ball and reduces it attack and defense power to zero."</div> <div> "NO!" Jon said.</div> <div> "Try yes," Billy said, "this duel is mine.  Mew Psychic!"  Mew unleashed a Psychic attack destroying the Master Ball and Blastoise, Jon LP was reduced to zero.</div> <div> "I can't believe the dweeb won!" Duke said.</div> <bR> <div> <B>FlashBack End…</B></div> <bR> <div> "Well if he beat the number three ranked duelist on the team he must have some talent," Terri's father said, she had told him the story as she was eating breakfast.</div> <div> "That what I keep trying to tell him but ever since that victory he just hasn't been the same," Terri said taking a bit of her sandwich.</div> <div> "The same?" her mom said looking up from her paper, "you just met him."</div> <div> "Yeah…I mean," Terri said looking at her watch, "Ahh, I'm going to be late," and with that she got up and ran out the front door heading to Billy's house.</div> <bR> <bR> <div> At the same time Billy was just getting up, he looked at the clock, "Ahh!!  I overslept!" he jumped out of bed and ran into the bathroom.  "Terri's going to be here in 10 minutes!" he turned on the shower and hopped in, "ahh!  My cloths!" he jumped out of the shower and tripped on the wet floor and landed on his butt.  There was a knock at the bathroom door.</div> <div> "Billy?" his grandpa said.</div> <div> "Uhh…yes," Billy said standing up and rubbing his butt.</div> <div> "I'm going out for today you think you can keep an eye on the shop while I'm gone?" he asked.</div> <div> "Sure Grandpa," Billy said, "Um...what time is it?" he asked.</div> <div> "11:55," Grandpa replied.</div> <div> "Ahhh!" Billy jumped back in the shower.</div> <div> "Kids today," Grandpa said shaking his head and leaving, when he reached the front door Terri was running up.</div> <div> "Hello," she said.</div> <div> "Hi, I'm sorry were close," he said.</div> <div> "Oh no," she said, "I'm here to see Billy, we meet in school a couple of days ago."</div> <div> "Wow," Grandpa said, "just a couple of days have passed since I enrolled him in school and he already has a very cute girlfriend."</div> <div> Terri blushed and giggled in embarrassment, "We're not going out," she said.</div> <div> "Oh my mistake," he said, "Well he is upstairs now I got to be going," and with that Grandpa got in his car and drove off.</div> <div> Billy started running down the stairs right as Terri opened the door, {Oh no!} Billy thought as he pulled his T-Shirt over his head.  While he couldn't see he lost his footing causing him to fall down the stairs.</div> <div> "Oh my!" Terri said running up to him after he had finally stopped tumbling, "you okay?" she asked helping him up.</div> <div> "Yeah," he said getting up and rubbing his head, "I guess I should get an elevator huh?" he said with an embarrassing smile on his face.</div> <div>  "Yeah," she said smiling at him.</div> <div> One of the packs of cards in an overhead fell down and landed on the floor between them, they both reached down to pick up the cards their hands touched at the same time.  Terri pulled her hand away.</div> <div> "Well I guess this can be you're first pack," Billy said picking it up and handing it to her.</div> <div> "Duel Pokémon Gyrados Booster Pack," she read.</div> <div> "Follow me I bought you something," Billy said heading through some door leading to the back.</div> <div> Terri followed on the other side of the doors was a living room with a table, that was set up for duels and a T.V, "nice," Terri said seating down at the table.</div> <div> "Here you go," Billy said handing her a box.</div> <div> "Thanks," she opened the box, inside was a starter deck, a couple of booster packs and a pouch for carrying her cards.  "All this just for me?" she asked surprise.</div> <div> "It's a gift for getting me back into dueling," Billy said.</div> <div> "Well, I must start getting people back into stuff more often," she said taking out the starter deck and opening it.</div> <div> "You do know the rules for Duel Pokémon right?" Billy asked.</div> <div> "Yeah," she said, "Its just I never really wanted to collect the cards," she said shuffling through the cards.</div> <div> ~Welcome to the Japan National Finals~ the announcer on the T.V said.</div> <div> "Oh they're starting," Billy, said jumping on his Love Seat, Terri took her box and sat next to him.</div> <div> Though Billy was practically glued to the tube, Terri was more or less putting her deck together.  She opened the booster pack that had fallen when she had entered the store; the first card on top was a Holofoil.</div> <div> "Billy what's this?" she said showing him the card.</div> <div> "Wow a Holofoil," Billy said looking at the card, "and it's a Gyrados!  Those are real rare!" Billy said giving the card back to her.</div> <div> "Attack 2600 Defense 2600," she said reading the card, "Hey this card is stronger than you're Mew.  This card could wipe the floor with it," she giggled.</div> <div> "Yeah I guess," Billy said looking through his deck and pulling out his Mew card, "But there is one restriction."</div> <div> "Aww nuts," Terri said.</div> <div> "You have to play Magikarp at the same time," Billy said.</div> <div> "So I have to evolve Magikarp to play this card," Terri said with a disappointing frown on her face.</div> <div> "Well its not that hard," Billy said, "but when you do get it on the field it will be a formidable opponent."</div> <div> "Yeah I guess," Terri said looking through the rest of the booster pack, "Oh here it is," she held up the Magikarp card.</div> <div> "The Weakest Pokémon its only attack is Splash," Billy said reading the description.</div> <div> "That sucks," Terri said.</div> <div> "Hey every monster in the game is important," Billy said smiling at her.</div> <div> "You're right," she put Magikarp and Gyrados together and started putting her deck together, "hey when my deck is finish you think we could have a friendly duel?"</div> <div> "Of course," Billy said smiling, he put Mew back in his deck and set the deck down.</div> <div> "Lets see…"Terri said looking at all the cards she had.</div> <bR> <div> About an hour later there was a big loud bang as if someone had kick the door down.</div> <div> "What the!" Billy said getting up and running to the front, "Wait here," he said to Terri who didn't even nod her head.</div> <div> "You Mr. Cruz?" a guy asked, Billy couldn't see his face because of the black hat he wore.</div> <div> "No," Billy said, "I'm his grandson Billy," Billy said looking at the guy.</div> <div> Another man walked in, "Is he here?" he asked the man in the black hat, the man shook his head no, "Why wouldn't he be here?  He was the one who made the challenge."</div> <div> "I don't know who you two are but you have a door to pay for!" Billy said.</div> <div> "We don't have to pay for nothing," the second guy said.</div> <div> "Since you're grandpa isn't here I guess he forfeits this duel to certify his Game Shop for another year," the hat man said.</div> <div> "Certify?" Billy repeated confused.</div> <div> "Let me put it to you this way," the hat man said, "No grandpa no business."</div> <div> "Billy what's going on?" Terri said appearing from the back with her completed deck.</div> <div> "This two say that if grandpa doesn't show up and duel he loses his credibility of a official Duel Pokémon game shop," Billy said.</div> <div> "What?" she said surprised.</div> <div> "I guess he forfeits on the count of no appearance," the hat man said.</div> <div> "No wait!" Billy said, "I will duel in his place."</div> <div> The man in the hat looked at the second man, "Well…"</div> <div> "Yes let him duel us," the second man said.</div> <div> "Us?" Billy said.</div> <div> "Yes it was suppose to be a handicap match," the man in the hat said.</div> <div> "Well I guess since you're not him we could make it a two on two match," second man said.</div> <div> "Meet us outside in a minute the stadium will be ready," the hat man said and with that they left.</div> <div> After they were gone Billy started walking towards the back, "Where am I going to get a partner?" Billy said as he opened the doors.</div> <div> "Umm…Billy?" Terri said.</div> <div> "Not now," Billy said turning off the T.V and grabbing his deck, "Where am I going to get a partner?"</div> <div> "Billy!" Terri said.</div> <div> "Huh?  What?!" he said frustrated.</div> <div> "I can be you're partner," she said with a smile.</div> <div> "You?" Billy said surprised, "but this would be you're first duel."</div> <div> "So, I've seen other people duel for years," she said, "How hard can it be?"</div> <div> "It can be pretty hard," Billy said.</div> <div> "I won't let you down," she said, "and besides you have no choice, where are you going to get someone in 30 seconds?"</div> <div> "You're right," Billy said giving up, "it just that I don't even know the rules to this type of duel and so much is riding on it."</div> <div> "Don't worry," Terri said putting her arm around Billy, "I wont let you down.  I guess this is the friendly duel I asked for earlier huh?"</div> <bR> <div> Billy and Terri walked outside ready to duel the two men; the stadium was on a truck bed.</div> <div> "Portable one," Billy said to himself, the stadium was different from the other ones, instead of having two places for duelist in the center, and it had four one in each of the corners.</div> <div> "You ready to duel us kids," one of the men, said, "I am Kilo!"</div> <div> "And I am Liter," the other said.</div> <div> Billy took his place on his dueling stand, Terri walked to the one right next to his standing there, and Kilo and Liter was on the other side.</div> <div> "I will play first!" Kilo said laying down a card.  All of a sudden the whole field changed there were wires and transistors all over the place, "Welcome to Cyber World!"</div> <div> "Cyber World?" Terri said it was her first time hearing that.</div> <div> "Cyber World is a maze of internet connections and computers!" Liter said.</div> <div> "You must navigate you're way thought Cyber Space to the end of the transistor maze," Kilo said.</div> <div> "It's a maze, the transistors are the walls!" Terri said surprised.</div> <div> "I never seen a duel field like this before," Billy said.</div> <div> "Well enough of you're drooling," Kilo said, "and play."</div> <div> "How?" Terri said.</div> <div> "Simple, Billy goes first then me," Liter said, "then you then Kilo."</div> <div> "The first person on the team to reach zero loses the duel for the whole team!"  Kilo said.</div> <div> "Interesting," Billy said.</div> <div> {I hope Billy knows what he's doing cause I have no idea maybe I shouldn't have voluntary myself for this duel] Terri said, "No I can't think like that."</div> <div> "Like what?" Billy said over hearing what Terri had said.</div> <div> "Nothing," Terri said with a smile.</div> <div> "Would you two stop you're japing and play!" Kilo said.</div> <div> "Hold on!" Terri snapped back.</div> <div> "Okay for my first move I play Poliwrath in attack mode!" Billy said.</div> <div> Poliwrath 1900/2000.</div> <div> "And I move him into the maze three spaces," Billy said.  Poliwrath moved through the maze 3 spaces.</div> <div> {Heh he is already too far in} Liter said. "I play Scyther!" he yelled as Scyther appeared on the field.</div> <div> Scyther 2200/2100</div> <div> "And I use this Fusion Card to combine him with my brothers Cyber Space making him Cyther!" Liter said, his Scyther glowed as it started to meld with the wall when it stopped the Scyther was nowhere in sight.  "Attack Cyther with Cyber Slash!"  Cyther shadow started to move against the wall all the way to where Poliwrath was and sliced the Pokémon in half.</div> <div> "What?!" Terri said surprised, "That's not fair Cyther can move to anywhere on the field!"</div> <div> "That the power of the Cyber Space!" Kilo said.</div> <div> Life Points:</div> <div> Billy 1700</div> <div> Terri 2000</div> <div> Kilo 2000</div> <div> Liter 2000</div> <bR> <div> "As you can see no one can get pass our Cyber Space Maze," Liter said.</div> <div> "You wont be able to even step one foot into the maze without falling victim to Cyther's Cyber Slash!" Kilo said with a laugh.</div> <div> {A good opening move fusing Scyther with the wall I just hope the pressure doesn't get to Terri I'm going to need her help with this duel} Billy thought looking at Terri as she looked through her cards.</div> <div> {I thought this would be a walk in the park but these guys mean business} Terri thought.</div> <div> "Well are you going to play little girl?" Kilo said.</div> <div> "Yeah just hold you're horses!" Terri said, "Okay l will lay this Card down and play this Pokémon Ponyta in attack mode!"  Ponyta appeared on the field.</div> <div> Ponyta 1500/1700</div> <div> "And I wont move it any where near Cyber Space that way it is protected from Cyther," she said, "good move huh?"</div> <div> "Yes," Billy said giving her the thumbs up.</div> <div> "Go ahead brother," Liter said.</div> <div> "Right," Kilo said, "I play this monster face down," {Ariados if they lands on the space with his web, their in for a surprise} "and I attack with Porygon."  Porygon appeared on the field.  "This Pokémon gets a field power bonus of 500 and as for its Trainer Power I am going to save that for later."</div> <div> Porygon 1900/1200</div> <div> "Trainer Power?" Terri asked.</div> <div> "Yes it's a special power that some Pokémon posses," Billy said.</div> <div> {Even the most newest duelist know what a Trainer Power is} Kilo thought {that must mean she just got into dueling} a smile came across his face.</div> <div> "Okay its my turn," Billy said drawing a card from the deck, "I play Cyndaquil in attack mode!!" A Cyndaquil appeared on the field.</div> <div> Cyndaquil 1600/1500</div> <div> "And I move it into the Cyber Space 6 spaces!" Billy said.  His Cyndaquil walked in 6 spaces.</div> <div> "Didn't you learn the first time?  Attack Cyther!" Liter yelled.  His Cyther shadow flew through the walls of the Cyber Space and appeared right in front of Cyndaquil, but before it could slash the Pokémon in half a long line of webbing wrapped itself around the Pokémon it couldn't move.</div> <div> "What?" Liter said.</div> <div> "Spinark's Web!" Terri said turning over the card, "I didn't really knew what it did but I did remember that Spider's trap its prey in webs so I thought this card had the same effect," Terri said with a smile.</div> <div> "And that's not all it did," Billy said, "it lowers Cyther's attack by 700 points making it weaker than Cyndaquil.  Cynaquil FLAME WHEEL!" Billy yelled his Pokémon attacked with a huge fire wheel that engulfed the fused Pokémon killing it.</div> <div> "Alright!" Terri said.</div> <div> "Good move!" Billy said.</div> <div> "Hey it was inspired by you," Terri said with a smile.</div> <div> Life Points</div> <div> Billy 1700</div> <div> Terri 2000</div> <div> Kilo 2000</div> <div> Liter 1900</div> <div> "You may have defeated my creature but we still have the lead," Liter said.</div> <div> "Yeah well it's my turn so you better watch out!" Terri said drawing from the deck, {we need to make our attack force bigger}  "I play Houndour in attack mode!" Houndour appeared on the field in a big roar."</div> <div> Houndour 2000/1200</div> <div> "I move both him and Ponyta 6 spaces into the maze with Cyndaquil to combine there attack power," Terri said, "and I end my turn."  {I hope I'm doing the right thing} Terri looked at Billy who was looking at his cards.</div> <div> "Well now it is my turn," Kilo said drawing a card.  "I play my second Porygon." Another Porygon appeared on the field.  "And I move both of them 5 spaces into the maze."</div> <div> "Two Porygon?" Terri said.</div> <div> {Why would they play two of the same cards?} Billy said, {I can't worry about that now} Billy drew a card.  "Okay I play Mew." Mew appeared on the field, "As well as this Trainer Card."</div> <div> Mew 2500/2100</div> <div> "I also move Mew 7 spaces into the field to lead the group," Billy said.</div> <div> "Good Mew is the strongest card on the field right now!" Terri said.</div> <div> "Not for long right brother," Liter said.</div> <div> "Right," Kilo said.</div> <div> Liter drew from his deck, "Prepare to lose!" he placed the card on the reader, "I play Upgrade!"</div> <div> "Upgrade?" Billy said he had never heard of that card.</div> <div> "Upgrade Card upgrades Porygon from its from its current stage to Porygon 2!" Liter said smiling, Porygon started to glow and when it stopped it looked basically the same the only difference was the fact that all its sharp edges were rounded off.</div> <div> "So?  What does that do?" Terri said looking at the Pokémon.</div> <div> "Look at its attack power," Kilo said.</div> <div> "Normally Porygon attack is 1400, but because of the field it is 1900," Liter said.</div> <div> "But thanks to upgrade Porygon 2 attack is now 2100," Kilo said.</div> <div> "Don't forget the field power bonus of 500," Liter said, "that puts it at 2600 stronger than you're Mew."</div> <div> "Oh great," Terri said.</div> <div> "But playing Upgrade ends my turn," Liter said.</div> <div> "Which makes it mine," Billy said moving his hand to draw from the deck.</div> <bR> <bR> <div> Grandpa's car pulls up to the airport pick up area, "I wonder where he is his flight should have already came in," Grandpa opened his car door and got out.  Lurking in the shadows a couple feet away was a guy dressed all in black.  The man waited until Grandpa's back was turned to him, he stepped out of the shadows holding something in his hand as he ran towards the unsuspecting Grandpa.</div> <bR> <div> To Be Continued…</div> </td> </tr></table></body>
