Unlike their mild-mannered cousin, Pidgeotto are very protective of their sprawling territory. Pidgeotto will fiercely peck or claw at any intruder. You can obtain a Pidgeotto either by capturing one in the wild or by building up a Pidgey. Pidgeotto is much rarer than Pidgey. Uses stronger wind attacks such as Powerful Gust.  ></div> <div> "Dewgong this is your first battle try a Water Gun attack," I yelled.</div> <div> "Pidgeotto Gust," the man yelled.</div> <div> Dewgong shot out a big stream of water that was blown away by Pidgeotto's Gust.</div> <div> "Dewgong dive under water," I yelled.</div> <div> "Pidgeotto Razor Wind," the man yelled.</div> <div> Pidgeotto started to make a mini tornado as Dewgong dived under water.</div> <div> "Release," the man yelled.</div> <div> "Ice Beam," I yelled.</div> <div> The beam came out of the water at a super fast speed hitting the tornado the attacks both stopped.</div> <div> "Dewgong surface," I yelled</div> <div> "Pidgeotto Quick Attack," he yelled.</div> <div> Pidgeotto started to dive towards Dewgong really fast.</div> <div> "Dewgong now Aurora Beam," I yelled.</div> <div> Pidgeotto hit Dewgong and as it was about to climb it got hit in the back with an Aurora Beam.  The Pokémon landed in the water knocked out.</div> <div> "Pidgeotto return," the man yelled.</div> <div> "Good job Dewgong," I said.</div> <div> "One more Pokémon," the man said throwing a Pokéball.</div> <div> "Magnemite," the Pokémon said.</div> <div> "Dewgong return," I said.  "Go Chikorita."</div> <div> "Chika," my grass Pokémon said.</div> <div> "Chris is doing a good job," Keith said.</div> <div> "But he better watch out that Magnemite looks powerful," Jewel said.</div> <div> <Magnemite a Magnet Pokémon. Found in only two locations. The unknown dungeon and the Power Plant. A magnet Pokémon of the electric type. Uses Thundershock often. A weak attack is it's major flaw. Uses anti-gravity to stay suspended. Appears without warning. Magnemite use their electrical powers to paralyze and confuse their opponents before shocking them into submission. Magnemite are also good at finding lost paperclips and other small metal objects. <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" >></FONT></div> <div> "Chikorita Vine Whip," I yelled.</div> <div> "Magnemite Screech," the man yelled.</div> <div> Chikorita tried to shoot out its vines but the screech attack hurt her ears so much.</div> <div> "Uhh," Jewel yelled.</div> <div> "Chris stop this noise," Keith yelled.</div> <div> "Chikorita Quick Body Slam," I yelled over the screeching.</div> <div> Chikorita indured the pain of the Screech and ran full speed body slamming Magnemite making it stop.</div> <div> "Magnemite Thundershock," the man yelled.</div> <div> "Chikorita Reflect," I yelled.</div> <div> The attack hit the shield absorbing half the attack the rest hit Chikorita but she was okay.</div> <div> "Chikorita Finish it off with a Razor Leaf," I yelled.</div> <div> Chikorita shot out three leafs that Magnemite destroyed with an electric attack, but Chikorta had already ran up and followed up with a Body Slam taking the Pokémon down.  Before Magnemite could get up Chikorita hit it about 12 times with its vines knocking it out.</div> <div> "Magnemite loses we win," Jewel said.</div> <div> "WE?" Keith said.</div> <div> "All right Chikorita," I said.</div> <div> "Okay you can pass," the man said calling back his Pokémon.</div> <div> "Thanks," I said walking pass him and heading towards the beach.</div> <div> "Why are we heading towards the beach again?" Jewel asked she had her Eevee out of its Pokéball and she was petting it.</div> <div> "There are two reasons why we are heading to the beach," Keith said.</div> <div> "What are they?" I asked.</div> <div> "Even though the summer season is over there is the off chance that we might run into some beautiful girls in Swim suits," Keith said wandering off into a daydream.</div> <div> "And the other reason," I asked.</div> <div> "…the girl's in the swim suits," Keith said this time he was wander away from the group.</div> <div> ^What? ^ Chikorita said waving one of her vines in his face.</div> <div> "Something is wrong," I said.</div> <div> ^I think this human is broken^ Chikorita said.  ^Can we trade him in for a new one and this one too. ^ She said pointing one of her vines at Jewel.</div> <div> "Hey you think Keith is like so kind of thing?" I said.</div> <div> ^Well…^ Chikorita said.</div> <div> "As much as I wish he isn't like my Pokédex," I said.</div> <div> "Or a Pokéball," Jewel said.</div> <div> "…the girls," Keith said still rambling on.</div> <div> "Someone stop him little hearts are appearing around him," Jewel said.</div> <div> "I know," I said pulling out a Pokéball and throwing it.</div> <div> "Venonat," the Pokémon said.</div> <div> "Shadow use Tackle on Keith so he falls in the water," I said.</div> <div> And that did the trick, he snapped back into his senses.</div> <div> "And there is a Bug Pokémon competition at Bill's Light House," Keith said finishing his sentence about 5 minutes later.</div> <div>  "A bug contest?" I asked.</div> <div> "Yes," he said.  "It's a tournament for bug Pokémon.  All you need are at least two bug Pokémon to enter."</div> <div> "Two bug Pokémon," I said looking at Shadow.</div> <div> ^You also have that Beedrill you captured^ Chikorita said.</div> <div> "Yeah, but I transferred it to the professor," I said remembering using my Pokédex to do it.</div> <div> "Don't worry when we get to Bill's he has a transporter," Keith said.</div> <div> "Yeah he invented it," Jewel said.</div> <div> It didn't take that long to get to the lighthouse but there were a lot of trainers there most of them Bug Catchers.  We walked inside to see Bill (Keith pointed him out)</div> <div> "Hey Bill," he said walking up to him.</div> <div> "So you're back," Bill said.  "To lose again."</div> <div> "I am not this time I am going to prove I am the greatest bug Pokémon trainer," he said.</div> <div> "Excuse me can I use you phone?" I asked.</div> <div> "Sure it is over there at the wall," Bill said.</div> <div> I went over to the phone and dialed Professor Albert's Number.</div> <div> "Man mankey," a Pokémon said answering the phone.</div> <div> "Huh?" I said.</div> <div> "Mankey," the Professor said using a Pokéball to call the Pokémon back.</div> <div> "Chris," the professor said.  "I am so sorry about Mankey."</div> <div> "Who's Pokémon is that?" I asked.</div> <div> "Karl's I just got it from him today," he said.</div> <div> "He must be catching a lot of Pokémon," I said.</div> <div> "I only have this Pokémon," the professor said.</div> <div> ^Hey get on with it^ Chikorita said.</div> <div> "Right professor I would like my Beedrill," I said.</div> <div> "Okay hold on," the professor said putting me on hold.</div> <div> ^Wonder what is taking him so long^ Chikorita said.</div> <div> "Okay," the professor said placing the Pokéball on the transporter and pressing a button.  The Pokéball appeared in the transporter next to me in a flash.</div> <div> "I got it," I said.</div> <div> "Good and bye-," the professor was cut off by Mankey who kicked him in the head then waved at me and pressed a button the screen when black.</div> <div> ^I think the professor is going to have his hands full with Karl's Mankey ^ Chikorita said.</div> <div> "Yeah," I said taking the Pokéball with Beedrill in it.</div> <div> We walked back to the desk where Bill was but he wasn't there.  Instead Nurse Joy was.</div> <div> "I would like to enter the tournament," I said.</div> <div> "Good and what is your name and what are the bug Pokémon you are using?" Nurse Joy asked. </div> <div> "My name is Chris and my two bug Pokémon are Beedrill and a Venonat," I said showing her the two Pokéballs.</div> <div> "Good you will fight first," Nurse Joy said.</div> <div> "What, first?" I said.</div> <div> "Yes against the only girl who entered the tournament," Nurse Joy said.</div> <div> "Great," I said.</div> <div> "And your match starts now," she said getting up from behind the desk and walking outside.</div> <div> I followed her and when I reached outside Jewel came up to me.</div> <div> "So who you fighting?" she asked still petting her Eevee.</div> <div> "The only girl in the tournament," I said.</div> <div> "I saw her," she said.</div> <div> ^Ha it would be really funny if you lost since your going first^ Chikorita said.</div> <div> "Hey you're suppose to have confidence in me," I said.</div> <div> "From what I heard she is one of the best," Jewel said.  "Even Keith doesn't want to battle her."</div> <div> "Don't worry about me," I said a little worried.</div> <div> ^Of course he is going to win he is the star of the story^ Chikorita said.</div> <div> "Huh?" I said.</div> <div> ^You-are-the-^</div> <div> "I know what a star is," I said.</div> <div> "Chris your match," Nurse Joy said standing in the middle of the grass field.</div> <div> I walked to the opposite end of the field and me my opponent.</div> <div> "This match is between Chris Shockley and Jennifer Brigent let the battle begin," Nurse Joy said.</div> <div> "Okay this boy is going to be so easy go," she said throwing a Pokéball.</div> <div> "Beedrill," the Pokémon said.</div> <div> "Fine then I will start off with a Beedrill of my own go!" I yelled throwing the Pokéball.</div> <div> "Beedrill," my Pokémon said.</div> <div> "That Beedrill looks very weak, Beedie start off with a Tackle Attack," she yelled.</div> <div> "Beedrill Poison Sting," I yelled.</div> <div> The two bug Pokémon rammed each other and bounced off.</div> <div> "Beedrill Pin Missle," I yelled.</div> <div> "Beedie Agility," she yelled.</div> <div> My Beedrill shot out a lot of stingers aimed at her "Beedie" but her Pokémon disappeared in a flash.</div> <div> "Huh?" I said.</div> <div> "Now Twinneedle," she yelled.</div> <div> Her Beedrill appeared from behind hitting Beedrill in the back knocking it to the floor.</div> <div> "Please get up," I yelled.</div> <div> "Finish it off with your Poison Sting," she yelled.</div> <div> Her Pokémon charged Beedrill at full speed with its big stinger pointed at Beedrill.</div> <div> "Look out," I yelled.</div> <div> Beedrill rolled out of the way just inches away from being stung the Beedrills stinger got stuck in the ground.</div> <div> "Quick use Twinneedle," I yelled, after that is was all over.</div> <div> "Come on back," she said calling back her Beedrill and sending out another Pokémon.</div> <div> "Free," the Butterfree said.</div> <div> <Butterfree A Butterfly Pokémon. Seen as a butterfly, Butterfree flies around. The majestic Butterfree will put its enemies to sleep, or confuse them, then give them the final blow with Psybeam. In battle, this Pokémon flaps its wings at high speed to release highly toxic dust into the air. Be sure to keep lots of awakening potion in your first aid kit before doing battle with this beautiful but dangerous Pokémon. Butterfree's flying abilities make it more versatile than some of the other Pokémon you'll find early in your adventure. ></div> <div> "I never found that Pokémon," I said.</div> <div> "Chris you better watch out that Butterfree looks tough," Keith said.  He should know he has one.</div> <div> "Quick use Fury Attack," I yelled.</div> <div> "Butterfree Confusion," she yelled.</div> <div> Beedrill flew up to Butterfree about to use its Fury Attack but got hit with confusion sending it out of control flying around like crazy.</div> <div> "Return," I yelled calling him back.</div> <div> "So who you gonna choose now?" she asked.</div> <div> "Go Pokéball," I said throwing Shadows ball.</div> <div> "Venonat," my Pokémon said.</div> <div> "Ha this should be easy Butterfree Sleep Powder," she yelled.</div> <div> "Shadow Teleport," I yelled as my Pokémon teleported out of the way of the Sleep Powder.</div> <div> "Butterfree Confusion," she yelled.</div> <div> "Quick Teleport again in back and use Tackle," I yelled.</div> <div> My Pokémon dodged the attack and Tackled Butterfree from behind.</div> <div> "Butterfree Teleport," she yelled.</div> <div> "Psybeam," I yelled.</div> <div> Butterfree teleported just as the Psybeam was about to hit it, still recovering from the attack it appeared from behind hitting Shadow with a Psybeam knocking it down.</div> <div> "Quick get up," I yelled.</div> <div> "Veno," it said trying to get up then fell down fainted.</div> <div> "No," I said.</div> <div> "Venonat is unable to battle the victory goes to Jennifer," Nurse Joy said.</div> <div> "Man, return," I said calling back Venonat.</div> <div> "You put up a good fight," Jennifer said coming up to me and extending her arm.</div> <div> "Thanks," I said shaking it.</div> <div> "Man I can't believe you lost," Jewel said.</div> <div> ^If only I could enter that tournament then you would have won^ Chikorita said.</div> <div> "I guess it's up to me now," Keith said.</div> <div> "Great," I said sarcastically.</div> <div> "Hey you happen to be looking at the best bug trainer around," he said.</div> <div> "Yeah," Jewel said.  "Right."</div> <div> "Hey you don't have confidence in me?" he said.</div> <div> "Of course we do," I said walking away from them and heading back inside Bill's Tower but what I saw in there surprised me.</div> <div> "Ha Prepare for trouble we captured Bill," Melissa said.</div> <div> "Make it double for we will break his will," Matthew said.</div> <div> "Melissa."</div> <div> "Matthew."</div> <div> "Team Rocket will send you a bill," Melissa said.</div> <div> "Surrender now my friends beause we have the hill," Matthew said.</div> <div> "We the best that's right," they finished there motto.</div> <div> "What are you doing with Bill?" I asked.</div> <div> "We want Bill to call the whole tournament off," Melissa said.</div> <div> "Why?" I asked.</div> <div> "Because we want all those bug Pokémon," Matthew said.</div> <div> "Yeah well your not getting them Chikorita Razor Leaf," I yelled.</div> <div> "Chika," she said about to use the attack.</div> <div> "I wouldn't if I were you," Matthew said.</div> <div> "You see we have whole place bobby trapped one wrong move and ka boom," Melissa said.</div> <div> "Don't," was all Bill said then Melissa stuck a sock in his mouth.</div> <div> "Hold on Bill," I yelled.</div> <div> "And you better not even make a move," Matthew said.</div> <div> "Chris what is taking you so long," Jewel said walking in to see Bill tied up with a sock in his mouth and me standing there.</div> <div> "Look out," I yelled as I tackled her to the ground.</div> <div> "Now you did," Melissa yelled throwing a Pokéball.</div> <div> "Arcanine," the Pokémon barked.</div> <div> "Quick Chikorita Razor Leaf," I yelled.</div> <div> "Arcanine Flamethrower," Melissa yelled.</div> <div> The leafs got burned up by the attack.</div> <div> "Eevee Sand-Attack," Jewel yelled.</div> <div> The Eevee kicked up a lot of sand into Arcanine eyes.</div> <div> "Okay go Rhyhorn," I said throwing his Pokéball.</div> <div> "Ohh no you don't," Matthew said running towards us his foot hit something and caused a big explosion knocking Team Rocket and Bill away.</div> <div> "Help," Bill yelled.</div> <div> Chikorita used its vines to grab his legs and Rhyhorn caught his shirt on his horn stopping his fall.</div> <div> "Looks like we are over the hill," Matthew said as they flew away from view.</div> <div> "Thanks man," Bill said.</div> <div> "Hey it was nothing," I said.</div> <div> "Yeah we always beat Team Rocket," Jewel said.</div> <div> We all went back to watch the rest of the tournament after a lot of people was eliminated for using a Metapod vs. another Metapod, it was down to Keith vs. the only girl in the tournament Jennifer after a fierce battle which pitted Pinsir against her Beedrill which both knocked each other out it was down to sudden death.</div> <div> "Pokéball go," Keith yelled throwing a Pokéball.</div> <div> "Ha go," Jennifer yelled throwing a Pokéball.</div> <div> "Free," Keith Pokémon said.</div> <div> "Scyther," Jennifer Pokémon said.</div> <div> "Scyther," I said pulling out my Pokédex.</div> <div> <Scyther A Mantis Pokémon. A very strong Pokémon without a doubt. This frightening Pokémon seems to have just as much in common with dinosaurs as with bugs. The razor edges on its wings make it's Slash attack that much more damaging. Add to that ninja-like speed and sharpness and the enemy is down for the count! This is one Pokémon to avoid if you're a beginning trainer. ></div> <div> "Ha Scyther Double Team," Jennifer yelled.</div> <div> "Butterfree hold on," Keith yelled.</div> <div> Scyther multiplied into three.</div> <div> "Butterfree Tackle the one in the center," Keith yelled.</div> <div> Butterfree hit the center Scyther with amazing speed only to go right threw it.</div> <div> "Slash," Jennifer yelled as Scyther appeared from the back Slashing Butterfree.</div> <div> "Hang in there Butterfree use Stun Spore," Keith yelled.</div> <div> The Stun Spore started to surround the remaining two Scythers.</div> <div> "Sword Dance," Jennifer yelled.</div> <div> Here Scyther's spinned around blowing the cloud away.</div> <div> "Man use Confusion," Keith yelled.</div> <div> "Scyther Quick Attack," Jennifer yelled.</div> <div> Her Scyther went for a quick attack but stopped as Butterfree let out its Confusion.   Scyther became Confused and started flying all over the place.</div> <div> "Scyther knock it off," Jennifer yelled.</div> <div> "Butterfree finish it off with Psybeam," Keith yelled.</div> <div> "Free," the Pokémon said letting out the attack making a direct hit with Scyther who fell to the ground.</div> <div> "Scy," it said trying to get up.</div> <div> "Please get up," Jennifer yelled.</div> <div> "Please stay down," Keith said looking at his Butterfree who was completely exhausted.</div> <div> "ther," the poekmon said fainting.</div> <div> "Scyther is unable to battle the winner of Bill's tournament is Keith Nurse Joy yelled so everyone could here.</div> <div> "All right," Keith yelled.</div> <div> "Wow who knew," I said.</div> <div> "Keith really is good with bug Pokémon," Jewel said.</div> <div> "I won alright finally," he said.</div> <div> Even though I lost in the first round I was happy for Keith.</div> <bR> <bR> </td> </tr></table></body>
