I said forgetting about Chikorita.</div> <div> "You are the 50th person to enter the Pokémon Center so you win the tickets to go see the Sensational Sisters live tomorrow."</div> <div> "The `Sense' able what?" I said.</div> <div> "The Sensational Sisters, they have there own water show and they are the gym leaders in Cerulean City."</div> <div> "They are gym leaders?" I said still confused.</div> <div> "Chikorita," Jewel yelled at me.</div> <div> "Right," I said showing my badly hurt Chikorita to Nurse Joy.</div> <div> "Ohh my," she said taking Chikorita and putting her on a stretcher that two Chansey brought out.</div> <div> "My other Pokémon," I said handing her my other Pokéball and Jewel gave her hers.</div> <div> "Chansey take this Pokéballs," Nurse Joy said pushing Chikorita to the intensive care section and closed the door behind her.</div> <div> "Hang in there Chikorita," I said.</div> <div> "Don't worry," Jewel said.</div> <div> "Hey what is a wild Rhyhorn doing here," a voice from outside the Pokémon Center said, I turned around and saw a boy about my age wearing a green and white cap with a Butterfree on the front like the official Pokémon league hat.</div> <div> "Hey that is my Pokémon," I said running outside right as the kid pulled out a Pokéball from his belt.</div> <div> "It is?" he said.</div> <div> "Yeah my name is Chris and this is Jewel," I said, "And that is my Rhyhorn."</div> <div> "Don't worry I won't capture it," he said.  "I like Bug Pokémon and that is the only Pokémon I will collect, my name is Keith."</div> <div> "Ohh," I turned on my translator.</div> <div> "Rhyhorn are you okay?" I asked it.</div> <div> ^Yeah man, what do you think? ^ He answered.</div> <div> "Whoo how did it talk?" he said amazed.</div> <div> "Translator," I said pointing to it.</div> <div> "Cool man," he said then he turned to Jewel.  "You have any bug Pokémon?"</div> <div> "No," she said turning away from him and rubbing Rhyhorn on the head.</div> <div> "Do you?" he asked.</div> <div> "Yes," I said.</div> <div> "Good lets battle," he said.</div> <div> "We can't," I quickly answered.</div> <div> "Why?" he said his face dropping.</div> <div> "Because my Pokémon are being healed," I said.  "But if you want you can battle Rhyhorn here."</div> <div> "Okay," he said pulling out a Pokéball.</div> <div> "Wait," I said turning back to Rhyhorn.</div> <div> "You ready for a battle," I said.</div> <div> ^Yo what do you mean "am I ready" of course I'm ready^ he said.</div> <div> "Alright lets go," I said.</div> <div> "Okay one on one," Keith said throwing a Pokéball.</div> <div> "Pinsir," he said throwing a Pokéball.</div> <div> "Rhyhorn use-," I was interrupted.</div> <div> "Are you the young trainer who brought in the Chikorita?" Nurse Joy said.</div> <div> "Yes," I said.</div> <div> "Come with me," she said.</div> <div> "Sorry but can we postpone the battle," I said.</div> <div> "That is okay," he said.</div> <div> "Come on," I said to Jewel but I think Keith thought I meant him so he followed us inside.</div> <div> We walked inside to the intensive care room to find a whole bunch of empty beds except one with Chikorita in it.  She was bandaged up, her head.</div> <div> "Chikorita," I yelled.</div> <div> "No you mustn't wake her up she needs her rest," Nurse Joy said.</div> <div> "Ohh," I said.</div> <div> "It should be fully healed by tomorrow," Nurse Joy said.</div> <div> "Thanks," I said.</div> <div> "Also your other Pokémon are healed and are waiting at the front with your Tickets to the show tomorrow," Nurse Joy said leaving us to go attend to other Pokémon.</div> <div> "Okay," I said walking back to the front and taking my other Pokémon.</div> <div> "Whoa what is a wild Rhyhorn doing out here," a man who looked to be about 21 said.</div> <div> "That is my Pokémon," I said walking outside.</div> <div> "It is?" he said.</div> <div> "Yeah I thought the same thing," Keith said.</div> <div> "Well I challenge you to a Pokémon Battle," he said pulling out a Pokéball from his belt and throwing it.</div> <div> "Graveler," the rock Pokémon said.</div> <div> "What is that?" Chris said pulling out his Pokédex.</div> <div> <Graveler A Rock Pokémon. > The Pokédex said.  <Graveler's rocky surface is twice as hard as Geodude's; hence it's higher defense rating. Its mass is twice Geodude's and its attacks are just as powerful. Graveler floats also. Unfortunately, Graveler is a very slow, roll down slopes to move. It rolls over any obstacle without slowing or changing its direction. As it changes, its rocky skin develops several layers of jagged scales. These scales are chipped off in battle but are quickly replaced. Once Graveler is traded, he will evolve into Golem. ></div> <div> "Okay then go," I said throwing Bubbles Pokéball.</div> <div> "Ma Marril," the Pokémon said.</div> <div> "Ha you have the advantage," Keith said.</div> <div> "Yes I do, everyone knows that water Pokémon have the advantage against rock Pokémon okay," I said a little annoyed.</div> <div> "Graveler use Rock Throw," the trainer said.</div> <div> Graveler rolled over to some rocks and picked them up and hurled one at Marril.</div> <div> "Marril Ice Beam," I yelled.</div> <div> Marril shot out the ice attack freezing the rock and broke on impact when it hit the ground.</div> <div> "Marril use Water Gun," I yelled.</div> <div> "Golem Self-Destruct," the trainer yelled.</div> <div> Marril hit Graveler with Water Gun making it roll back towards the trainer as Graveler started to glow.</div> <div> "Uhhhh…return fast," the trainer said calling back Graveler.</div> <div> "I won," I yelled.</div> <div> "Hey I still got one Pokémon left," he said throwing another Pokéball.</div> <div> "Bell," the Pokémon said I pulled out the Pokédex.</div> <div> <Weepinbell A Flycatcher Pokémon. Found in southeast parts of the world, Weepinbell is the second evolution of Bellsprout. Weepinbell is like a banana with leaves and uses the same attacks as Bell Sprout. It spit's out Poison Powder to immobilize the enemy and then finishes it with a spray of Acid. Weepinbell can use its Growth ability to increase the power of its special attacks, like Poison Powder. Its final evolution will result in the use of the leaf stone on Weepinbell. ></div> <div> "Marril use," I was interrupted as someone pulled out a Pokédex.</div> <div> <Marril The tip of its tail, which contains oil that is lighter than water, lets it swim without drowning. The end of its tail serves as a buoy that keeps it from drowning, even in a vicious current. ></div> <div> "Who was that?" I said turning around to see Kyle.</div> <div> "FYI Marril is weaken by plant attacks," he said.</div> <div> "For your information," I said.</div> <div> "Yes," he said.</div> <div> "Weepinbell Razor Leaf," the trainer yelled.</div> <div> I turned around a yelled out an attack.  "Ice Beam"</div> <div> Marril froze Weepinbell whole before it had a chance to let out a leaf.</div> <div> "Return," the trainer said calling back his Pokémon.  "Man," he said walking into the Pokémon Center.</div> <div> "What are you doing here?" I said turning to Kyle.</div> <div> "A trade," he said.  "Your Marril for that Rattata you saved from the Golem.</div> <div> "No deal," I said.</div> <div> "Yeah," Jewel said.</div> <div> "What is he talking about?" Keith said.</div> <div> "Fine how about a battle then," he said.</div> <div> "Fine," I said.</div> <div> "One on one," he said throwing a Pokéball.</div> <div> "Machoke," the Pokémon said.</div> <div> <Machoke A Super Power Pokémon. Machoke, on the other hand, likes it's own body way too much. Sometimes it's way too busy looking at it'self in the mirror to train. Its height is much taller than Machop's. Its muscle power is 5 times that of its predecessor. Its muscular body is so powerful; it must wear a power save belt to be able to regulate its motions. Although it is very big and strong, Machoke is surprisingly quite agile. Its favorite pastime is bodybuilding. ></div> <div> "Fine with me," I said pulling out Venonat's Pokéball.</div> <div> Then a cloud of smoke appeared around us.</div> <div> "The clouds are forming," a voice said.</div> <div> "And we are exploring," another voice said I recognize it.</div> <div> "Team Rocket," I yelled.</div> <div> "Melissa," she said.</div> <div> "Matthew," he said.</div> <div> "Team Rocket blast off at the speed of light," Melissa said.</div> <div> "We will catch all the Pokémon that is left so prepare to fight," Matthew said.</div> <div> "Were Pokémon poachers that's right that's right," they said together.</div> <div> "Who are you?" Keith yelled.</div> <div> "We are…TEAM ROCKET DIDN'T YOU LISTEN TO A WORD WE SAID?!" Melissa yelled.</div> <div> "Ohh don't you steal peoples Pokémon?" Keith asked.</div> <div> "Yes and now it is time to steal all of your Pokémon," Matthew said then pausing.  "Where is your Chikorita?"</div> <div> "Injured thanks to you two," I yelled.</div> <div> "Fine then we will have to injure the rest of your Pokémon," he said pulling out a bazooka and firing it at the Pokémon.  A net captured Machoke and Marril.</div> <div> "Ha ha, we have your Pokémon," Melissa said.</div> <div> "Ha that cant hold them, Machoke break the net," Kyle yelled.</div> <div> "Ma…CHOKE," the Pokémon yelled as the ropes broke.</div> <div> "Now it is pay back time," I yelled.</div> <div> "Roowwwoorr," Rhyhorn yelled tackling Team Rocket.</div> <div> "Shadow I choose you!" I yelled throwing his Pokéball.</div> <div> "Staryu go!" Jewel yelled throwing her Pokéball.</div> <div> "Pinsir, Butterfree and Beedrill go!" Keith said throwing his Pokéballs.</div> <div> "Venonat"</div> <div> "Pinsir"</div> <div> "Hya"</div> <div> "Free"</div> <div> "Beeddd"</div> <div> "All right Venonat Solarbeam," I yelled.</div> <div> "Butterfree Solarbeam too, and Beedrill Poison Sting," Keith yelled.</div> <div> "Ahhhh," Matthew and Melissa yelled.</div> <div> "Now," Keith and I yelled together as our Pokémon let out there attacks at Team Rocket.</div> <div> "Ahhh," they keep yelling as they threw their Pokéballs.</div> <div> "Arcanine"</div> <div> "Primeape"</div> <div> "Hyperbeam," they yelled.</div> <div> The two attacks meet up ours.</div> <div> "Machoke Seismic Toss," Kyle yelled.</div> <div> " You two Pinsir," Keith yelled.</div> <div> "Staryu Water Gun," I yelled.</div> <div> "And you two Marril," I yelled.</div> <div> All the attacks hit Team Rocket and their Pokémon were sent flying into them by Machoke and Pinsir.</div> <div> "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh," they yelled as they flu off into the distance.</div> <div> We called back all our Pokémon, and Kyle walked off.  I didn't tell him anything.</div> <div> The three of us went back inside the Pokémon Center and spent the rest of the day there and I stayed by Chikorita all the time I even fell asleep by her.</div> <div> My Pokémon that Chikorita had released out awaked me with there talking.</div> <div> "Wha…?" I said.</div> <div> "So you finally woke up?" Jewel said walking into the room with Keith right behind her looking a little happy.</div> <div> "Look at the Pokémon Keith traded me," she said calling out the Pokémon.</div> <div> "Eevee," the Pokémon said.</div> <div> <Eevee An Evolution Pokémon. Eevee is the most unique Pokémon. If you want to know all of the details, Bill the Pokémaniac keeps EV Files hidden away in Celadon Mansion. Keep in mind that Eevee's DNA is not normal. It doesn't evolve on it's own like other Pokémon. It's the only Pokémon able to evolve into one of three different other Pokémon. There are three special elemental stones, Water, Thunder and Fire, which can trigger a change in this tiny Pokémon. It can change into Vaporeon, Flareon or Jolteon. The Leaf Stone and Moon Stone don't affect it. Its new form will keep getting stronger and stronger. ></div> <div> "What did you trade it for?" I asked.</div> <div> "Her Pinsir," he said.</div> <div> "That out of control Pinsir," I yelled.</div> <div> "Yeah but I transferred it home," he said.</div> <div> "Are you going to evolve it?" I asked Jewel.</div> <div> "To what?" she asked.</div> <div> <Eevee can evolve into 3 different forms.  Vaporeon a bubble jet Pokémon. The Water Stone changes Eevee into Vaporeon. Because of it's long, beautiful tail is edged with a fin, many people think it's a mermaid. This talented pokémon and make itself disappear.  Jolteon a lightning Pokémon. The Thunder Stone converts Eevee into Jolteon. This creature collects negatively charged atoms from the atmosphere. It can use them to crash out 10,000 volts of lightning! When Jolteon is mad, the hairs on its body turn into needles that are fired at it's opponent. Powerful moves in this Pokémon's arsenal include Pin Missile and Thunder. Another Electric-type Pokémon would come in handy when facing this Pokémon in battle.  Flareon the flame Pokémon. The Fire Stone transforms Eevee into Flareon. This firey pokémon stores thermal energy from the sun in its body. Causing its body temperature to skyrocket to more than 1,600 degrees. The run for cover! Flareon's Fire powers are scorching! With blazing Fire technique that is released from an internal fire sack, Flareon may be the strongest Eevee evolution of all. Powerful moves in this Pokémon's arsenal include Fire Spin and Flame Thrower. ></div> <div> "I would like a Flareon and I have a Fire Stone," I said pulling it out of my backpack.</div> <div> "Well I am not evolving this beauty of a Pokémon," Jewel said.</div> <div> "Hey didn't you win tickets to the Sensational Sister Show?" Keith asked.</div> <div> "Right," I said pulling out the tickets.  "It says it can admit 3 people and it shows at noon today," I said watching the time on my Pokégear 11:45.  "It is 11:45 I sleep to almost noon," I said.</div> <div> "Yeah, you did," Keith said.</div> <div> "Oh great," I said calling back all my Pokémon.</div> <div> "Ah I see you are awake, your Chikorita is fully healed," Nurse Joy said.  "The show starts in 15 minutes what are you doing here?"</div> <div> "I know," I said running the whole way to the gym with Chikorita and the others behind me.</div> <div> "Here we are Chikorita," I said.</div> <div> ^Good lets go win another badge^ she said.</div> <div> "Wait up," Jewel yelled as she and Keith caught up.</div> <div> "Tickets please," a girl with blonde hair said.</div> <div> "Are you one of the Sensational Sisters?" I asked.</div> <div> "Yes I am," she said looking at the ticket then at us.  "You have a cute Chikorita you can go in."</div> <div> "Thanks," I said taking the ticket stub.</div> <div> The show was interesting it was about a mermaid and some other things but I wasn't paying that much attention.  And when it was over I went down to the sisters to challenge them.</div> <div> "Hello I am Chris Shockley and I want to," I was interrupted.</div> <div> "Do you have any water Pokémon," they asked.</div> <div> "Yes," I said releasing Bubbles.</div> <div> "Wow a nice Marril," they said.</div> <div> "Uhh…excuse me," I said.</div> <div> They stopped looking at Bubbles.</div> <div> "Yes," they said.</div> <div> "I came here to challenge the gym leaders," I said.</div> <div> "Ohh, we thought you were a friend of one of our friends," the blonde sister said.</div> <div> "No," I said.</div> <div> "Well you are as cute as she described him," the blue haired sister said.</div> <div> "I know but I am not him," I said.</div> <div> "Fine lets battle," the black head said.</div> <div> We walked over to the pool that had platforms for Pokémon who couldn't swim.</div> <div> "We are Cerulean City's Sensational Sisters," they said.</div> <div> "Yeah well I am Chris Shockley's Sensational only child," I said.</div> <div> "Right…okay one on one Pokémon match," the blonde head said.</div> <div> "Go," I was interrupted.</div> <div> "Ma Marril," Bubbles said.</div> <div> "Huh?" I said turning on my translator.</div> <div> ^Can I fight this match.  I know Chikorita has the advantage. ^ Bubbles said.</div> <div> "Okay I guess," I said looking at Chikorita.</div> <div> ^Yeah go for it^ she said.</div> <div> ^Thanks Chikorita^ Bubbles said diving into the water.</div> <div> "Let start," I yelled.</div> <div> "Okay go Dewgong," they said throwing Dewgongs Pokéball.</div> <div> "Dew," the Pokémon said.</div> <div> "What Pokémon is that?" I said pulling out my Pokédex.</div> <div> <Dewgong A Sea Lion Pokémon. Seel's stats are doubled, even tripled after evolving into Dewgong. Its body is slimmer and longer and it's attacks twice as strong. This is one of those evolutions when stats jump up so much. Stores thermal energy in its body. Swims at a steady 8 knots even in intensely cold waters, with its special Rest technique, Dewgong can bring itself back to full health, but then it will to skip two turns in battle! ></div> <div> "Bubbles use Double-Edge," I yelled.</div> <div> "Dewgong, Take Down," the sisters yelled.</div> <div> The two Pokémon collided with each other and bounced off.</div> <div> "Bubbles jump on the platform," I yelled.</div> <div> "Stop it with Ice Beam," the sisters yelled.</div> <div> Before Bubbles could land on the platform Dewgong froze it.  Bubbles slipped and fell flat on her face.</div> <div> "Come on Bubbles," Jewel yelled.</div> <div> "Yeah," Keith yelled.</div> <div> "Marril," she yelled as she jumped up and started ice-skating on the platform.</div> <div> "Dewgong Aurora Beam," the sisters yelled.</div> <div> "Bubbles stop show-boating and use Bubblebeam," I yelled.</div> <div> She tried to stop but tripped and fell off landing in the water the Aurora Beam missed.</div> <div> "What is wrong with Bubbles?" I said.</div> <div> "Maybe it wants to join with the sisters," Jewel said.</div> <div> "But I have a badge to win," I said to Jewel.</div> <div> "That Marril is so cute," one of the sisters said.</div> <div> "Hey are we battling or showing off our Pokémon," I yelled.</div> <div> "Fine Dewgong Headbutt," one sister yelled.</div> <div> "Bubbles Ice Beam," I yelled.</div> <div> Bubbles exploded out of the water and started to do backflips as Dewgong jumped up about to hit Bubbles but she let out a big Ice Beam attack knocking Dewgong back into the water.  She was frozen.</div> <div> "I guess I win," I said.</div> <div> "Dewgong return," they said calling back Dewgong.</div> <div> They walked over to where Chikorita, Bubbles and I were standing.</div> <div> "You ask him," the black head said to the blonde head.</div> <div> "Ask him what?" Jewel and Keith said at the same time.</div> <div> "To trade us Pokémon," they said.</div> <div> "Trade what?" I asked confused.</div> <div> "Your Marril," she asked.</div> <div> "What?  Why?" I asked.</div> <div> "Because it is sooooo cuuuuttttteee," the blonde said.</div> <div> "So am I," Keith said.</div> <div> "Maybe you should ask Marril," Jewel said after punching Keith in the arm.</div> <div> ^Yes I would love to it has always been my dream can I go please please pretty please with a cherry on top ^ Bubbles pleaded with me.</div> <div> "I guess," I said.</div> <div> ^Wow!  Thanks you are the best trainer ever^ she said.</div> <div> "What Pokémon do I get?"
