I said putting on my shoes.</div> <div> "Because today is Poké-Valentine Day," he said with a glow in his eyes.  "Today is the day I can feel it."</div> <div> "Feel what?" I said still confused.</div> <div> "One of us is going to get a girl man," he said.</div> <div> "Listen you are-" he cut me off.</div> <div> "No you listen," he said almost yelling.  "Jewel man, she likes you."</div> <div> "Could you say that any louder?"</div> <div> "Okay just listen.  I told Jewel and Chikorita that we were going to stock up on supplies."</div> <div> "You also told me that," I said.</div> <div> "Yeah, but were not.  We are going to get use some Poké-Valentine gifts," he said.</div> <div> "One for me so I can give it to Jewel, and one for you so you can give it to…Chikorita," I said laughing.  "I didn't know humans could have those kinds of feelings for a Pokémon."</div> <div> "Quit it okay," he said getting angry.</div> <div> "Okay," I said lacing my shoe and getting up we walked out the Pokémon Center and headed for the store.</div> <div> It was a nice day out with the sea breeze from the Vermillion harbor blowing.  We reached the store in five minutes; there were a lot of guys and girls at the store shopping for gifts for their girlfriends and boyfriends.</div> <div> "At last," a man that looked like he was in his late forties said running through the isle, he wasn't watching where he was going and crashed into Keith.  "Ouff."</div> <div> "Oww, get off me," Keith muffled voice yelled from under the guy.</div> <div> "Sorry," he said getting off Keith.</div> <div> "What is your hurry?" Keith said standing up.</div> <div> "The girl I have liked since I was 15 said if I got her the perfect gift for Poké-Valentine Day she might go out with me."</div> <div> "Aren't you like forty?" Keith said.</div> <div> "Yes so!" he said.</div> <div> "Most people don't obsess with a girl for that long," Keith said.</div> <div> "You little," the man said getting ready to punch Keith for insulting him.</div> <div> "Your gift is broken," I quickly pointed out.</div> <div> "Huh?" he said looking at the broken heart.  "NOOOO, this was the last one," he yelled eyes furious.</div> <div> "I don't want to die I'm too young," Keith said starting to cry.  "I haven't even had a girlfriend yet."</div> <div> "I will never ever have the girl that I have been obsessed with for 26 years," the man said starting to cry like Keith.</div> <div> "Great," I said.</div> <div> A crowd of people started to surround them; I couldn't find a way out.</div> <div> "Excuse me," I girl that looked to be about my age came up to Keith and kissed him on the lips like they knew each other.  When she stopped Keith did a handspring stood up and handed her some roses.</div> <div> "Whaa…where did he get the roses?" I wondered out loud.</div> <div> A woman that looked about the same age as the crying man looked at him, he looked up saw her she shook her head and walked away, and he chased after her. The crowed of people left after that to continue there shopping.</div> <div> "This is Chris he is trying to win all the badges in this league," Keith said never taking his eyes off the girl.</div> <div> "Nice to meet you, my name is Gem," she said holding out her hand I shook it.</div> <div> "Do you know Keith?" I asked.</div> <div> "That your name…now I have a name to go with that cute face," she said kissing him again this time on the cheek.</div> <div> "C-c-cch-ri-ri-s were g-g-g-oing to hang out alon-e-e-e-e-"</div> <div> "Yeah I get it," I said getting tired of his stuttering.</div> <div> They left the store and I went to look for something for Jewel.  I found a lot of things roses, chocolate hearts and other things but none of them was anything amazing.</div> <div> "Darn, I need something amazing," I said upset.</div> <div> "Did you say amazing?" a man wearing a cheesy blue blazer and blue pants said appearing out of nowhere.</div> <div> "Who are you?" I said.</div> <div> "Edwards the name and sell is my game," he said in a cheesy cheap salesman voice.</div> <div> "So?" I said like I cared.</div> <div> "I notice you were not happy with the kinds of things in the store, right?" he said.</div> <div> "Yes, but-"</div> <div> "I have the perfect gift for you," he pulled out a pink looking Pokéball.</div> <div> "What is that?" I said taking the Pokéball from him.</div> <div> "It's a Love Ball," he said.</div> <div> "A Love Ball?"</div> <div> "Yes a Love Ball, it is a custom made Pokéball that has a higher capture rate for Pokémon in love," he said.</div> <div> "Is there a Pokémon in it?" I said.</div> <div> "No, but I guaranteed your girlfriend will like it," he said.  "And all for the one easy payment of $300 dollars."</div> <div> "WHAT?" that was expensive.</div> <div> "Who said love was cheap," he said holding out his hands.  "And buy within the next 5 minutes and I will throw in this cool looking necklace for putting the Pokéball on."</div> <div> "Okay," I said paying him and leaving.  I found a nice sized pre-wrapped box to put it in.</div> <div> I headed back to the Pokémon Center to see Jewel and Chikorita sitting outside the Pokémon Center.</div> <div> "What is wrong?" I said walking up to them.</div> <div> "Keith is what is wrong," Jewel said.</div> <div> "Chiko," Chikorita said.  I went to turn on my translator but the gift was in one of my hands preventing me from turning it on.</div> <div> "What's in the box?" Jewel asked.</div> <div> "What is Keith doing in there?" I said ignoring her question.</div> <div> "He said something about a big surprise after running inside with some girl," Jewel said still looking at the box.</div> <div> "Here," I said handing it to her no sense in putting it off any longer.  "Happy Poké-Valentine Day."</div> <div> "Chika?" my Pokémon said confused.</div> <div> "What is wrong?" I said turning on my translator.</div> <div> ^What about me? ^ She said.</div> <div> I had forgotten about her.  </div> <div> "If I got you a gift then all the other Pokémon would want," I said.</div> <div> ^Fine^ she said angrily at me.</div> <div> "Ohh…it's a…what is it?" Jewels ask looking at the Pokéball.</div> <div> "It's a Love Ball," I said.  "It has a better chance at capturing Pokémon who are in love."</div> <div> "Thanks," she said putting the Pokéball on the necklace and putting it around her neck.</div> <div> ^Never get me anything^ Chikorita said.</div> <div> "Guys," Keith said opening the door to the Pokémon Center.  "Guess what?"</div> <div> "What you finally lost it?" I said.</div> <div> "No we are going on a cruise," he said, then noticing the necklace and the Pokéball on Jewel shirt.  "Nice gift Chris," he said looking at the necklace and then winking at me.</div> <div> "Yeah…where is this cruise going anyway and what about my training," I said.</div> <div> "Its goes to a Platinum Island called Lopez Island," Keith said.</div> <div> "The Platinum Islands," I said surprised.</div> <div> ^That is the League Karl is competing in^ Chikorita said.</div> <div> "Wait a minute," Jewel said taking her eyes off the gift.  "Who's paying?"</div> <div> "I am," Gem said walking out from the back.</div> <div> "Who are you?" Jewel said.</div> <div> "This is my girl Gem," Keith said.</div> <div> "Your girl?  But you guys just met," I said.</div> <div> "Love is a very funny thing," Keith said.  "Look at me I get a girlfriend in like 20 minutes and you still haven't asked Jewel out yet."</div> <div> "Hey!"  I said.</div> <div> "Anyway, Gem here has 4 tickets for a love cruise to Lopez Island when I told her about my friends she said she would take us," Keith said.</div> <div> "On such short notice?" Jewel said.</div> <div> "The boat leaves in 20 here are you tickets," Gem said giving Jewel and I the tickets.</div> <div> "We will see you guys there," Keith taking his "girlfriends" arm turned towards the harbor and started walking away.</div> <div> When they were gone Chikorita said something.</div> <div> ^Something isn't right^</div> <div> "What?" I said.</div> <div> ^How can you humans just go out with someone you don't even know^ Chikorita said.</div> <div> "Well Keith is weird," Jewel said.</div> <div> "I have to call the professor to see if he know what island Karl is on," I said walking into the center.</div> <div> I went straight for the phone and dialed Professor Coy's Number.  The phone rang for a while before he picked up.</div> <div> "Hello," he said his face appearing on the vidphone.</div> <div> "Hi profess-,"</div> <div> "I'm not here right now and I won't be back for a week…" the recording kept going at the end I hung up.  The professor wasn't at the lab there was no way of knowing where if Karl was even on Lopez Island.</div> <div> We got our stuff together and headed for the ship.  Vermillion harbor was huge.  We searched for what seemed like a long time before we found the ship.</div> <div> "I can see why it took us so long," Jewel said looking at the ship.</div> <div> "It's the smallest one here," I said.</div> <div> ^It's a piece of crap look at it, it is rusty and looks like it is about to fall apart^ Chikorita of course.</div> <div> "Excuse me," a female voice said.  We turned around to see a girl dressed in a sailor suit behind us.  "Are you riding the S.S Rocket."</div> <div> "Yeah I think," I said pulling out my ticket.</div> <div> She looked at it for a while before giving it back to me.</div> <div> "Please follow me," she said.</div> <div> ^To your watery grave ^ Chikorita said.</div> <div> "Chikorita," I said in a stern voice.</div> <div> When we boarded the ship Keith and Gem was already on the ship kissing each other.</div> <div> ^Do they have to do that right in front of me? ^ Chikorita said making a sour face.</div> <div> "Hmm…hey you guys made it," Keith said after he stopped kissing Gem.</div> <div> "Good now we may go," Gem said getting up Keith got up right besides her in a flash and they started walking.</div> <div> "Follow us," Keith said.</div> <div> "Great just what we need a love crazed Keith," Jewel said.</div> <div> "And they only meet," I said.</div> <div> ^I will never understand human love^ Chikorita said.</div> <div> When we got to our rooms, well lets just say I was glad it was only a day trip there.</div> <div> "Hey only one big bed?" Jewel said.</div> <div> "How come there is only one bed for the four of us?" I asked.</div> <div> "Umm…the…trip is only for one day so you don't have to worry you don't even have to sleep on it unless you take naps during the day?" Gem said.</div> <div> "Yeah I guess?" I said.</div> <div> "Time for the movie," a man, said he was wearing the same cloths as the girl and looked to be about my age.</div> <div> "What is the movie?" Keith asked.</div> <div> "You will see when you get there," he said.</div> <div> <B>"Attention, Attention,"</B> the loud speakers said.  <B>"This is your captain speaking we will be setting sail at this moment don't miss the movie</B>.<B>"</B></div> <div> While we followed the man to the place where they were playing the movie Keith whispered something in Gem ear and slowed his pace till he caught up with me, when Chikorita saw him coming she slowed her pace until she was with Jewel.</div> <div> "When you going to pop the question?" he said.</div> <div> "What?" I said.</div> <div> <B>"The question," </B>he siad.</div> <div> "Ohh now I remember…what are you doing with Gem?" I said.</div> <div> "What?" he said.  "Kissing her, hey I'm not teaching you how to kiss a girl man."</div> <div> ""Girl man"."</div> <div> "Listen if you don't know how to kiss-"</div> <div> "I mean how can you be going out with someone you just met?" I said.</div> <div> "She told me she thought I looked cute all crying and all and she wanted to go out with me, the rest you know," he said staring off into the sky like he was daydreaming.</div> <div> "You don't even know here!" I said.</div> <div> "That is enough about me what about you and Jewel," he said.  "Nice gift."</div> <div> "What, I will ask her okay?" I said getting pissed off with his persistence.</div> <div> "She likes you she told me herself," he said turning around and giving Jewel the thumbs up, she just looked at him in disgust.</div> <div> "Keith," Gem said in a singsong voice.</div> <div> "What," he said running so fast I didn't even see him leave he just disappeared.</div> <div> "Where here," she said pointing at the door.</div> <div> "Enter," the man said opening the door, for a second I thought I recognize him.</div> <div> "Do I kn-" I started to say until Gem shoved me in the door.</div> <div> Inside there was a small TV with a coffee table and a VCR.</div> <div> "This is the theater?" Jewel said.</div> <div> ^Looks more like Professor Coy's Entertainment Center^ Chikorita said laughing.</div> <div> "This isn't right we get to go on a cruise but we have to watch a movie a cheap thrift piece of crap," Jewel said.</div> <div> "Hey you didn't pay for the cruise so shut up!"  The man said then looking like he did something wrong changed his voice and smiling.  "And watch the movie."</div> <div> We sat down in the chairs proved, Keith and Gem sat next to each other of course, and I sat next to Jewel.</div> <div> ^What's the movie? ^ Chikorita asked laying right between my legs.</div> <div> "Its called…" the man said getting up.</div> <div> "Jewel I need to ask you a question," I said about to ask the question.</div> <div> "Prepare for Trouble because we weren't in the last Chapter," the man said.</div> <div> "Make it double because they steal like Napster," Gem said getting up and running over to the man.</div> <div> "Wait isn't that Team Rockets motto?" Keith said.</div> <div> "Yes you BOY," Gem said.</div> <div> "What but-" Jewel said as a net appeared out of nowhere and covered us.</div> <div> "This is your captain speaking we just caught us some new Pokémon," Melissa said appearing from the back dressed in a captain suit.</div> <div> "What?"  Jewel said.</div> <div> "How could you do this to me?" Keith said eyes watering.</div> <div> "Shut up baby," Gem said.</div> <div> "Did you guys do the motto?" Melissa asked.</div> <div> "Yes," Matthew said.</div> <div> "Oh okay…then now we take your Pokémon and throw you over board," Melissa said laughing at the thought.</div> <div> "Chikorita Cut Attack," I yelled.</div> <div> "She cant she's knocked out," Jewel said.</div> <div> "Why oh why?" Keith kept saying.</div> <div> "Keith snap out of it," Jewel said about to slap Keith until we were electrocuted.</div> <div> "Ahh," Jewel yelled.</div> <div> "What…was…that…?" I gasped.</div> <div> "My Raichu," Gem said, then turned and looks at Keith.  "Keith you can join me you know we can live happy ever after," she said in a sweet voice.</div> <div> "Keith no," I said.</div> <div> "I guess I could," he said.</div> <div> "Good," Gem said opening the net and letting him out.</div> <div> I tried to crawl out behind him but got shocked again by the Raichu.  Gem took Keith somewhere where while Melissa tied us up and took all our Pokémon.</div> <div> "Okay now," Melissa said pushing us slowly down the gangplank.</div> <div> "You walk the plank, " Matthew said.</div> <div> "Chris," Jewel said.</div> <div> "Jewel don't worry," I said worried.</div> <div> "Wait," I heard Keith voice as he appeared from the back he was wearing a Team Rocket suit.  "I want to see this."</div> <div> "Keith if I ever survive this your going to pay," Jewel yelled.</div> <div> "Ha ha ha ha now there four members in our group," Gem said.</div> <div> "Good work rookie," Matthew said.</div> <div> "Good work, I did better that you three knuckle heads wait till the Boss hears this," Gem said.  "I'll be promoted for sure."</div> <div> "You didn't do all the work we came up with the idea," Matthew said.</div> <div> All the time this was happening Keith was just standing there staring at me, he winked then pulled out a Pokéball and threw it.</div> <div> "Beedrill," his Pokémon said.</div> <div> "Huh?" the idiots said turning around to see us free.</div> <div> "But how?" Melissa said.</div> <div> "I did," Keith, said ripping off his Rocket suit to reveal his old cloths.</div> <div> "Big deal its not like they have their Pokémon," Gem said.</div> <div> "Yeah go!" Melissa and Matthew said throwing there Pokéballs.</div> <div> "Primeape."</div> <div> "Arcanine."</div> <div> "Beedrill double Cut," Keith yelled.</div> <div> "Raichu Thunderbolt," Gem yelled.</div> <div> "Raaaaiiiichuuu," the Pokémon yelled releasing the devastating Thunderbolt instantly knocking out Beedrill.</div> <div> "Return," Keith called back his Pokémon then threw out his last two Pokéballs.</div> <div> "Free."</div> <div> "Pinsir."</div> <div> "Flamethrower," Melissa yelled.</div> <div> "Chris," Jewel yelled, I turned around to see here grab her two Pokéballs and throw them.</div> <div> "Hya?"</div> <div> "Vee."</div> <div> "Water Gun," Jewel yelled.</div> <div> Here Staryu's Water Gun intercepted the Flamethrower Attack.</div> <div> "What?" Melissa said.</div> <div> "I'll handle this Thunderbolt that Staryu Raichu," Gem yelled.</div> <div> I ran over to where Jewel was and grabbed my Pokéballs.</div> <div> "Eevee Quick Attack," Jewel yelled.</div> <div> Eevee ran as fast as it could and tackled Raichu knocking the Pokémon off balance causing the Thunderbolt to miss.</div> <div> "Okay now it's my turn," I threw three of my Pokéballs.</div> <div> "Chika."</div> <div> "Venonat."</div> <div> "Rhy."</div> <div> "Okay Chikorita Razor Leaf Primeape," I yelled.</div> <div> Chikorita released a flurry of leafs that Primeape jumped over and tackled Chikorita then started Comet Punching her.</div> <div> "Rhy help out," I yelled.</div> <div> "You too Butterfree," Keith yelled.</div> <div> Rhy Tackled Primeape, as the Pokémon recovered from the attack both Butterfree and Shadow used Psybeam knocking the Pokémon out.</div> <div> "Return," Matthew said calling back his Pokémon.</div> <div> "Gem, I can't believe you would do something like this but I'm sorry," Keith said.  "Everyone Tackle."</div> <div> All the Pokémon tackled Team Rocket sending them flying away.</div> <div> "Keith," Jewel said in a sweet voice.</div> <div> "Yes?" he said.</div> <div> "I'm sorry," she said hugging him.  "And if you ever do something like that again I will hurt you really, really bad," she said squeezing harder.</div> <div> "Okay," he managed to force out.</div> <div> "Chika,"</div> <div> "What," I turned on my translator.</div> <div> ^Who's steering the boat? ^ Chikorita said.</div> <div> "Uhh," I said.</div> <div> "Don't worry I will," Keith said taking off towards the controls.</div> <div> "Ohh no you don't," Jewel said following him.</div> <div> There was something I forgot,  "Hmmm…Wait I forgot Jewel I needed to ask you something."</div> <div> <B>To Be Continued…</B></div> <div> Read the continuation on the story in The Pokémon Adventure Special One.</div> </td> </tr></table></body>
