Now Gold is going to take on The Sun Wu-Kung Gym and win The Umbra badge. </div> <div> Silver and I were sitting togeter at the pokemon center eating breakfest. "Gold what are we going to do after you earn your eight badge? The Dream League Competetion is still months away from now" she said. I smiled. "Well I could go to the Fuchsia, Cinnibar and Viridian Gyms and battle there. That would probably be some of the best training I could get before the competition. After that there will still be some time left. I'm not sure of what to do with it. </div> <div> Mabey we could decied on something togther" I said. "Is there anything we forgot to do after the recent Deciver insident?" Asked Silver. "Oh shoot. I should contact Kyle and let him know where ok" I said. "But Honey , Kyle dosen't have any pokegear. How are you going to get in touch with him" Said Silver. She had a good point. Kyle would be traveling so I would have no way to contact him. "Well I'm sure we'll run into him agine...Won't he be suprised to see us. He probaly thinks where dead after seeing the explosion" I said. "We would be dead of it wasn't for Lugia. I wish there was a way to thank him" Said Silver. "I'm sure he already know's how thankfull we are." I checked the clock and saw that it was about 8:00am. </div> <div> "The Gym should be open now. We should get going. After I'm done battleing I'll treat you to a movie" I said. "I'd really enjoy that" Said Silver. We left the pokemon center togeter and we walked very closley togeter. After the incadent Our love for each other had only grown stronger and we loved to spend as much time togeter as possible. Even thought we where only 16 we already makeing plans to be married once we both reached the legal age. Both of our parents approved of our relation ship and had no objections to our plans. I was sligtly glad that Kyle wasen't around anymore becuse It just felt better being in a smaller group. It did kind of hetict when we had about 6 People other then the two of us tagging along. I diden't mind Brian becuse he respected our privacy and spend alot of time off on his own. </div> <div> Not that Silver and I did anything inopreate to mention but it was nice spending time togter with no one to bother us. After a few minutes of walking we found the gym and enterd it. </div> <div> Inside I stoped for a second to take a look at the list of winning trainers. The gym was farly new and wanted to see if anyone had one yet. a quick glance of the list confirmed for me that </div> <div> no one had. For a second I wonderd just how good the gym leader was. Well No matter how good he is I'd have to be better. This was the perfect chance to earn the last badge I was required to and then I could continue to earn more badges just for the heck of it. I woulden't waste an opertuneaty like this. Not now, Not ever. One of the gym trainers came over and took me to the challange hall. I guessed that I would be the first person to win this badge </div> <div> *********************************************************************** </div> <div> I watched as Marill blasted a Houndor with water gun. The Houndor Strugled to keeps it's footing and slipped on the puttle that had formed from the water. The Houndor fell to the ground hard and it diden't get up.The Gym Leader Xinum Di-cang nodded in approval. </div> <div> "That was most impresseve. You defeated two of my gym trainers useing only three of your pokemon. And they only got minorly hurt. You are the first trainer who has done this well... </div> <div> Mabey you can actualy provide me with a decent challange." He said. </div> <div> I nodded. "I sure hope so" I said simply. I returned Marill to his pokeball. </div> <div> "Ok I'v finished to requirments for challangeing you.. Are you ready to battle?" I asked him. </div> <div> Xinum nodded and picked up a wooden sword. "Very well then. This shall be a 4 on 4 battle. Both of us can switch pokemon as desired. Now Perapre to Lose" Xinum threw a pokeball and a Houndoom appereard. It let out a low howl and bared it's teath. "Go Squirtle" I called as I threw out a pokeball. Squirtle appeared and glared at the Houndoom. Xinum waved the wooden sword and Houndoom lept forward. "Squirtle Bubble beam" Squirtle exhaled a stream of bubbles. The Bubbles hit the Houndoom and popped. They diden't do much damage but they did councal out most of it's momentum. The Houndoom slamed into Squirtle causeing Squirle to fall over and skid accross the arena becuse of his slick shell. "Use a water gun on the floor" I called. Squirle fired a water gun at the floor. The impact of the stream of water lifted him high into the air. "Use Spinning Tackle" Squitle withdrew into his shell and began to spin and he span into the Houndoom which only seemd to annoy the large black dog. Xinum waved the sword in a strange patteren and the Houndoom tried to bite squitle but to no avile. The shell was to hard for that to work. "Now Squirtle Hydro pump" Squitle had learned that move during training and I had found that it worked best close up so I had waited intell the Houndoom was so close that he woulden't have a chance of dodgeing. </div> <div> Streams of water fired out of the five holes in squitles shell. One of the stream going right into the Houndroom's mouth and another one hitting it on the side. The Houndoom gasped and tried to spit squitle away from it but the water in it's mouth was makeing that next to impossible. It diden't take long before the barrage of water overcame the Houndoom and it's eyes rooled back and it fell over. Finnly it's jaws opend and squitle blasted away from it and popped back out of his shell. "Good job Squitle" I called. Xinum face turned red and it looked like he was about to scream. "Not many people manage to defeat my first pokemon and even fewer make it past my second" he sputterd out as he returned the Houndoom to it's pokeball. He quickly sent out a Umbreon. "Squirtle Return, Exellent Work.. Go Heracross" </div> <div> Heracross and Umbreon stared at each other for a few seconds and I wonderd why Umbreon hadn't attacked yet...Then I noteced that Xinum haden't moved his sword.. That sword must be how he signals his pokemon to attack.. If I could take advantage of that somehow It would be very easy to win. Heracross diden't really know any attacks that would do that so I shelfed that Idea for later. I decied to take advantage of Xinum's tardyness and attack "Heracross Rock Smash" Heracross flew forward and slamed one of his claws into the Umbreon in a karate chop like move that could actual break some rocks. The Umbreon </div> <div> let out a startled gasp and quickly shock off the attack like it was only a petty annoince. But I knew better. That attack had to have hurt especial sence it was super affective.Xinum made a sidewase cutting motion with his sword and the Umbreon's tail suddenly turned silver. The Umberon whiped around and stuck Heracross with it's tail. Heracross let out an "ufff" as he stagerd from the blow. "Heracross Counter" Heracross hit the Umbreon with a Punch and the Umbreon stagerd back twice as far as Heracross had. Xinum made another sharp cut with the sword only this time diagonaly. "Heracross Endure" I called out quickly as the Umbreon opend it's mouth. Energy crackeld around it's mouth for a second and then it suddenly fired a large orange beam at Heracross. Heracross had brached himself for the hit and went sliding backwards. the beam dissapated after a few second and Heracross and the Umbreon both puffed from effore. I knew Heracross was close to fainting but the Endure had helped him hold on. The Umbreon would be unable to attack for a few seconds besue it had used Hyper beam. "Heracross use Return" Heracross kicked the Umbreon in the gut. The Umbreon's eyes flared and then rolled back and it fell to the floor. Return did more damage the more heracross was hurt and becuse it was supereffect agents dark type the Umbreon diden't have a chance of lasting after it got hit with that. Xinum looked like was positivly going to explode. </div> <div> I was suprised that he diden't yell when he returned his pokemon and selceted another one. </div> <div> "No trainer has yet to make it past my third pokemon. You shall be no exception" He said. He threw the pokeball and a Sneasel appeard. "Ok Heracross return.That was Exellent. Go Charmeleon." I decied now would be a good time to take advantage of my idea. "Charmeleon Smoke screen" Charmeleon opened his mouth and belched out a thick wall of smoke that inglufed the arean. </div> <div> He could see thought the smoke perfectly but the Sneasel coulden't. This ment that the Sneasel coulden't see Xinum's sword commands too. "Charmeleon Flamethrower" I could feal the heat level in the gym rise as Charmeleon attacked with his flamethrower. He keep attacking intell the smoke cleared. He stoped for a second then let out a Victory Flamethower. The Sneasel lay on the floor and I could see burn marks on it. Xinum returned his pokemon then started at me. He seemed both mad and relutent to contiue at the same time. He knew that three out of my four pokemon were still fully able to battle but it was safe to assume that I woulden't use Heracross becuse of how much damage he had taken. He started at Pikachu in preticular and seemed warry of him. "THIS BATTLE ISEN'T OVER YET" He yelled as he threw a pokeball. A Mukrow appeard and I smiled. "Well It might as well be" Pikchu jumped into the arean with out haveing to be told then let out a massive bolt of electricy right away. The eletricty stuck the Mukrow and fainted it right away. Pikachu's special attack was doubled becused he wore a small light ball on a string. This cuppled with his extraordinary speed and power ment that he could normaly easly take any pokemon that had a weekness to him When ever he used a eletric or a psychic attack. </div> <div> Xinum now looked total ticked off. He quickly tossed me a Umbra badge and began to rant and rave. "Um thanks for the badge gotta go" I said. I grapped Silver and we ran out of the arean before Xinum could direct his rage at us. "Man he freaks me out" I said. Silver nooded in agrement. We stoped at the entrence to the gym and I noticed that one of the gym trainers was adding my name to the list of winning trainers. He smiled at Me as I went to left the build. </div> <div> "It's about time someone beat Xinum. His ego was getting a little bit to big." He said happly. </div> <div> I left the gym and examaned my new badge. "It's only a matter of time now intell I enter the dream league compatition" I said happly. I placed the badge alongside my others and Silver and I walked towards the pokemon center with our arms linked. "So which Movie would you like to see?" I asked her. </div> <div> *********************************************************************** </div> <div> Xinum sat in a dark room infront of a computer screen fumeing over his loss. "What do you have to report?" Said a picture of Gary on the screen. "I have lost my first battle here at the gym" Said Xinum. Gary mearly nodded. "Who won?" Asked Gary. Xinum took a look at a copy of the list of winning trainers and read the name of the list. "Gold Star from Pallet town" </div> <div> He said. Gary smiled a evil smile. "I should have know it would be him. If anyone could beat you It'd be Gold. I woulden't worry about it too much. He was taught by Ash Ketchum after all. Besieds he has his uses. Like takeing out tose Annoying Decivers. Keep all of your oprtives away from him. They'll only get arrested if they try and steal his pokemon. Keep me informed" He said. "Yes Gary" Said Xinum as he bowed to the picture. The screen flickerd out and Xinum glared.
