Wendy asked.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Correct," said Brett.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"So you guys are just here to lose again?" Katie said.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"If you guys are going to have a battle, can you please go outside?" Cindy said.  "I don't want my gym getting messed up."</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Okay some help you are," said Katie.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Outside, all of you," said Cindy.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Yes mommy," said Wendy as they all went outside except for Cindy.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"So," Erica said.  "We are here for a battle and this time, we will win."</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Don't count on it," said Wendy.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Alright go Nidoran," said Katie.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"That is the Pokémon you choose?" said Erica.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"That Pokémon is pathetic," said Brett.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Don't be making fun of my Nidoran like that," said Katie.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Go Ekans," said Erica.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B><Ekans A Snake Pokémon. Ekans is not a great Pokémon to keep around the house, especially if you have younger brothers and sisters. When thrown into the air, Ekans will rotate at high speeds, and almost like a wheel, will run over it's opponent. Uses leer and screech to lower enemy defense, then moves in for the kill with poison attacks. This Pokémon moves silently and stealthily. Eats the eggs of birds such as Pidgey and Spearrow whole. > </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Go Paras," said Brett.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B><Paras A Mushroom Pokémon. Likes to live in dark and damp places. It has insect-like claws and a rare mushroom on it's back. Its relationship with the mushrooms is an example of symbiosis. The mushroom-like pods take nutrients from their bug host. In return, the mushrooms shoot out clouds of Stun Spores to stun almost any opponent while Paras attack opponents with bug-like claws for frontal assaults. When it isn't fighting, Paras burrows underground to suck tree roots. ></B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Man," said Wendy, "They know how to capture Pokémon." </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"We've been always catching Pokémon," said Brett.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Ok then I choose Rattata," said Wendy.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Ekans Tackle," said Erica.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Nidoran, Rattata, let's try a double Scratch on Paras," said Wendy.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Nidoran," said Nidoran running up to Paras.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Rattata," said the Pokémon running up to Paras.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Paaaaraaas," said the Pokémon in pain.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Ekans," said the Pokémon Tackling Rattata off Paras.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Rattata Hyper Fang," said Wendy.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Rattata," said the Pokémon using Hyper Fang.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Ekkaaanns," said the Pokémon in pain.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Nidoran use Poison Sting," said Katie.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Paras jump over the Poison Sting and us a Spore," said Brett.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Nido," said the Pokémon sleeping.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Nidoran please get up," said Katie.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Paras, Scratch the Rattata," said Brett.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Ekans use Tackle on Rattata," said Erica.  The two Pokémon was coming close to Rattata.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Rattata jump," said Wendy.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Rattata," said the Pokémon.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Rattata," said the Pokémon jumping up in the air.  Paras then came by and Scratched Ekans, because of Rattata jumping.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Nidoran, Nidoran, you got to get up," said Katie going over to Nidoran and shaking it.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Paras use Scratch on the Rattata," said Brett.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Paras," said the Pokémon running.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Rattata jump right on top of the Paras and use Bite," said Wendy.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Rattata," said the Pokémon who jumped right on top of Paras, and then used Bite.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"PPPPPPaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrraaaaaassssss," said the Pokémon in pain.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Ekans Tackle that Rattata off Paras," said Erica.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Rattata move out of the way," said Wendy.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Rattata?" said the Pokémon confused, and then turned around and Ekans Tackled it.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"RRRatttttttatttta," yelled the Pokémon in pain.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Come on Nidoran," said Katie still shaking Nidoran.  "You have to get up for Rattata."</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Ekans," said the Pokémon going straight for Nidoran, but Nidoran soon got up and saw Ekans coming straight at her.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Nido," said the Pokémon going for a Horn Attack as soon as she got up.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Good job Nidoran," said Katie.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Hey look Nidoran is evolving," said Wendy.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Oh cool," said Katie.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"What is that Pokémon going to evolve too?" said Erica.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B> "Maybe into… a Pikachu," said Brett rhyming.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Nidorina," said the Pokémon.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Yes it's a Nidorina," said Katie pulling out her Pokémon.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B><Nidorina A Poison Pin Pokémon. The female's horn develops slowly. Prefers physical attacks such as clawing and biting. Be sure to have learnt them all before you evolve it into Nidoqueen using the Moonstone. ></B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"A Moonstone?" said Katie.  "Oh man I just remember that I need a Moon Stone evolve my Nidorina!"</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Well Katie I have a-" said Wendy who was interrupted.</B></div> <div> <B>"No I don't want to talk about it right now," said Katie.  "It's time to finish this battle."</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Oh this isn't over yet," said Erica.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"We're about as smart as a vet," said Brett.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Ekans, it's time to do our secret weapon," said Erica.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Ekans," said the Pokémon nodding her head.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Oh my gosh," said Wendy.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"It's evolving," said Brett.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"You mean to tell me you didn't know anything about this Brett?" Katie asked.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Erica never told me anything about this," said Brett.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"What you mean to say that I didn't tell you that I trained my Ekans well enough for it to evolve?" Erica asked.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"No," said Brett.</B></div> <bR> <div> Flashback of Erica and Brett…</div> <bR> <div> <B>"Come on Shaq, slam that ball!" said Brett looking at the TV.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"You still watching the Lakers?" said Erica turning off the T.V.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Hey," Brett said.  "I was watching that!"</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Well I've came here to tell about whenever we have trouble catching Pokémon," Erica explained.  "I have my secret weapon."</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"But Erica it's only a week till we start Team Alpha," Brett said.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Yes I know, but listen," said Erica.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"My dad and have been training our Ekans," Erica explain.  "So my dad and I trained it so that whenever we have a hard time catching Pokémon, that it would-"</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Yes, yes that's nice," said Brett turning on the T.V and looking at the game on it.  "Oh, this is all your fault, I miss Shaq shoot a three pointer!"</B></div> <bR> <div> Flashback ended…</div> <bR> <div> <B>"I don't remember that, said Brett.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Well I was trying to tell you, but you wouldn't listen," said Erica.  They both started arguing.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Wendy, do you think we should stop them?" Katie asked.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"No," said Wendy.  "While they are arguing let's take our Pokémon and make a run for it."</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"But I can't do it," said Katie.  "Hey you guys, remember we have a match to do."</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Right," Erica and Brett said.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"YOU IDIOT… WHY DID YOU DO that," said Wendy embarrass.  "Ha, ha, you guys can continue."</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Rattata," said the Pokémon getting up.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Arbok," said the Pokémon.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B><Arbok A Cobra Pokémon. Arbok is even worse than Ekans. It takes the shape of a cobra. It is rumored that the ferocious warning markings on its belly differ from area to area. Good speed rating. If successful, its Glare technique will paralyze an enemy. Arbok's Screech lowers an enemy's defenses. ></B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Man, this Pokémon sounds tough," said Katie.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Arbok, use Bite on Rattata," said Erica.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Arr," said the Pokémon.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Nidorina," said Katie "Help out Rattata."</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Nido," said the Pokémon using Double Team splitting into three.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Wow Double Team," said Wendy.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Now, two of you try Poison Sting on Arbok," said Katie.  "And the other one, use Thunderbolt.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Rattata," said the Pokémon barley dodging the attack.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrbbbbboooook," said the Pokémon getting hit by the Poison Sting.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"NNNNNNNNiiiiiiiiiiidddddooooooo," said the Pokémon charging up for Thunderbolt.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Let it out," said Katie.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"NNNiiiiddddooooo," said the Pokémon letting go of the Thunderbolt.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"PPPPPaaaaras," said the Pokémon getting hit by Thunderbolt.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Katie don't you know that those moves aren't strong on those Pokémon?" said Wendy.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Yes," said Katie.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Rattata, all Nidoran" Wendy said.  "Use Thunderbolt on the Arbok and Paras."</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"RRRRRRaaaattaaaa," said the Pokémon charging up the Thunderbolt.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Niiidddddoo," said the Pokémon charging up the Thunderbolt.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Arbok Tackle," said Erica.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Paras Scratch," said Brett,</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Arbok," said the Pokémon Tackling one of the Nidorina, which was the wrong one.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Paras," said the Pokémon scratching Nidorina, which was the wrong one.  Nidorina and Rattata let out their Thunderbolt.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"PPPPaaaaarrrraaas," said the Pokémon in pain.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Arrrrr," said the Pokémon in pain.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Okay now charge up for a Thunder," said Katie.  The both Pokémon charged up for a Thunder.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Oh no," said Brett.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"Come on Pokémon get up," said Erica.</B></div> <bR> <bR> <div> To be continue… </div> <bR> <bR> <div> HERE IS CHAPTER 4 OF BEHOLD A DESTINY.  EMAIL ME AT <A HREF="mailto:WHUZUP65@HOTMAIL.COM" TARGET="_top" TITLE="mailto:WHUZUP65@HOTMAIL.COM"><U>WHUZUP65@HOTMAIL.COM</U></A> OR AIM ME AT DAPIKS15 TO TELL ME WHAT YA THINK.
