He rushes into action with an explosive force must unlike the calm fighting style of other lucurs. A little problem has occurred, his attack "surf" is wiped out by the power used when knocking out the ring master. Melenie is surprised at the attack lucur uses next, "tail slam", witch most lucurs learn at lvl 15. The little lucur deals out a devastating blow with "tail slam", obviously because his armor plated tail. Melenie is surprised at the new look to lucur's face, one of pure enjoyment of battle. She thought No, it cant be. This is not the timid little lucur I saved from that evil man. It must be vengeance against his taunters, yes that's it.................. I hope. By now lucur has sent all fifteen enemies flying, there was something very special about this little lucur, something indescribable.... they must leave before the ring master regains his senses! They rush out of the tent, Melenie always to remember this day to the rest of her time on this earth............................................ </div> <bR> <div> Melenie woke to a fine, sunny morning, one year from the incident. She grabbed lucur's three pronged head and shook him awake jokingly. "Come on, we have things to do today! We've known each other for a long time, and now mom's said we could go on an exploring and healing trip! Don't you remember? Any way, I have first go and get my trainer's license. "Lucur grumbled and snuggled back into the covers. "We cant sleep late today!" said Melenie "Pr. Curumbie said he wanted to take a look at you any way." There was a pitiful whine as lucur jumped out of bed none too enthusiastically. With that she grabbed him by the arm and dragged him out the door. </div> <bR> <bR> <div> What will happen to our heroes in Pr. Curumbie's lab? We join our stars as they find out that lucur is one of these variations. "Where did you get this pokémon!?!" asked the surprised Pr. Curumbie. "I rescued him from a traveling circus where he was being mistreated, why do you ask?" answered a perplexed Melenie. "So you don't know were he came from?" said the professor with a sigh of clear disappointment. "No, and why does it matter, as long as lucur's in top condition, I'm fine with him," she said. All this time Lucur was having a growing interest in the conversation, mainly because it was about him! "Have you ever heard of the fabled red Gyarados?" at this point she shook her head utterly confused, "Well, its a strange and extremely rare color variation in Gyaradoses. Some say that only one can exist on this earth at a time, which might be just a rumor. Anyways, what we have here is the same type of color variation in this lucur," At this moment lucur ears would have perked up, if he had any ears. "That doesn't matter to me, all that matters is that lucur is in top condition," said an exasperated Melenie. At this time the professor's voice almost became a whisper "Oh, he's in more than top condition, more than most could comprehend. With this color variation there seems to be awesome power, one that you can't let fall into evil clutches," Now she sat transfixed and very overwhelmed. Then, out of nowhere, Pr. Curumbie handed her a card and stated "Here is your trainer's license, thank you for listening to my ramblings," </div> <bR> <div> Melenie and lucur staggered out the door into the bright, sunny day. Lucur gives Melenie look that meant Are we going or not? Melinie ran ahead and shouted "Race you to the house!" ...... So began their epic journey. </div> <div> What will happen, who will they meat, what will they do on their quest? There were 5 gyms on each island, 10 in all. As in all the leagues you only required 8 badges to enter the finals, which here was the nerno pokémon Olympics. The 4 essential badges on Lenan were the red (fire) badge, the blue (water) badge, the yellow (electric) badge, and the white (normal) badge. The 4 essential badges on Lonan were the green (grass) badge, the orange (ground) badge, the purple (psychic) badge, and the black (dark) badge. The optional badge on Lenan was the physical attack badge, and the optional badge on Lonan was the special attack badge. There was one small island right in the middle that had only one purpose, to host the nerno pokémon olympics........ </div> <div> "OH-NO!" screamed Melenie. Lucur heaved a sigh, she had spotted another Rattata feigning injury so it would get some special treatment. It had been a month since they had set out and she had already a big healer, plus a gullible sucker. They had not had one pokémon battle since they had left home and lucur was clearly disappointed at that, though he didn't let Melenie know. Once he'd defeated the circus performers so easily he'd gotten a craving to do battle. "Hmmmmm, we don't have any food left. I guess I gave most of it to my patients. Who'd of thought there would be so many sick and injured?" she said. Lucur didn't want to tell her about it, he couldn't tell her if he did want to, he couldn't talk! "We'd better get to beegra, the nearest town, to get some food. Did you know it's got the red gym there. I bet we can watch a match when we get there!" Lucur lit up with an idea, Or maybe do more than just watch! They hardly stopped on there journey to beegra, only to have a snack of berries when they found some. They just made it to beegra by night fall. They rushed in to the hotel and asked for a one room. Melenie handed the 10$ to the clerk and ran up to the room. "Ahhhhh, my aching feet!" she said as she and lucur flopped down onto the bed. Then lucur's and her stomache rumbled "Oh yeah, food!" Melenie called for two sandwiches and two bottles of coke. "That will be 5$ please" mumbled the waiter. "Shmooh, yesh!" said Melenie through a mouthful of PB&J. She swallowed hastily and searched her back pack for a tip, but found no money. "Lucur, we're broke! What will we do?" As she saw lucur lying fast asleep on the bed, "ssssnnnnooooooccckkkk" was the only response. </div> <div> What will our heroes do about their money problem?
