Chapter 1
The Golden Pokemon Adventure
Chapter 1
"The life of a Trainer is an adventure filled with battles, travels and discoveries. You'll need to depend on your Pokemon to see you through the many challenges you'll face, so learn to use them wisely. Though you may not know much when you begin the journey, you can look to friends to teach you lessons along the way." That was Professor Elm's advice to Adam as he prepared for his Pokemon journey the previous day (Sunday.) It was now Monday and time for Adam to begin his journey. He had woken up, watched a bit of TV and then gone over to Prof. Elm's lab to get his first pokemon and be on his way. But his mom just wouldn't let him leave without giving Adam a gift, the Pokegear. It is a map/cell phone/radio all combined in one! Now it's time to follow the early stages of Adam's journey as he enters Elm's lab.
"Ah, nice to see you again, Adam", said Prof. Elm; a middle-aged man with brown hair and of average height. Adam was about 5'3, weighed about 110 lbs. and had brown hair/green eyes. "Before you begin on your journey, there is a favour I would like to ask of you. Would you visit Mr.Pokemon in Cherrygrove City to pick up a little something for me?" "Sure, Prof.", answers Adam, "I would love to meet the famous Mr.Pokemon!" "That's good. I will let you have one of my pokemon-Chikorita, Cyndaquil, or Totodile-to keep you company while you run this errand." "Thanx, Prof! That would be awesome!" "Alright, Adam, which pokemon do you want?" "Ummm...I think I'll take Chikorita!" "Alright. Good choice. Like Bulbasaur, Chikorita is a grass-type that is strong agianst rock, ground, and water types, and is weak against fire, bug, poison, and flying-types." "Wow thanx Prof!"
AUTHOR'S NOTE
