I'm gonna be late to get my starter pokemon from the prof.!"</div> <div> "Don't worry honey, your father picked one out for you an hour and a half ago."</div> <div> "WHAT!!! does Dad know what one I wanted?"</div> <div> "Of course! You only talked about it ever since you turned ten!"</div> <div> (phew!) </div> <div> "Jenna!" </div> <div> "Yes Dad!"</div> <div> "Breakfast!"</div> <div> "Coming! Did you get my Inferno?"</div> <div> "Yes, I got your Charma-"</div> <div> "It's name is Inferno Dad"</div> <div> "Okay"</div> <div> Jenna races down the stars, almost tripping over a sleeping Pikachu on </div> <div> her way down.</div> <div> Jenna looked around the room and found her mother, Misty Ketchum, </div> <div> and her seadra making breakfast. Her father, the famous Ash Ketchum, </div> <div> was sitting at the table fiddling with a pokeball.</div> <div> "You have everything packed? Sleeping bag, 5 potions, 5 repels, 7 pokeballs, </div> <div> the pokemon food that Brock made for you, the sheet of pokemon watching </div> <div> rules that Tracy gave you…"</div> <div> " Yes Daddy! I have everything except…"</div> <div> Jenna walked over to her father, gave him a kiss on the cheek and snatched the pokeball from his hands. </div> <div> "…my pokemon. Go Charmander!"</div> <div> In a flash of red energy an orange lizard like animal appeared.</div> <div> "Char, Charmander!"</div> <div> "Hello Charmander," said Jenna, " How about a nickname?"</div> <div> "Char!"</div> <div> " How about Inferno?"</div> <div> Charmander nodded its head.</div> <div> " Jenna,"</div> <div> "Yeah dad?"</div> <div> "Prof. Gary Oak wanted you to have this special pokedex that translates what </div> <div> your pokemon are saying."</div> <div> "Cool! Okay Inferno, say anything!"</div> <div> "Char? Charmander Char Char Mander!"</div> <div> "huh? I want to be a millionaire!"</div> <div> "Very funny Inferno!" laughed Jenna.</div> <div> CH 2</div> <div> After Jenna had said her goodbyes and opened her presents, (which were: 5 Great balls, a backpack, a basket for her bike and $50.)</div> <div> she set off on her pokemon journey. Inferno, Jenna's Charmander, was ridding in her bike basket as they both rode in the direction of Viridian city.</div> <div> " Char Man der" sighed Inferno.</div> <div> " pokedex, translation please."</div> <div> "ahhhhhhhhhhhhh"</div> <div> Jenna giggled.</div> <div> Then, out of no where, dropped a Pidgey.</div> <div> "Go Inferno! Use your scratch attack!"</div> <div> " Char" Inferno nodded its head and raced towards the Pidgey.</div> <div> The Pidgey was caught off guard and was hit badly, it fainted.</div> <div> " Pokeball, Go!"</div> <div> After two shakes, the Pidgey was caught.</div> <div> "Yes!! I.. sorry Inferno.. We caught a Pidgey!! Pidey! I choose you!"</div> <div> " Pidge?"</div> <div> "pokedex, translation."</div> <div> "What?"</div> <div> "Hello Pidgey! I'm your new trainer, Jenna! And this is Inferno."</div> <div> " Pidgey!"</div> <div> "hello!"</div> <div> " Pidgey, may I give you a nickname?"</div> <div> "Pidgey"</div> <div> "go ahead"</div> <div> "How about, Pidge!"</div> <div> "Pidgey, pidge."</div> <div> "I like it! I think?"</div> <div> "Cool! lets move! Pidge, return please. Lets ride Inferno!"</div> <div> CH 3</div> <div> "Okay, Inferno, light the fire please and Pidge, could you go grab the marshmallows."</div> <div> "Charmander!"</div> <div> "Pidgey!"</div> <div> "Thank you guys! Almost time to hit the sack!"</div> <div> "Charrrrrrrrrrmander" yawned Inferno.</div> <div> "Piddggggeeeyyy" yawned Pidge.</div> <div> "Wow, And I thought I would be the first to start sleeping!" yawned Jenna as </div> <div> she rolled out her sleeping bag. Tomorrow, she thought, I'll catch even more pokemon… </div> <div> CH 4</div> <div> The next morning, after the group had packed, they were on the road again.</div> <div> What a beautiful day, thought Jenna as she and Inferno road downhill out of the Viridian forest. "I think we're in Pewter city Inferno, they have a pokemon gym here!" said Jenna. Pidge, who was flying overhead, came to perch on Jenna's shoulder. "Pidgey pi pidge pidgey?"</div> <div> "I think I'll just leave my pokedex translation system on for now, thought Jenna as she pulled out her pokedex and aimed it at Pidge.</div> <div> "why have we stopped?"</div> <div> "We had to stop, Pidge. We're in Pewter city! Oww!"</div> <div> Jenna had hoped of her bike and was walking it when she stubbed her toe</div> <div> on a rock. Or was it a rock?</div> <div> "Sandshrew!"</div> <div> "hey!"</div> <div> " Wow! It's a Sandshrew! Go Pidge, Hit it hard with your gust attack!"</div> <div> Pidge flew high in sky and beat it's wings furiously, creating a small tornado of wind. Sandshrew dodged it but to no prevail. It was thrown of it's feet and landed a couple meters away. You could obviously tell that it was exhausted, but it wasn't going down without a fight. The Sandshrew made a weak attempt at a slash attack and fainted. "Pokeball Go!" Jenna threw the Pokeball toward the Sandshrew, the ball hit it and in a flash of red energy, was sucked into the pokeball. Once, Twice, Thrice and "Ping!" Sandshrew was caught.</div> <div> "Yes!" Jenna cried, "We caught a sandshrew! Go Sandshrew!"</div> <div> Sandshrew appeared and Jenna gave it a revive and a potion.</div> <div> "Hello Sandshrew! I'm Jenna, this is Inferno and this is Pidge! I'm your new trainer and these are my pokemon or your new friends! May I give you a nickname please?" Sandshrew nodded it's head slowly.</div> <div> "How about…" Jenna pulled out a small book titled: THE TRAINERS BOOK OF NICKNAMES FOR POKEMON. </div> <div> "Lets see, Digger? No, too common." She mumbled as she flipped through the pages of her book. " Here's one! Sandie! Do you like that name?"</div> <div> "Sand Shrew!" (translation) "I do!"</div> <div> CH 5</div> <div> "Nurse Joy?" said Jenna as she stepped into the pokemon center, " Anybody here?"</div> <div> "Be right with you!" called a voice from somewhere in the back, "Try to find a seat somewhere!"</div> <div> "Okay," said Jenna as she looked around, "Lets see now, do I take that seat over there, or that seat over there or the seat to my left or the seat to my right… Oh I can't seem to choose!" she said sarcastically as she sat in the chair to the right. The pokemon center was empty save some Chanseys wandering around. Jenna pulled out her pokedex and aimed it at a passing Chansey. "chansey, the lucky pokemon, it is said to bring luck and happiness to anyone who catches one"</div> <div> "Wow, I gotta get me one of those" Jenna said "It would be cool."</div> <div> "Excuse me," said the same voice Jenna heard earlier "Did you call me?"</div> <div> "Yes Nurse, I did. Could you heal my pokemon for me?</div> <div> And could you give me directions to the Pewter city Motel?"</div> <div> "Yes I will heal your pokemon and you can stay here. Aren't you Jenna Ketchum from Pallet?"</div> <div> "Um, yeah (yawn)" replied Jenna, handing Nurse Joy her pokemon.</div> <div> "You get some sleep Jenna, your pokemon will be ready for tomorrow.</div> <div> CH 6</div> <div> The next morning Jenna was headed towards the small pokemon pen for wild pokemon. It was a small forest and field for pokemon trainers to catch more pokemon. "Go Pidge, Go Sandie, Go Inferno! Lets find some pokemon!"</div> <div> said Jenna as she released all her pokemon. "Inferno, watch your tail! I think I'll keep you in your pokeball for now" she said as she called Inferno in its pokeball. "Sand, Sandshrew!" called Sandie. (translation) "jenna, a pokemon!"</div> <div> Jenna pointed her pokedex at what looked like a small rat.</div> <div> "rattatta, the rat pokemon, small and very quick, it is common in many places."</div> <div> "Okay Sandie! Slash attack!" </div> <div> Rattatta had seen us and bit Sandie with a hyper fang attack.</div> <div> The rattatta bit onto Sandie's tail. Sandie whipped around and flung the rattatta into the air and slashed it, hard. Jenna threw the pokeball and hit the rattatta. After one shake, it was caught. " I think I'll call you Razor. Pokeball Go!"</div> <div> Out came Razor, still in fighting condition.</div> <div> "Rrrrattatta!" (translation)</div> <div> "Razor here"</div> <div> "ratt ratta ta!"</div> <div> « where's the battle!"</div> <div> "No battle here Razor!" laughed Jenna. "Return! Lets go find some more pokemon!"</div> <div> "Pidgggeyyyy!"</div> <div> "What is it Pidge?"</div> <div> (translation) "a doduo!"</div> <div> "Where! Oh I see it! Pidge, Quick attack!"</div> <div> "Doduo?!" cried the doduo in shock and confusion as it was hit with a quick attack from Pidge.</div> <div> The Doduo ran towards Jenna and hid behind her legs. It was shivering in fear. "Hello," said Jenna softly, "How are you?"</div> <div> "Do do duo do doduo!" (translation) "scared silly and hungry!"</div> <div> "Do you want to come with me?"</div> <div> "Doduo! Do duo!" (translation) "sure! I'll go!"</div> <div> "Pokeball Go!"</div> <div> Doduo was caught without a fight.</div> <div> "Alright! We caught a Doduo, lets see ya doduo!"</div> <div> POOF! Out pops Jenna's doduo.</div> <div> "Doduo!"</div> <div> "hello!"</div> <div> "Hey Doduo! How about a nickname?"</div> <div> "Doduo Duo!"</div> <div> "sure go ahead!"</div> <div> "How about Tweedle Dee or Tweedle Dum or TweedleDeeDum or Tweedle."</div> <div> "Doduo duo doduo"</div> <div> "I like tweedle thanks"</div> <div> CH 7</div> <div> Jenna has 5 pokemon now, they are strong in their own way.</div> <div> They each have their own special attacks: Inferno has flamethrower, Pidge has gust, Sandie has dig, Razor has hyper fang and Tweedle has Drill peck. Jenna just healed her pokemon at the pokemon center and is headed towards the pokemon gym to battle Tom, the Pewter city gym leader. Tom is one of Brock's younger brothers.</div> <div> "Hello? Anybody here?" said Jenna. Wow, deja vu! I said the same thing at the pokemon center! thought Jenna.</div> <div> "You wish to battle the famous Tom?" said a voice from somewhere in the dark room.</div> <div> "Hey Tommy! Its me, Jenna Ketchum!"</div> <div> "Jenna Ketchum, THE Jenna Ketchum" yelled out the voice.</div> <div> "Yeah yeah cut it out, I just want to battle." </div> <div> "Fine, go Geodude. 2 vs. 2"</div> <div> "Go Inferno! Use your ember attack!"</div> <div> "Geodude! Rock throw, now!!"</div> <div> Fortunately for Inferno, his attack hit first, burning Geodude to a crisp.</div> <div> "Geodude return, Go Rhyhorn!"</div> <div> "Rhyhorn? What's that?" Jenna pointed her pokedex towards the new creature. </div> <div> "rhyhorn, the spikes pokemon, its bones are 1000 times harder than any others. it can easily send an officers r.v. flying. take extreme caution around this pokemon."</div> <div> "Wow, that's one tough pokemon!" said Jenna.</div> <div> "Return Inferno! Go Sandie! Sandie, use your dig attack!"</div> <div> Sandie dug underneath Rhyhorn, but stopped right under it. A small hole appeard under the confused Rhyhorn.</div> <div> "Return Sandie, Go Inferno! Use your Flamethrower attack and aim it down the hole!"</div> <div> Before Tom could say a word, a huge colum of fire engulfed Rhyhorn. The hole that Sandie dug was used as a guide for Inferno's Flamethrower!</div> <div> Jenna just won the Boulder Badge!</div> <bR> </td> </tr></table></body>
