Dear Kevin Smith fan,
Thank you for all the messages of support. I just can't imagine the world without Kevin.
The Kevin Smith Trust Fund has been set up by Kevin's management, along with Lucy Lawless and Michael Hurst. This is the only "official" place to donate to, and they are working directly with Kevin's family. Please continue to respect Kevin's family and friends, give them their privacy and allow them time to grieve without being bothered by fandom.
I know Kevin wouldn't want us all to be this sad, he wouldn't want us to not have fun, to not see the goodness in this world. He would want us to go on, to hold our loved ones close, to laugh, and to smile. That's just how he was. He always chose to see the good in people, no matter who they were. He always chose to see the good in the world, and to be kind to everyone.
So, let's take a lesson from Kevin and from his life. Let's try to see the goodness in people and the world around us, to live our lives to the fullest, like Kevin chose to.
