| Many years ago, on a forum
far, far away, I created a discussion called "The Shelbyville Drive-In."
In this discussion I would start threads based upon the obscure, the
weird, and the strange worlds of cinema. Add in some bad acting and
obvious special effects, and you have the perfect late night
entertainment. Following is my ongoing and growing database of the odd, unusual, and strange films that have become my favorites. For sure, many of them really suck. Which makes them even better to view with friends and insert your own dialogue and scenes. Yeah, "My Left Foot" may be a good movie, but "The Bubble" (aka "The Fantastic Invasion of Planet Earth") is a *fun* movie. I will gladly accept nominations to add to the list. The Shelbyville drive-in is always open-minded. |
