she doesn't have license to operate because when it went by the
government's office, it was closed. He has thought to go again when it
finishes the operation, because it trusts in that she will be able to fix
everything in one day, but Bruno doubts and he notices that if it doesn't
get the permission, he won't have validity for the DXCC and the IOTA none
of the QSO.

DX NEWS |
| |
E-QSL DISCUSSION. - it is
noticed that until the moment the ARRL has not changed in its posture
regarding not accepting those and-QSL. However they accept it if they
lower it of E-QSL and then the impression sends it to the operator so that
the scribe and the firm one, like one has come making traditionally. They
notice that the on-line logs has many errors, and many cases have been
given in that a carried out QSO is not when those of the DXCC want to
check in the on-line log on the received QSL.
In the same way they are not accepted the QSL that are printed at home and
that they are printed the data of the QSO inside the QSL. In certain cases
those cards are rejected, unless they have the signature or initials of
the operator. The DXCC doesn't agree also and that it should also be made
also via Bureau. Any question on the topic, it can be made Wayne N7NG (n7ng@arrl.org) or to visit
http://www.arrl.org/news/stories/2002/03/07/100/
OPERATION PW0T. - When the
team of expeditionary had finished the operation as it had been
programmed, they received the warning that they would only go for them two
days after that programmed, and they decided to participate in the
Competition ARRL SSB in all the bands.
QSL 9J2BO. - W6ORD is no
longer Brian's Qsl manager 9J2BO. Now the cards should be sent Mike Mills,
G3TEV or to the bureau of RSGB.
QSL CQ1CV. - Paulo CT1ETE
informs that the Qsl for CQ1CV is not still printed and it asks that
please they are patient.
QSL DE K3J. - Rum AH6HN is
the Qsl manager of the operation of K3J in September of the 2002 from the
Atoll Johnston, but she says that the QSL is getting ready in Germany.
QSL DE RW1AI/ANT. - Mike
RW1AI, I eat we had already informed here for many weeks, it will be
active of the base of "Vostok" (AN016, WABA UA-010), Antarctica
during next 11 months. The Qsl should be via direct to Mikhail Fokin, P.O.
Box 2, St.Petersburg, 195009 Russia, or to the Bureau, but until he
returns home in February of the 2003. The log is on-line, so much of
RW1AI/ANT and R1AND (1999 May-December) and R1ANP (January-March 2000)
http://www.qsl.net/ua1ake/logs
QSL NOT SEND. - My name is
Dolphin and my indicative one is EA8AYV (Island of Great Canaria). why
something is not made with those stations that they don't answer to the
QSLs that I mediate world they send them, and that they keep the dollars
($$$$) or IRC. The purpose of these stations is the one of to deceive
despicably and to collect, without giving anything to change, except to
work with the station and to contact with the appreciated entity that
represents for our DXCC, but that we will never be able to confirm and, if
she also keeps our money, it discourages us and they discourage. And this
is bad for our hobby. And to wait that an American, European, Asian
expedition... or multi carry out an expedition to those entities it can
take years. I wonder if they should exist a black book, but I am conscious
that it would be something negative. What I have just outlined is a
question that I think that is about us for the head to many diexistas, and
I expose it so that we are aware of it (that I know that we are it) and
let us look for a definitive solution to reside the problem. (Thank you
EA8AYV).
QSL DE XE2P. - Rum AC7DX is
no longer the Qsl manager for XE2P, as it was informed, since she says
that the on-line log doesn't work.
QSL OF 4I1P AND 4H2B. -
Frank VE7DP informed that the shipment of the Qsl 4I1P, 4H2B and VE7DP/DU1
of February of the 2001 were already completed totally 6 months ago for
who they requested them via direct and for the rest she is sending using
the on-line log.
QSL DE ZS5BBO. - The Qsl
manager ZS5BBO asks that when they are sent applications of cards for GM7V
and GZ7V it should be sent to the Bureau of SARL but it should be
indicated clearly that it is for (ZS5BBO via Bureau of SARL) or to direct
it to: Edwin Musto, PO Box 673, Westville 3630, South Africa (their new
address).
QSL MANAGER. - N3SL is the
Qsl manager of GM3WOJ and GS2MP and the Qsl they should be requested via
direct to Kim Larson, 22 N Pungent Hidden Drive, Sioux City, Iowa 51108.
QSL DE PJ2Z. - Scott
N9AG/J68AS informs that it stops who the Qsl of PJ2Z and PJ2T want, they
have already been answered all the demands that he has received up to
March 2.
QSL DE VP8CBA. - Ralph
Informs K0IR that he is the Qsl manager and non Steve K0SR, but Steve that
he will send Ralph all the Qsl that receives mistakenly says.
QSL FOR W4D. - W5UE is the
Qsl manager for the operation that the members of the Mongolia carried out
DX Association to the Island of Dauphin (IOTA NA-213, USI AL-002S) and to
him they will request him via direct the Qsl.
CONTEST GACW DX. - The 20
and 21 of April the GACW DX will celebrate its 25 anniversary of having
been founded from all over the world with an international competition
that will have as main purpose the promotion of the radio and the
coexistence among the operators. More information in:
http://www.geocities.com/gacwar (Thank you Raúl LU6EF).
QSL DE ZK1CG. - Two boxes
with abundant QSL of the operations to North and South Cook ZK1CG and
ZK1USA March 4 were sent. If you have not received the Qsl you write
Victor sales@computers.co.ck VE7XF, the Qsl manager of both operations.
PREFIXES DE TAIWAN - The
CTARL, through Tony BX2AC (former BV2TA) he/she remembers to all that the
prefixes BM, BN, BO, BP, BQ, BU, BV, BW and BX belong to the Taiwan, but
the prefixes BA-BL, BR-BT, BX and BZ belong to China. It is recommended
they take into account the above-mentioned so that they don't make a
mistake of country and be left without answer.
TI9M - ISLAND OF COCO -
Finally, the multi-international expedition already finished with a lot of
success in the 10 days 80,000 QSO they carried out, included the 2000 QSO
in the ARRL SSB DX Competition, highlighting that they had to carry out
100 trips inside the island to transport the team until a place high 500
feet and that helped enough to have better he listens and point out.
TO LISTEN AND LISTEN. - One
of the main qualities of a good operator of radio amateur, is that it
should be patient, educated, and first to listen before to speak. However,
for the diexistas that you walk to the hunt of countries that you have not
worked in some band or way, it is exasperating when they find one of those
desired countries, but the operator of that country decides to begin to
ask on the characteristics of the antenna that it uses that that has a
very good sign. Or they simply decide to look for "only USA", or
"only Europe". And while, the good conditions end, or the
operator decides to cut its operation because she has go to work, or he
will spend to another band, or he is not able to with the
"pound-up" and its operation becomes very slow, and they
decrease the possibilities to carry out the contact. (XE1BEF).

for the propagation in HF, and that will allow that after the conditions
were excellent in 10 meters, now they will be it in 15 meters in the
spring.
You prediction a flow solar average of 174.1 and an index "K" I
average of 11.7.
On the other hand Neil
Clarke G0CAS, in its work of weekly investigation on the propagation,
informs that the solar activity was last week of low to moderate. The
solar flow diminished from 211 to 183 with an average of 198. The activity
geomagnetic was quiet and uncertain. The speed of the solar wind,
according to the report of the space station ISS was among 300 kilometers
per second at 420.
During the week the best F2 registered around 14.1MHZ and the poorest day
the best thing it was around 11.8MHZ. The conditions for HF remain very
good with all the continents in most of the days.
In 50 MHZ they have occurred good openings between Europe and the Means
This.
The predictions for the week: it is expected that the solar activity is
mainly low. The solar flow could be around 200, but it could register
changes in half of the week. The activity geomagnetic will be calmed
during the light of the day in the same latitudes around 40MHZ. When the
darkness it is expected that it continues in increase the propagation
around the 12MHZ. The roads among the oriental coast of America of the
North with Europe will have an usable maximum frequency around 35MHZ with
50 percent of success, but the good frequency will be around 26MHZ with 90
percent of success. The best time to prove is among 13-1900z o'clock.
6 METERS IN MEXICO. -
XE1BEF that the band of 6 meters has been surprising Reports: March 10
from 01.10z up to 0248z enough JA was listened in enough frequencies that
communicated with other stations, but they didn't listen Mexico.
Initially, at 01.10z in 50.105 a tremendous one was listened
"pile-up" in CW of stations JA that not called to a station
listened in Mexico. Still at 03.05z they were listened in SSB with signs
55. March 11 from 0245 o'clock were listened in Mexico the beacons of
PY5XX, CO2FRC and LU9EHF. March 12 from 0023z those of PY5XX, HC8SIX and
LU9EHF. March 13 from the 2315 LU9EHF, PY5XX and VE4VHF. March 14 from the
0216z PY5XX, VE2TWO, ZP5AA and LU9EHF.
