This school was closed when Missouri Western College was built.
After many years of sitting empty, someone purchased the building and converted it into an apartment building.

St Joseph Junior College Student Union "GROTTO" - This was located on the Northeast corner of 10th & Edmond,
across the street from the college.
It was torn down in the mid 60's and converted into a parking lot. This was a favorite hangout for students between classes, playing

Sherwood was located on South 29th St, between Edmond and Charles Streets.
These photos are of the lower and upper playgrounds. Sherwood was demolished in the 1990's and
a small park replaced the structure. The 2 playgrounds still remain as they once were, less the ugly graffi that has been painted
