Primarily Olive Street from 16th to 22nd Street This area was populated predominently with people of Polish & Czech descent In early days Geese were herded down the middle of Olive Street Thus, the area was called Goose Town by many people |

The Plaza was located at 1830 Olive Street. It was built in 1940 and sometime in 1970-1971, it caught fire and burnt down. It had 432 seats and was one of my favorite theaters until it closed. The building was razed and it is an empty lot. I WOULD LOVE TO FIND A PHOTO OF THE PLAZA |
