This is the royal town. With all the
hypes, there must be a very nice Rest House in this town.
True. The Rest House was
prominently perching on a low hill over looking the
esplanade. the setting was nice and the ambience too was nice. I was
looking forward to stay here. The place was formally operated my
friend's family for many many years. I had never stayed there. This
would be the chance for me to bring back old days, as well as trying out
a place with historical background.

It clustered among the other
statutory buildings, such as the library and
school.
All
these building stands in a beautifully manicured
district. The Rest House complex had 3 buildings. New wings
had since been added. This is seen as the structure with
new roof. A low annex is the detached building on the
right. Then on the utmost right , would be the old and original building
of the rest house.

Visitors can never miss finding the
place. This is a small town. Across the river and upon arrival.
Location of the rest house can be confirmed by the
sighting of its large signage.
Right facing the
approaching road from town. |
|
Couple of very good views from the compound of
the Rest House .
First from the patio, a prefect
miniature garden.
Then, there we had, a complete with the view
of the Perak River as background

Then the indoor garden that was also
tastefully designed.
It filled with and finished
off with potted
plants and flowering bougainvilleas. |

Catering for the small crowd that patronize this place,
a dinning hall. That
was elegant. Even though the dinner
hall that doubled up as a place for drinks and
food.. |
