Updated! 05/27/07: I created these .mid files using MidiMapper. All were converted from Deskmate .SNG files, except 'Both Sides Now' and 'Sound of Silence', which I entered manually in MidiMapper. They are all grand piano tracks, except I also added flute/recorder to the 2nd parts of Windy and El Condor Pasa, and string ensemble to the 2nd part of Moon River.
Before converting, I adjusted the instrument volume dynamics, fixed a few incorrect notes, added instruments as noted, and added other enhancements.
What is midi? It's a way for musical instruments and computers to communicate with each other, and to store music digitally in your computer... (click for more)
Updated! 03/28/09: It Never Rains In Southern California, and the Mission Impossible and Pink Panther themes were added.
Updated! 05/27/07: Really delicious reverb was added to several songs. I recommend you download and listen to them. Songs with reverb are designated with a '!' in front of them in the lists below.
Updated! 05/14/07: I added 'Born Free', 'Moonlight Sonata', and 'Sound of Silence'.
Updated! 04/14/07: I corrected some notes in Band Played On, Goodbye, and Alla Turca. Also, I inserted a slight 1 ms delay between when each note is released and the next pressed, in all the songs, which I think gives them a more 'human' feel.
Updated! 03/29/07: Some of these were originally recorded at a Dynamic level that was too low, so I re-recorded them at the correct dynamic level and updated them here. Songs I re-recorded are designated with a '*' in front of them in the lists below.
Updated! 03/18/07: I added 14 more to the original package of 17 songs, to make 31 total (see below). Also, I added new instruments as mentioned above.

Updated! 10/17/07: Click here to download my free, lightweight audio player, version 1.8 (Windows 32 bit), to play them and other midi and .wav files. It's small and lightweight but has some nice features, like being able to automatically step thru and play all the music files in a directory. Important: download, then rename the .zip to .exe, then double click and extract to the folder of your choice.
MidiMapper is a program that I wrote that may also interest you. It's a free Windows 32 bit program that lets you write and play back songs thru midi and see the notes played (animated) on a musical staff and scale, piano keyboard, guitar/banjo/mandolin, and hammered dulcimer images. You can define additional fretted or fretless musical instrument layouts, for example, violin, mountain dulcimer, etc, change the midi sounds to use any of 128 different instruments, and record to .mid files. It supports up to 16 simultaneous voices (instruments). It's a great way to learn and trade songs. The .mid files above were made by MidiMapper.
You can find out more about MidiMapper and download it here: http://members.fortunecity.com/whb11/Midi/MyMidiPlayer.htm
