NOBODY WANTS TO BE LONELY

The sun was shining, the days was perfect, everybody was having fun, playing, running...excepting her. Ariel was alone, she had no friends, no family...nobody never care about her, she never cared about anyone...anymore

That morning she went to buy some stuff for her house, walked quietly around the town, when she saw him...he was in the same shop, he was the most good looking guy she had seen in a long time, since Sean ...he smiled widely at her, Ariel just looked down and kept walking.

Shane looked at the girl, she had a really sad look in her eyes and she seemed lonely, she looked at him and he felt like someone had took his heart away, her eyes were special...but at the same time were fulled of pain.

He smiled, but she just walked away...he lost her inside the big place, he searched for her but...nothing, sadly he left the shop thinking of the girl, what he didn’t imagined was that the girl was watching him leave...

A few days later, Shane couldn’t stop thinking of the girl, he didn’t know why, but he knew he would find her again...and that moment was closer every minute.

Ariel sat in the park, she was reading an old book, when a ball rolled next to her, she took the ball and looked around searching for the owner of it "Oh I'm really sorry" a guy said "that’s mine..." he said pointing at it "its ok. Don’t worry" she mumbled at the guy, who was awfully familiar to her...

Shane took the ball and turned to leave, when he remembered from where he knew the girl...she was the sad girl!! he stopped and said to her "my name's Shane" she gave her an odd look "nice to meet you Shane" she sat again and stared to read the book. Shane sat next to her "sorry, I didn’t get your name" she looked up from her book and sighed "I never said my name" she half whispered "then, what’s your name?" he felt stupid for being so...annoying, but he needed to know more about her..."it’s Ariel" "that’s a nice name, nice to meet you Ariel" Ariel just smiled a bit, but quickly got back into her book "you know I saw you in the shop a few days ago..." she suddenly remembered He was the guy she was staring...shocked she closed the book "oh...ok"

The conversation kept till an hour later, when he had to leave, but they decided to meet each other again in the very same place, at the same time

After a week they still met in the park, and they had long chats about everything, their life their dreams, hopes...but there was only one thing they never talked about "so tell me Ariel, are you married, single...?" Ariel's face changed "well...actually its a long sad story...but it doesn't matter...really" her eyes were fulled with tears, Shane hugged her "what is it? you can tell me" she sobbed quietly, when she was calm again she whispered "do you really want to know?" he nodded "I...got married when I was 18..I was in love..." he wiped a tear that was running down her face "go on sweetie" he said softly "one day, when i get back from work...he was sleeping...or that's what I thought...because he was...he was dead" she sobbed, he hugged her again, while she cried softly "Nobody knew why...I never saw his family again...so I moved here to start a new life...but it's so hard...I can't forget him..." Shane hugged her tight, like never wanting to let her go "everything will be fine...just give it sometime..." she smiled faintly "I was all alone here, I have none" Shane's heart broke "you've got me" he whispered "I'll be here for you, always" she felt so warm inside when he said that, it was like Sean's had come and said that to her...

Shane felt like telling her the way he felt for her, but it wasn’t the right time, not yet.

A few months later, their friendship was growing, as much as Shane's love for Ariel, and Ariel doubts about what she really felt for Shane...

A night, they decided to stay at her house watching a movie, Shane was ready to tell her, he couldn’t wait much longer.

Ariel was concentrated on the movie they were watching when Shane softly asked "Ariel, can we talk for a minute" she nodded turning her eyes to him "I've got something to tell you, that's really important...and it's not easy for me so...you know" she smiled and nodded "What is it?" Shane took a deep breath "Lately, I've been thinking that...well...we...you and I...became in really good friends...and the thing is that this friendship...is more than that to me..." he sighed. Ariel had a confused look in her eyes "the first time I saw you, I felt like you...took my breath away...I never felt that way before...and I don’t think I'll feel like this again..." "what are you trying to say?" she asked not understanding what was going on "well...what I'm trying to say is...is...I think I'm in love...with you" he whispered. Ariel surprised face made him doubt about if it was good or bad "I'm not expecting you to say that you feel the same, if you don't feel it...but I guess you have the right to know it" he said standing up "I'll call you later" said before he left a very confused Ariel, thinking about what she really wanted...

Shane walked out of the house feeling like he had lost everything he had, maybe it wasn't a good idea after all. He was walking slowly under the pouring rain, regreting feel that way towards her, but he couldn't help the way she made him feel, it was like being walking on a cloud...everytime they were together he felt that wonderfull warm feeling that made him feel whole and happy...but now everything would change, she would feel unconfortable around him...slowly they would lose touch and one day she would forget about him forever.

Ariel wiped a tear that runned down her face, she felt silly, why she couldn’t say a word to him? she wanted to tell him that she felt the same, she wanted to tell him how much she wanted to hear those words coming from him...how much she wanted to have him in her arms, and never let him go...but she couldn’t. It was her time to make things right, she knew what she had to do...quickly she took her coat, and went to find him, to tell him how she felt

Shane sat in the park, he wipped the tears from his eyes, he didn’t care about the rain, he didn’t care bout anything, he had make a big mistake tell her. He knew it. And there was no way she would forgive him...Ariel saw Shane sittin' in the park, her eyes fulled with tears, while she runned towards him "Shane" she said softly, he looked up at her, Ariel sat next to him and wiped the tears from his eyes. He tried to say something when she melted her lips on his, he felt like the world stopped, Ariel kissed him softly, enjoying every single second, that was an eternity for her. After the kiss, she softly whispered "I need you" he smiled and hugged her tight like never wanting to let her go "I'll be here for you, always"
