TOMORROW AND TONIGHT

I watched the rain trickle down the window, whilst I tapped my fingers impatiently on the steering wheel. It's one thing being stuck in a jam, but it's totally another one if it's thunder and lightning outside.

As the traffic made no sign of movement, I bent down and switched on the CD player. As Atomic Kitten's vocals filled my car, I found myself singing along...

" I saw you with a girlfriend baby,

I saw you underneath the light,

As the song continued, I thought to myself, how much it suited the situation between Nicky and myself.

The tears silently fell. Streaming softly down my face. But why? It wasn’t like I didn’t know he’d been with other girls, nearly all the time I’d been with him.

It was obvious that Nicky wouldn’t of been able to be with me 24/7, like it used to be, but that made it more special, knowing that when we did see each other again it would be so romantic, savouring every second we spent together… well that’s how I felt at least.

The amount of times I said that we should call it off, and the amount of times I ran back to him, because of that puppy dog look, the one I’d crave for. It just made me melt inside, and go all weak-kneed.

I only wanted his love, until I found it from someone else of course…. Someone who didn’t cheat on me, someone who loved me with all his heart, someone like Nicky, but not quite….
