Olivia has liked Mark since like forever.  But there was always the age difference of like 6 years. They had 

been best friends, since they were younger when she moved next door to him, well her parents at least.  

Her parents moved to Sligo, Ireland when Mark was only 6 and Olivia’s mom was pregnant with her and had 

a son that was 4 years old.  Since Olivia was born Mark was fond of her.

But as time went on they became best friends and everyone thought it was crazy to have a best friend of the 

opposite sex.  No one knew about Olivia’s crush, and all she wanted to do every time she woke up was tell 

someone, but she was too afraid and shy.  But Mark wasn’t like her he was out going and Olivia wished she 

could be like that and not scared.

Mark was always away with business, like promoting their latest single or recording a new album or touring.  

(Mark is in a boy group called Westlife with 4 other friends Kian, Shane, Bryan, and Nicky)  

And every time Mark came home Olivia was really shy around him, and trying to avoid him because everything 

he did around made Olivia blush and something Olivia never felt before.  She would always make excuses she 

was busy to hang out with him, and Mark soon caught on that Olivia was having some problems.  

“Hey Olivia! What’s the problem?” Mark asked as he saw Olivia leave her house “Oh nothing! I gotta go I have 

to meet up with some friends!” Olivia said and ran away.

Mark was thinking what had just happened “Olivia could always tell me anything and everything but look at her 

now she can’t even tell me what’s on her mind or what her problem is.  What is our friendship coming to?” 

Mark thought. Mark was the one she could always talk to but this was the only thing she couldn’t talk to him 

about. But she couldn’t talk to anyone about her crush and it hurt so much to not tell someone about the crush 

for so long. But it hurt so much when he talked about him and his current girlfriend.  It just tore Olivia apart 

inside, but she kept a smile so he wouldn’t get suspicious.

It was true no one knew about Olivia’s crush, absolutely no one.  But she didn’t have the guts to tell anyone

 either. She just couldn’t she didn’t want to be made fun of.

Olivia was just so confused she was sitting on a bench thinking of what to do.  She then decided to keep her 

feeling to herself and never to tell anyone or show them and get over it, she could never be with Mark. 

It would be better on both parts and it’ll be much easier.  Olivia soon found a boyfriend named TJ after her 

decision and Mark and her were best friends again. But Olivia didn’t know Mark’s feelings and never would or 

would she; sooner or later one of them would spill.  Which one would spill first?
