IF YOU'RE GONE by Rae
"I think I've already lost you I think you're already gone I think I'm finally scared now You think I'm weak I think you're wrong" He didn't know what to do without her. He couldn't think of any thing to do to make it better. He didn't know how. . . he was sorry. He knew that much, he felt it. He knew he'd taken her for granted and she had every right to leave. . . always had the right. He just didn't think she'd actually leave. "Rachel, I'm sorry. . . you can't. . ." Kian began. "Don't. . . " She said looking him in his eyes. She turned and walked out the door of their apartment. He followed her out the door into the street. "I think you're already leaving Feels like your hand is on the door I thought this place was an empire Now I'm relaxed I can't be sure" "Please. . ." He began again. She turned to him, her keys in hand, "It's a little late for that, don't you think?" She loved him, she knew it, he knew it, she knew he knew it. . . that's what made it so bad. She knew he knew and he did it anyway. He kissed that girl, he's taken her for granted. "I'll so whatever it takes. . ." He searched for words. "You've done enough." she said softly and walked to her car. "And I think you're so mean I think we should try I think I could need This in my life And I think I'm just scared I think too much I know it's wrong, It's a problem I'm dealing." She closed her car door and started the engine. Kian stood in front of the car. "Rachel. . . don't do this." Tears streamed down her face. "I have to." she said to herself. She needed to, she had to let him know that it wasn't right. . . it was so wrong. Things had to change. She pulled away and watched Kian disappear in the rear view mirror. "If you're gone Maybe it's time to come home There's an awful lot of breathing room But I can hardly move If you're gone Baby, you need to come home, come home There's a little bit of something me In everything in you" He wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. . . how could she leave? He knew the answer though, he knew it was his fault, he knew things had to change. He wanted to change, he would. . . he was determined. She'd be cheated. . . he knew that. He knew he'd done that. And again, that's what made it so bad, he KNEW. "I think you're so mean I think we should try I think I could need This in my life And I think I'm just scared Do I talk too much? I know it's wrong, It's a problem I'm dealing" She sped down the road, tears still coming. She wanted him to say he'd change, he'd never do it again. . . cause he loved her. He needed her. . . she wanted that. She hoped her would say it, but for now she had to go. . . "If you're gone And maybe it's time to come home Well, there's an awful lot of breathing room But I can hardly move Yeah, well, if you're gone Yeah, baby, you need to come home, come home There's a little bit of something in me. . ." Again tears streamed down his face. "I promise I'll change, I love you Rachel. I need you." Mark put his hand on Kian's shoulder, to comfort him. He'd said it. . . he had. . . but it was a little late for that. Everyone else had left the hospital room, they were waiting outside. She really was gone now. . . the car was going too fast. .. out of control. . . it was an accident. Accidents happen. Yea Kian, a little late. "And everything in you Something (everything in...something) in you. . ."
