Survivors> chapter 8
It
is the dead of the afternoon. Kian and Kymie along with Mitzie and Shane
have slept inside the new shelter. Meanwhile, Bryan made a hammock from
tennis net and tied its two ends between two coconut trees. He got on it
and found it not difficult to sleep on. Pril joined him and both decided
to assure first if they can be supported by it. Bryan laid back and urged
Pril to snuggle up to him. She placed her head on his chest then closed
her eyes. Bryan caressed her hair as he too drifted off to sleep. Nicky
and Nady took a stroll for the giant boulders at the other end of the
beach. They snuggled to each other and watched the calm waters and cool
breeze, which was eating their time away. Out on the sand are Mark and
Billie, trying so very hard to make sandcastles. They were teasing and
playing with the sand. Mark stared at Billie once, roaming his eyes
festively on the contours of her body. She's a very beautiful girl, he
thought. So very beautiful, he was smiling briefly to himself when he
found her staring at him. Her eyes were sparkling like green emeralds. "Mark?
Are you all right? Is there something the matter?" she asks drawing
unconsciously on the sand in front of her. Mark shook his thoughts away
and looked at her. "Nothing.
Nothing. I'm sorry. Was I staring?" Billie nodded and lowered her
gaze. Mark smirked and met her circles with his own. "Are you
involved with anyone right now?" he suddenly asked, his blue eyes
looking straight at her. Billie lifted her face to him and met those blue
eyes. "No."
She saw him chuckle. "How
come? You are a very beautiful girl. Men should be lining up for
you." Billie smiled and tried not to laugh at his remark. "Why
are you asking me that question? It is I that should be asking you if you
are involved with anyone right now." "Well
I'm not." Billie looked at him. She didn't know whether to be glad
with what he had just said or be sad that no one is taking him seriously
as a lover, that everyone is aiming for his wealth and success. "That
is very over-rated Mark. You are famous, there should be girls lining up
for you." "I
date, I must admit but I don't let them touch my soul. It's hard to find
someone whose sincere enough to understand that my life is not just about
being rich or famous, that at any point the band would eventually disband
and find other ways to make it up in this world." "Wow,
that is deep." Mark
chuckled and lowered his gaze, running his hands on the sandcastle they
made together. "Do
you hope to find that one person whose going to understand and make you
happy?" she asks unconsciously but then she wanted him to answer.
Mark looked at her and stared at her green eyes. "Yes." Billie
swallowed a lump in her throat. "And where do you think would you
find this girl of your dreams. This someone that you know would understand
and make you happy." "I
was hoping she would already be sitting in front of me now, asking these
questions." Billie
stopped and lowered her gaze. She smiled and tried to compose herself as
she wanted to scream. Suddenly she felt his hand touch her chin, lifting
her face to his. Their eyes met and Mark leaned over to give her a soft
kiss. He looked at her and leaned again, giving her a more soft, deeper
kiss when in a fraction of a second heard a loud squeal from the camp.
They both turned their heads to see Bryan running from the hammock he
made, taking off his shirt in the process, plunging himself in the water.
They saw Pril holding her cheeks with both hands, laughing and squealing.
Mark was the first one to look back at Billie, she felt his stare and
lowered her gaze again then turning back to him to meet his wonderful
eyes. Mark was about to lean again for a kiss when Billie turned her gaze
to Pril who was going to jump in the water with Bryan. "Pril!
Be careful!" she shouted to them, leaving Mark to smile and shook his
head. Billie turned to him and found him with his reactions. She realized
that she ignored his moves to her. "Oh Mark, I'm so sorry?" she
begun when Mark grabbed her lips with his, giving her the most passionate
kiss. Billie held him by the neck and responded to his kiss. She moaned
and encircled her arms around him. "Hey
you two! You should get in the water before we go to that lagoon! Oh come
on Mark! You can do that to Billie later!" Bryan teased urging Mark
and Billie to withdraw from their kiss and smile. Billie licked her lips
and caressed Mark's cheek. She stood up and pulled him by the hands. "Come
on, we can kiss in the water." She told him, pulling towards the
ocean. Mark followed and instantly grabbed Billie by the waist, pulling
her down with him in the water. Billie screamed giggling, which echoed
throughout the beach. Back
to the shelter, Kian came out of the hut and watched the four people
playing in the water. He placed his hands on his waist and shook his head.
Two fair arms encircled his waist, Kymie's head popped up behind his
shoulder. She kissed his shoulder and rested her chin on it. "They're
having fun." She told him. He turned his face to her and kissed her
temple. "Yes
they are." Kian pulled away from her, grabbing a piece of large
shell, taking water from the shorelines, pouring it on the small fire that
was still burning. "We're still going to that lagoon right?" he
asks watching her rub her arms. "Yeah."
She answered him, placing herself beside him on the log. He got up and sat
beside her, putting an arm around her shoulders, rubbing her arms. Inside
the shelter, Mitzie was running her fingers on Shane's soft bangs. She
stared at him while he sleeps, watching every twitch his face makes. She
briefly smiles, tracing her soft fingertips on the contours of his face.
Then just as her fingers touched his lips, she found him watching her
every move. She felt a hand go on her waist then suddenly he leaned over
and met her lips with his own, touching it for a soft, feathery kiss. He
pulled away, looking at her reactions, then he leaned on again and kissed
her deep and passionate. His hand held her tight on the waist, their
bodies so close and so hot for one another. Hearing the noise just outside
the shelter, Mitzie moaned, already starting to pull away when Shane
plunged his tongue deep into her mouth, massaging her own. His grip on her
waist grew tighter, keeping her steady with gentle caresses. She placed a
hand on his face, responding to his actions. He slowed down but did not
left her lips. He was still French kissing her softly, exploring every
space in her mouth. Her hands now rested on the back on his neck,
caressing through his hair. Shane gave her small kisses, enjoying the feel
of her soft lips on his. His eyes opening, watching her as she stares at
him fondly, enjoying the pleasures he has been giving her. She closed her
eyes to focus on him, feeling him move closer to her. One hand slipped
inside her shorts, parting the crotch area of her bikini bottom. Mitzie
gasped as she felt his fingers on her hot sex. Shane smiled briefly
charging his lips for hers, kissing her more deep, more passionate than
before and at the same time stroking her throbbing nub leaving her to moan
uncontrollably under his touch. Kymie
leaned onto Kian's shoulder. "Shouldn't we get them to huddle up so
we can get going to the lagoon? We should go there early so we could come
back here early. It's a bit dangerous to walk in the forest in the
dark." Kian
nodded and showed her the torches Bryan had made. "We should bring
these two in case." He winked at her and she smiled to him. "You
are so funny, Mr. Egan." "All
the more to please you my sweet Kymie." Nicky
and Nady have started back to the camp. Nady was inspecting some seashells
she picked up by the rocks showing them to Nicky. She waved to Kymie and
showed her the seashells. "Look
at these Kymie!" Nady called giving one to her then showed another
one with a different design. Kian handed Nicky the water canteens. "We
should get on early." "Great
idea." Nicky said turning his way for the four people still playing
in the ocean. Mitzie
gave out a strong, silent gasp as she came on Shane's fingers. Her body
quivered and spasmed beside him. Shane gave her a deep kiss then drew out
his hand from her shorts, licking his fingers to taste her. Mitzie stares
and pants, groggily floating still from the surge of pleasure she received
from him. Then as he stood up extending his hand to her, she saw the huge
blotch of wetness on the front of his crotch. She smiled mischievously.
She wasn't the only one after all, she thought. He pulled her up and urged
her to run outside for the water. Mitzie held him close and gave him a
kiss as they ran. The four people by the campfire was shocked to see them
awake and laughing as they hit the water. Mitzie held on to Shane as they
caused a huge splash by the shorelines. All the evidence of what they've
done inside the shelter was washed away. Mitzie held her head up the
water, her arms around Shane's neck. She smiled at him and said. "You
are one clever man Shane." She teased kissing him. He catches his
breath and said. "It's
supposed to be our little secret, they can't know our secret." Mitzie
nodded and gave Shane another kiss when suddenly they heard a loud shriek
behind them. It was Pril before she made a huge splash in the water as
Bryan had thrown her in. Bryan was chuckling and pulling himself down the
water then pulling up, roaming his eyes to find Pril who was supposed to
be meeting him. But she was nowhere. "Pril?" he called looking
at Shane and Mitzie who were also looking around them for any sign of
their friend. Billie and Mark have waved away at the shorelines also
looking around. "Pril!" Bryan's voice now struggled with fear,
echoing with panic. Instinctively, Bryan dived in the water, roaming his
eyes for any sign of Pril, but the waters are clear. He came up the
surface and called her name again. Shane was already going to him upon
hearing his voice quivered with Pril's name. Bryan turned to the deep
waters and yelled out Pril's name. He is extremely panicking, not knowing
what to do. He can't lose her now, he thought, he can't. A few seconds
passed and suddenly he heard his name called. "Bryan!
Bryan!" Immediately he listened to where it was coming from.
"Bryan!" she shifted his head to the big boulders and found Pril
leaning on the rock, trying to catch her breath. She was waving to him,
smiling. "Oh
God, Pril?" Immediately he swam to where she is. He increased the
speed of his strokes in the water. He broke off his swim upon reaching
shallow waters, running towards Pril, encircling his arms around her,
holding her face, kissing her softly. "Promise me?promise me you
won't do that ever again?" he told her repeatedly. Pril could not
understand what has gone over Bryan. She pressed her body against him,
holding him tight. He panicked, she thought. He panicked as soon as he
didn't see her beside him. She wanted to smile but his strange ways kept
her blank. Could it be that she's getting closer to him? "What
happened?" Kian asks as Mark walks back to the camp. Billie follows
along with Shane and Mitzie. "I
don't know, they were playing when Bryan freaked out because Pril didn't
merged out of the water after." Kian looks at the two who were
already heading back to the camp from the rocks. "Do you know
something about it?" "Bryan
lost his childhood sweetheart in drowning. They didn't found her body. It
caused him great pain, he was left with a terrible loss." "Must
be the reason why he freaked out." Mark said placing his arms across
his chest. "Well
yeah, but that is only a part of it. Pril actually looks like Cate."
