I Am John's Trip To A Wee Scottish Shoppe
 my bio
"My Bonnie"
This was a good summer for me
I travelled where-ever I wanted - when-ever I wanted
there were many highlights to the summer of '03
swimming in the lake with my nieces and nephews
getting lost on the highway in my '59 Ford (Betsy)
being invited to an Orange Walk
enjoying the sights and sounds of Kingson
meeting new friends
but, to tell the truth, one of my best days was
visiting The Wee Tartan Shoppe
"click on any picture to see it enlarged"
Walkers crisps - now there's paradise
some great wan liners and the "William Wallace" Pub, just aroon the corner
The shoppe wusny that big, but big isny always important
at least that's what I've heard some women say
there were many great Scottish trinckets
but more importantly, many wonderful Scottish memories
a large selection of sporrans
do yi ken the sayin
is that your sporran - or are ye happy tae see me?
Irn Brew and a wee Scottish cottage - need I say mare
Scotlands farewel saying,
my pull to my country,
"haste ye back"
It was a great day
no timetable
a wonderful drive to and from
fish and chips for dinner at a wee pub nearby
and when I got home that night
I watched Braveheart
simply wonderful
thanks for taking the time to share one of my days with me

This is the sunrise from my room
I take time every morning
to watch it,
to think about Scotland ...
all my blessings
and the chance of a new day
filled with hope, dreams and love
