It is with regret that I must deactivate the DGR Web site.

Needless to say that this decision did not come easy and required a lot of thought and soul searching.  To help you better appreciate my position, here is a little background information.

On 1 September last, I accepted a position to work with my parish as Pastoral Agent responsible for the co-ordination of all sacramental and liturgical activities.  For several weeks after starting my new duties I struggled to maintain the DGR web site up to date and current.  However, in November it became clear that my occupations at the parish had become overwhelming and that I could no longer continue to dedicate enough time to the DGR web site to meet the goals I had set for it.  I left it "as is" for several weeks while I evaluated my position and to assess users' reaction to the cessation of activities

Since that time I have received many e-mail messages from those of you who cared enough to take the time to write and, since I cannot write back to each of you individually, let me use this space to thank you for all the positive notes you sent.

My apologies to you for ceasing the activities of the DGR web site ... I am truly sorry ... but at this time it is completely impossible for me to continue with pastoral duties on the Web as well as in my parish.

I hope you understand and forgive my inaptitude.
