I am proud to announce that I have nominated by the American Biographical Society as the 2005 Man of the Year. I have also been selected for inclusion in the Madison Who's Who list of Professionals and Executives for 2005-2006.

I have been in private practice since early 1998, specializing in working with chronic pain conditions. I was among the first massage therapists to be Maryland State Board Certified. I became Nationally Certified in 1998 and am a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association.

From November 1998 until August 2000, I was involved with implementing the massage therapy program at an area hospital. I have provided in-patient and out-patient services, pre- and post-surgical care as well as having taken care of hospital staff.

I publish a monthly health newsletter (since 2001).

My lecturing credits include:
-- Greater Baltimore Medical Center - nursing students (Massage as adjuct care for pre and post surgical patients)
-- Good Samaritan Hospital - outpatient rehab staff (Integrating massage into patient care plans)
-- Springfield State Hospital - featured lecturer (Psychophysiological etiology and implications of emotional armoring within the special needs population)
-- 2002 Maryland Arthritis Foundation's Fibromyalgia symposium (closing speaker)
-- numerous support groups
-- and a 2 hour guest appearance on WNST sports radio.

I served as the resident massage therapist from 2000 - 2004 for the Maryland Film Festival.

My wife and I are Arthritus Foundation trained support group facilitators. My wife has served as the facilitator of a Fibromyalgia support group at my office and a co-facilitator of a Fibromyalgia support group at a nearby hospital.

I also have worked as a professional manuscript reviewer for two major publishers of medical manuals and references.

I publish a free monthly health newsletter (Since 2001).
