. "HERIBERT, blinded in 830 but still alive when DHUODA wrote her
manual in the 840s, is considered by Settiapni (_La prehistoire des
Capetiens, p.213-220) as possible father of CUNIGONDE, wife of Bernard,
kign of Italy, thus bring the name "Heribert" into the Carolingian/
Vermandois family.... However, the onomastic argument in favor of this
series of links is tentative at best."
