208. Robert II the Devil Duke of Normandy, 30G Grandfather, M. Born in 0999 in Normandy, France. Robert II the Devil Duke of died in Nice, Bithynia on 22 Jun 1035, he was 36.

Robert contributed to the restoration of Henry King of France to hi s throne, and received from the gratitude of that monarch, the Vexin, as an additional to his patrimonial domains. In the 8th year of his reign, curiosi ty or devotn induced him to undertake a pilgrimage to the Holy Land, where th e fatiges of the journey and the heat of the climate so impaired his consitut ion he died on his way home. Some sources call him Robert I the Magnificent!

Robert II the Devil Duke of first married Herleve\Arlette de Falaise, 30G Grandmother, F, daughter of Fulbert the Tanner de Falaise, M (0978-) & Duxia de Falaise, F. Born in 1003 in Falaise, Normandy. Herleve\Arlette died abt 1050, she was 47.
