This image shows that the lava flows at Tvashtar were the same in C21 as they were in I27.

c21camaxtli_thumb.jpg (2374 bytes) 5 hotspots west of Amirani-Maui

This clear filter image shows four active hotspots.  The best known one is Camaxtli, the volcano just left of center.  Two lava flows reside in the Camaxtli caldera; the eastern one is active (as of I24). The other four hotspots are the caldera WSW of Camaxtli, two calderas SE of Camaxtli, and a volcano NE of Camaxtli.  All but Camaxtli were first discovered in I24.
