AIM Optical Illusion Test: Which direction is the diagonal line pointing to? Is it pointing to the "I", like an arrow? Or is it pointing outward, like a pitchfork with a "devil's tail?" [Copyright © 11-11-2000 by Rodney St.Michael]
Today, most people assume that the word "Amen" is holy, but in reality, it simply means, "well, so be it." In can also mean "Que sera sera!" or "whatever will be, will be." It is a passive reply by people who ignore the statements of the "sira ulo" (Tagalog for insane). The Tagalogs from the Philippines also say "Bahala na" which basically speaks of the same negative uncertainty of "Amen," leaving their destiny up to chance, "fate," or "Bathala" (the former Tagalog god; Tagalogs are mostly Christians today). But should a person say "Bahala na," or should he take command of his life? Clearly, to wander AIMlessly in the turbulent seas of life is unfavorable. And for many schizophrenics who experience a "splitting" of their minds, this is the idea that moves them to sacrifice their lives to find the solutions. Fortunately, historical schizophrenics such as Moses, Socrates, Siddhartha Gautama, Yoshua (Jesus Christ), Saul of Tarsus (St. Paul), and Rene Descartes have already analyzed this problem. And today, one knows that the solution is found through what Westerners call "gnosis" and what Easterners call "enlightenment." Even Swiss Psychiatrist, Carl Jung, recognizes this solution as love for one's self--nurturing and developing the god-like qualities or the seeds of God within one's self.
I developed my own version of this form of psychotherapy from my personal schizophrenic experience. And although it was a turbulent one, in the end, the rewards were very meaningful. The solution gave me the courage to move on with my life and to AIM at the right mark.
The solution from my analysis uses deductive reasoning, assuming the worst possibilities and laying aside the less reasonable scenarios, until the most probable scenario is reached. So first, I asked the question: Is there a God that can help me with my problems? And secondly, I asked: If there is a God, what are His intentions? Is He the helpful type or is He the slave-driver type? Lastly, I concluded that regardless of whether God exists or not, if I live an upright life and walk in an upright manner, then I can help myself evolve into a happier, civilized being, with all the blessings that any "God" could give.
This conclusion was derived from my analysis of the Theory of Evolution and the Creation Theory. I also further analyzed the Creation Theory into what I call the Looking-Glass Theory (Game Theory), the Aquarium-Television Theory, the School Theory, and the Incarceration Theory. Lastly, I further analyzed the Incarceration Theory into the King-Solomon Theory (Divided-Baby Theory), the Hostage Theory (Moth-Cocoon Theory), and the Multiple-Consequence Theory (Encapsulation Theory).
The first major theory is the Theory of Evolution. This theory is basically the result of exasperation with the Church. Europeans experienced the deceit of their Popes and clergymen who longed for power, money and women. So they searched for other avenues that explained man's existence. Of course, some scientists and mathematicians such as Rene Descartes came up with some ideas, but the Church Inquisition was an impediment to new beliefs. And although he invented Analytic Geometry and the Cartesian Coordinate System, some people thought that he was mentally-ill.
Eventually, Charles R. Darwin came up with the theory of evolution (1858), which was the first seriously-considered scientific theory about the gradual origin of life. Today, most scientists base their evolution theories from Darwin and other scientists, including geneticists and molecular biologists. Essentially, the general theory states that all living things--like complex humans--slowly developed by random chance from simple non-living elements, such as hydrogen and helium--the gas that used to fill balloons.
The random-process engine can be compared to leaving a theoretical water-proof computer in a thunder storm. If the computer is hit by lightning, there is an incredibly tiny chance that the computer will turn itself on with the correct voltage. And there is also an unbelievably minute chance that the heavy raindrops will "tap" on the keyboard to produce a long string of computer-program code. Finally, if one believes in "miracles," the raindrops might beat the almost-impossible odds of developing a computer virus program, such as the "Love Bug" virus. Of course, additional bursts of lightning might re-configure the virus software to mutate by itself into electromagnetic waves such as radio waves. Then if by mere random chance, the radio waves happen to be compatible with the computer "brain" or hardware of Sony's Aibo--the cute robot dog--the mutated virus-code in radio-wave form might actually "possess" the little dog and cause it to "bite" or "hit" a human being.
Most people would say that this is impossible, but scientists believe in "miracles." Through scientific concepts such as gradualism, speciation, natural selection and mutation, living things slowly developed from mere hydrogen atoms into high forms of life such as fish, frogs, monkeys and apes. Eventually, of course, the apes "morphed" into modern human beings.
But obviously, this was not an easy "task." For instance, mutants such as albino humans were isolated from their groups because of their white skin. They had to live difficult lives. Fortunately, through the process of sexual selection--a type of natural selection--other types of humans found them attractive. And eventually, their mating rituals formed other types of humans.
Moreover, theoretical psychiatry hypothesizes that possible genetic mutations or viral infections may have caused some early humans to develop certain "conditions" that allowed them to develop "brilliant" ideas. These "conditions" include bi-polar disorder and schizophrenia, which means "split mind." And because these individuals heard invisible "voices" or "saw" unseen "visions," they developed philosophy, religion and "mythology" in their respective areas. Philosophy, of course, eventually branched out into all forms of mathematics and science--including, but not limited to, astronomy, chemistry, biology, physics and political science. Eventually, of course, they established schools and universities, such as the Academy--the first Western university.
Unfortunately, these "bright" individuals faced harsh persecution from other types of humans. Many of them were called "nuts," because of their refusal to eat meat--the traditional "cuisine" of Neanderthals and Cro-magnons. The term "nut" eventually became associated with mental illness, and it was used to describe "evolved" vegetarians like Pythagoras, Socrates, Plato, William Shakespeare, Leonardo da Vinci, and Albert Einstein. For example, "adults" laughed at da Vinci when he said, "I have from an early age abjured the use of meat, and the time will come when men such as I will look on the murder of animals as they now look on the murder of men." And even though Albert Einstein's teacher called him a "lazy dog," and even if most people thought that his Theory of Relativity was a "crazy idea," he still insisted that "nothing will benefit human health and increase the chances for survival of life on earth as much as the evolution to a vegetarian diet."
Of course, food was not the only topic of conversation for these "crazy" individuals. Schizophrenics such as Prince Moses, Joseph the Dreamer, Daniel, Ezekiel, Prince Siddhartha Gautama (The Buddha), Yoshua (Jesus Christ), Saul of Tarsus (St. Paul), Jean D'Arc (St. Joan of Arc) and St. Francis of Assisi, all sacrificed their lives to teach the "way" and the great "I AM." They wanted the human race to evolve to a higher existence. And although many of them, such as Joseph and Yoshua, were persecuted by their family members and other individuals, they still managed to leave a huge mark in the history of human evolution.
Today, of course, there are some people, such as Christian scientists and Jewish mathematicians, who question the accuracy of the theory of evolution. They argue, for instance, that evolution is not possible since the limited amount of spacetime is not enough to accommodate the relatively rapid random-chance events that led to the evolution of living things. For instance, living things have coded instructions, like computer software, in their genes. And if a mathematician calculates the chances for a simple 300-letter genetic code to form correctly by random chance, the odds against coming up with the right code is approximately one in 10^130.
(10^130=10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,
000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,
000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000)
Of course, this calculation is for a 300-letter code. But human genes have approximately 3,100,000,000 letters. And since spacetime was born only 15 billion years ago from the big-bang "orgasm," it is clear that there is not enough time for the entire evolutionary process to take place. Those who point out this weakness in the theory of evolution say that evolutionists are "outta time!"
Furthermore, some scientists point out the fraud of other scientists, who fabricated many of the human evolutionary models. For instance, the Nebraska Man was scientifically built from one tooth, and this was later found to be an extinct pig's tooth. Also, the Piltdown Man was constructed from a modern ape's jawbone. And in the case of the famous Neanderthal skeleton found in France, Dr. A. J. E. Cave examined the evidence and concluded that it belonged to an old man who had arthritis. He revealed this at the International Congress of Zoology in 1958.
However, even if the theory of evolution is incorrect, it cannot entirely be disregarded. It is quite possible that even if humans are created beings, the creators may have evolved. Speaking in terms of theoretical physics, if they dwell in another universe, beyond the black holes--where the laws of physics may be different from man's universe, where spacetime may be different, where common-sense logic does not apply--then it is quite possible that they may have evolved.
As an example of how common-sense logic can deceive people, one can cite the case of Einstein.. When Albert Einstein came of with his Special Theory of Relativity (1905), most people thought that his ideas were crazy. After all, it defied traditional Newtonian common-sense logic. But as time went by, physicists tested his theories via flying atomic clocks, particle accelerators, nuclear power stations, atom bombs, and particles called mesons. And all these proofs confirmed that Einstein is indeed correct.
But since one is normally more interested in the known universe, one must also consider alternative theories. This brings us to the second theory.
Ironically, most people who absolutely insist on the Creation Theory's validity, do not realize that it is not necessarily a positive theory. In reality, the possible sub-theories of Theory 2 may be horrific in nature. Although there is also some comfort in knowing that the final result of this theory may be positive. In any case, the most plausible sub-theories of Theory 2 include the Game Theory or Looking-Glass Theory, the Aquarium-Television Theory, the School Theory and the Incarceration Theory.
The first sub-theory is the Looking-Glass Theory. Basically, this theory implies that humans are mirror-images of their Creators or the gods. In other words, at first glance, the Creator's activities or pastimes are similar to that of humans. For example, since ancient times, people have entertained themselves with chess games, gladiator matches, cage fights, karate championships, cock fighting, war games, competitive Olympic games, and recently in history, man has developed violent computer video-games. One is easily led to think that the gods simply grab their "joysticks," and play around with the world. For instance, god 1 might take the side of China, and gods 2 and 3 might take the sides of Russia, and the U.S.A. And then, they start their game of nuclear war.
But the argument against this theory is its barbaric nature. A civilization cannot survive if it allows such games to exist. It will simply destroy itself. So how could the civilization of the gods manage to survive if it actually allowed such forms of "entertainment" to exist?
Clearly, a civilized society promotes cooperative games or sports such as treasure hiking, for example. In this game, people with different functions or specializations form a team and look for hidden clues or artifacts hidden within a tame forest. They can piece together whatever they find to help them hypothesize and hike together to the location of a hidden flag. There are no competing teams, so when the flag is found, everybody wins.
This illustrates, that the gods may actually be the reverse or the opposite of humans, just as the reflection on a looking-glass or mirror is the reverse of the object in front of it, upon careful observation. If this is the case, then civilized gods will not play around with barbaric humans. And other theories need to be examined.
The next theory is the Aquarium-Television Theory. In this scenario, "the whole world is a stage," as some people say. One can imagine the universe as a giant ocean enclosed in a fish bowl, displayed in the palace of the gods. But unlike the regular aquarium, where fish have their own free will, unless maintained, the activities and paths of God's "fish" in this "Heavenly" fish bowl are pre-determined. In a way, it is also like watching a movie.
The realm of theoretical physics, has "suggested" this theory, in a manner of speaking. British Astronomer Sir Fred Hoyle proposed a philosophy of time that leaves us with no free-will. One's future already exists, together with the present and the past. And man's entire history seems to be recorded already in a "Video Compact-Disc." In this scenario, man's life is pre-determined. And time becomes like a Video CD-Player counter.
However this scenario, again, implies barbarianism. Some people who might have seen Sea World in California, might see the plight of dolphins or killer whales, forced to become "circus entertainers" against their will. And eventually, someone cries out, "Free Willy!"
Most people also know the consequences of viewing violent movies and entertainment mediums with no lessons to give. Naturally, this leads to the destruction of civilization. So how could the civilization of the gods survive if this form of "entertainment" is allowed?
Moreover, proponents of Quantum Theory point out the unpredictable Universe. Experiments on this theory prove that the Universe is ruled by chance. Since particles behave like V-shaped waves and vice-versa--giving it its uncertain nature--one can see that the Universe seems to operate according to casino rules. In other words, the gods seem to be gambling for the human race.
In any case, unless an "aquarium" is used for rehabilitation, first-aid, or nursing, and unless a "movie" gives a strong lesson, then it cannot be considered civilized. This leads us to examine the next theory.
The third creation sub-theory is the School Theory. This scenario implies that man learns from life--the "school of hard knox." However, this theory is a gray area. For example, the class bully may learn from his mistakes later in life. And perhaps he may even become a kind and loving person. But this doesn't happen all the time. So some people infer that people learn continuously by living multiple lives in a cyclic reincarnation process. However, this downgrades the "school" to a torture chamber.
And when one considers all the possible scenarios that humans undergo--including rape, incest, torture, disease and decapitation--one would think that he/she is in the "school of hell." After all, why not learn from a civilized simulation room where the environment is controlled and the ability to abort is under one's control.
Of course, there are other types of "schools," such as prison. When a criminal is locked up in prison for a definite period of time, it is theoretically hoped that the prisoner learns from his/her mistakes. This brings us to the next theory.
The fourth creation sub-theory is the Incarceration Theory. This is the traditional belief, more or less, among different cultures. In this scenario, several fallen angels--the sons/daughters of the gods--are incarcerated in this Universe, bounded by the exterior of the Milky Way galaxy and buffer-protected by galactic clusters and chains. The exits to this "prison" are the invisible black holes. Albert Einstein's equations imply that every black hole has two ends. These ends can momentarily connect one Universe to another via a wormhole. Traditionally, ancient sages call this the "Gates of Heaven." But theoretical physics also accommodates multiple Universes, which classic writers call "The Ten Spheres of Heaven," connected via wormholes.
Several sub-theories also exist for the Incarceration Theory. These include the King-Solomon Theory (Divided-Baby Theory), the Hostage Theory (Moth-Cocoon Theory), and the Multiple-Consequence Theory (Encapsulation Theory).
The first incarceration sub-theory is the King-Solomon or Divided-Baby Theory. The name derives from the story of King Solomon in the Western Bible. One day, as the story goes, two harlots with a baby approach the King. Both women originally had their own babies, but the other harlot's infant died during her sleep. So the mischievous harlot exchanged her dead baby for the living infant of the other women while she slept. They tried to settle their dispute over the living baby through the wisdom of Solomon. And since it was difficult for the king to tell which woman was telling the truth, King Solomon ordered that the baby be divided into two with a sword--half a baby for each woman. But the real mother begged the king not to do it, and she decided to give her infant to the other woman for the sake of her child's life. Of course, the other harlot was indifferent and she did not care if she received a divided baby. And because of this, King Solomon discovered the truth and gave the living infant to its real mother.
The Solomon technique is a psychological method of culprit investigation and determination. And under the King-Solomon Theory, the gods had to judge several fallen angels who accused each other over a set of highly complex crimes. One party would say that "Lucifer" is a devil, but the gods are familiar, of course, with role-reversal techniques. And it is quite possible that Lucifer is the true "angel" and the other party conspired to do devilish deeds on him/her. Clearly, a more complex-type of Solomon's technique had to be devised by the gods. And all the parties involved, including innocent parties caught with circumstantial evidence, were incarcerated.
A simple example of role-reversal is traditionally seen in clergymen. Whether one considers ancient Egyptian priests, or Pharisees, or Catholic clergymen, history clearly shows that they often portray angelic people as "devils." Then, they elevate themselves to angels in spite of their devilish deeds. For example, when the Philippines was a colony of Spain, the French scientist Gentil de la Galaisiere was sent to Mindoro Island to perform astronomical studies. And since he was not familiar with the area, Catholic priests acquainted with Mindoro "assured" him that in the island, "there is a case of men that have little tails, like those of monkeys."
"Several priests have witnessed this and have so assured me," he said. "And not long ago on the Pacific Coast near Baler, a woman was found who had a tail. Of this, I have been assured by the missionaries who saw her...".
Obviously, as the empirical evidence clearly points out, the priests and missionaries are lying. These so-called "men of God" have been known to rape the women and steal the land of the aboriginal inhabitants of the Philippines. And as a convenient way to defraud them, they accuse the natives of having tails like the devil, which is still heard of to this day. And naturally, Priests call themselves "angelic workers."
Ancient Western literature also depicts the role-reversal doctrine fairly well. For example, Empedocles mentions the "Daemon" as an exile from the gods, longing to return back to the true gods in real civilization. But the greatest schizophrenic philosophers--such as Socrates--called the higher self, as the "dAemon" also. Obviously, Socrates was able to recognize that Angels may become demons and demons may become angels. And what may appear as a dual-role portrayal is in reality, a complex way of distinguishing themselves from each other. This clearly resulted from the deception and fraud of the original demons.
In Plato's The Republic, Apology, and Phaedrus, Socrates expounds on the doctrine of the Daemon. He describes his Daemon as an inner voice which "guides" him all throughout his life. In reality, although the audible "voices" may appear demonic, his conscience eventually clarifies his condition. In effect, he is guided by the "Angel of Death," which allows him to hear the "voices" of criminal offenders in his area. And because of this, he learns to judge matters with wisdom, just like King Solomon..
This complex matter of role-reversal is associated with "devilish" figures of speech such as sarcasm, irony, hyperbole and socratic irony. This is evident in the dialogues of Plato--a collection of classic Western literature. And it is basically the style of schizophrenic literature such the Gospels of the Western Bible. For example, in Critias and Timaeus Plato sarcastically describes the "ideal" civilization of Atlantis as a huge island in the Atlantic Ocean that is larger than Libya and Asia combined. And because the Atlantis islanders were so "advanced," their civilization perished. Of course, Libya and Asia cannot fit into the Atlantic. Plato obviously uses hyperbolic sarcasm to show that the "lowly" islanders of the small Pacific islands are more civilized than the cruel Athenian government--the object of Plato's mockery.
Plato also explained the story of Atlantis by mocking the hearsay of Egyptian priests. According to the priests, the "imperialistic" Atlanteans had grandiose expansionist plans which were ended only when they were defeated by the Athenian Army. This is another role-reversal blow to the Athenian government, who killed Plato's teacher--Socrates.
As another example of how an "angel" cloaks herself with the likeness of the "devil," and vice versa, one can study the parable of the Good Samaritan, as told by Yoshua (Jesus) in the Gospels. Samaritans were the enemies of the Jews, and were usually portrayed as "devils." On the other hand, Jewish priests were regarded as "angels." But Yoshua reversed their roles. In his parable, Yoshua portrayed the Samaritan as an "angel" and he depicted the priest as a "devil." Basically, this is Yoshua's usual style, like other schizophrenics.
Likewise, Yoshua is portrayed in the Gospels as conversant with "Satan," while his mother--which he despises in John's Gospel--is shadowed by an "angel." Clearly, this is better understood if one reads the dozens of other "Gnostic" Gospels which the Roman Catholic Church censored in favor of inserting only four Gospels to fool the masses into thinking that these are literal stories.
So in the end, these schizophrenics or "divided personalities" paved the way in explaining the complex scenario of the Divided-Baby Theory or the King Solomon Theory. And "whomsoever believes in them will not perish, but have everlasting life." On the other hand, those who say "Amen" or "well, so be it" like the indifferent harlot will suffer the consequences. However, as anticipated, this type of judgment technique leads to serious repercussions. This brings us to the next theory.
The second incarceration sub-theory is the Hostage Theory or the Moth-Cocoon Theory. Basically, it is a consequence of the King-Solomon Theory, and it answers the question on human suffering. In this scenario, fallen angels hold humans and innocent angels as "hostages." These fallen angels claim that they are innocent since they were created by "evil geniuses" (the gods) who either did not train them properly or who controlled their will for the gods' purposes. Their other excuses include circumstantial differences between other angels, and perhaps even mental illness. But in reality, it is only pride that hampers their confession.
These fallen angels also know that "selected" humans will be replacing them in the end, so they broadcast their "temptations" to everyone, hoping that God's salvation plan for mankind will fail. And since the human race is held hostage, the gods cannot easily interfere with their affairs, because one wrong move by the gods can easily lead to the "death" of the hostages.
Another analogy is the story of the infant moth breaking out of its cocoon. In this tale, a man sees a baby moth having great difficulty in breaking out of its hard shell. And since the man pities the moth, he decides to manually break the moth's cocoon. Unfortunately, he does not realize that the moth needs to strengthen its wings by constantly pushing on its cocoon. So the moth develops weak wings and soon dies quickly. This story clearly demonstrates the need for balance in "aiding" the baby moth. One must formulate the correct balance of interference (dictatorship) and non-interference (democracy) in order for the infant moth to survive and prosper.
It is also important to note that every incidence of divine intervention is another opportunity for the fallen angels to heckle the gods and claim that everyone on earth is simply God's remote-controlled game pieces. For example, the original teachings of schizophrenics such as Yoshua (Jesus), Orpheus, Dionysus and Osiris were cannibalized by "indifferent harlots." These "Amen" followers often portrayed them as either DIS-membered drunks or as sadistic and violent individuals who preoccupied themselves with dead people. In fact, the Romans called schizophrenics "collectively" as "Bacchus," celebrating their deaths with the blood of their "divided" bodies. They are then RE-membered via the satanic ritual called "Holy Communion"--gathering together to drink bloody wine. This "ceremony," also called the bacchanalian orgy, was also blended with riotous and promiscuous acts. Of course, the gods had to be democratic, so they allowed this type of desecration to take place. However, the gods also made sure that the sarcasm in schizophrenic literature is still traceable, even if it cannot be clearly seen by most people.
Furthermore, schizophrenics such as Yoshua were originally portrayed as young, handsome men with no beards, as evidenced in early Roman art. But as a way of mocking them, they were portrayed later in history as "old" bearded men--sometimes appearing like Santa Claus. And because of this, ancient schizophrenics are experiencing difficulty in "poisoning the youth" today.
In the end, as a result of the "hostage" scenario, more consequences will quickly follow. This leads us to the next theory.

Theory I to Theory IX
The third incarceration sub-theory is the Multiple-Consequence Theory or Encapsulation Theory. As the name implies, it "encapsulates" all the other previous theories, with Theory I as the "core." However, the "encapsulation" is shaped like a conical trumpet bell, with level 9 or Theory IX as the wide brim and level 1 or Theory I as the narrow "base." In a way, it resembles a conical bin.
This bin is basically the steps that mankind needs to take in order to save himself from suffering. He starts at Theory I and climbs up the steep walls of hell. Eventually, with sufficient determination, he reaches the wide brim of the conical prison--Theory IX.

MIA Riddle: He is sometimes called Mercury, and he is the older brother of a schizophrenic. Although some people regard him as the god of thieving merchants, he is also considered as a guide for dead souls to the Underworld. Who is he?
In conclusion, when one views all the theories together--like a series of two-dimensional concentric circles, with the core circle being Theory I and the outer ring as Theory II--one can see that both series are on the same level. In a way, it is like emerging from the bin of Theory IX and looking down at the path that one took.
And because of this, one can clearly see that regardless of whether Theory I or Theory II is correct, one already knows what NOT to do. For example, if Theory I is true and man is the product of Darwinian evolution, then Theory II is useful as a figurative aid in guiding man to further evolve into a higher realm. On the other hand, if Theory II is true and mankind is the product of creation, then Theory I is the philosophy of the gods or the Creators. In other words, God wants man to act and think like true civilized gods, regardless of whether or not "God" exists--regardless of whether or not someone mightier is watching. This ensures the safety of Heaven, without the need for "security cameras."
This basic philosophy is the core doctrine of schizophrenics, all throughout history. And it has been repeatedly taught throughout the world by its faithful followers. For example, Valentinus said that "when the human self and the divine 'I' are interconnected they can achieve perfection and eternity." And even Swiss psychiatrist, Dr. Carl Jung, speaks of the union between humans and the "divine" in his work entitled Mysterium Conjunctionis. Jung calls the mysterious "divine connection" as synchronicity--experiencing meaningful life "coincidences." These "coincidences" shape our lives and move us closer to the "Divine." And although Jung was fascinated with "mythology" even during his childhood, his teachings in psychology are world-renowned even to this day.
So in the end, one can now see the conjunction of Theory I and Theory II--the union of science and religion. It is clearly evident now that one should simply live an upright life, as much as humanly possible, since this is the way to alleviate suffering and to promote well-being. Be involved in cooperation--locally and internationally, instead of competition--within the bounds of what is humanly possible, realizing that the world is not perfect. Walk with feminine legs of "democracy" but balance it with the small "dictatorial" pyramids of your feet. And even if your feet gathers dirt while you walk, you can always wash it with humility. Do this continuously, and you will realize that you will evolve from a small "swinging" creature to a modern civilized human being.
