I suppose it's only fair that I tell you all a little something about myself. Well, I'm a separated mom of three beautiful daughters. Sarah is 10 and Sofie & Isabella are 4 year old twins. I'm in the process of waiting to start college, where I will be taking a course to become an addictions counsellor. I'm already an expert, in my opinion, but they say I need the diploma so I guess I have to do what I have to do...HA HA HA.
I've been abusing drugs and alcohol since I was about 13 years old. I never did any experiencing with it...Just jumped right in full speed ahead!
I spent approximately 10-12 of those years as an IV drug user, and then went on to using crack. By the way, I'm 33 now. Alcohol was always there; it was my best friend. Until it became my worst enemy, that is.
There will be another page soon, with my full story. I have good reason for telling my story: to show people that they are not alone. Many of us are alike and have gone through so many of the same types of things. It's very sad.
There is a way out though, and I hope I can help someone see that. Thanx for listening, victoria
