Detailed History
Two Iveco 59-12's, with Mellor bodywork, were transferred to Southern Vectis during November 1996.

Both N261FOR [261] and N262FOR [262] were new to Solent Blue Line in November 1995 and entered service as their numbers [261] and [262] respectively.

In November 1996 both were transferred to Southern Vectis, repainted into Mushroom & Dark Green Livery, and operated as fleet numbers [261] and [262] respectively.

In August 2001 N261FOR [261] and N262FOR [262] were fitted with Day-glow destination blinds by the 17 and 18 August respectively. [per Gavin Rowney]

They were repainted into Oxford Blue & (Yellow, Orange & Red) Stripes livery in:
September 2001: N261FOR [261]
[per Gavin Rowney]
October 2001: N262FOR [262] [per Gavin Rowney]

By 1 March 2005 (and probably on 5 February 2005) N261FOR [261] & N262FOR [262] were withdrawn from service.
