TITLE: Obb E Obb OVERVIEW: The party runs across an Obb implanting spores in a dead humanoid. TRIGGER: The party is passing by (or through) a dark alley. DESCRIPTION: About 20' in front of you you notice a dark bat-like creature over the remains of a man. The creature is setting atop the man and has stuck a small spike into the man's chest. To the right of the body you see another body (possibly female) lying face down. As you stop to take in the gruesome picture the creature stops moving and turns it head toward you. DM NOTES: The obb is implanting spores into the dead man. The woman has already been implanted. Three other obbs are nearby and will take 1d6 rounds to arrive. The obbs live four miles south of town. If the fight turns ugly for the obbs they will attempt to fly home. KEY: If the PCs don't do something about the bodies then the spores will grow and the next time the players are in town there will be more obbs. |
