Lets Get The Party Going!
Independent candidates have done fairly well in Utah. In the 1992 and 1996 elections, Ross Perot did better than in most other states. Therefore starting, organizing, and maintaining the American Reform Party in Utah should be an obtainable task.

Hopefully, we can have some type of organizational meeting in September. We are going to try to recruit students on The University of Utah campus. If anyone is interested in organizing on other campuses (BYU, USU, others) or know of places that we can get members, that would be great! I would also like us to come up with a comprehensive membership and candidate recruiting program.

I am really excited about starting the American Reform Party of Utah, and hope that we can become a model for not only other states, but for the national party.
