As we all know all too well, time in the Marvel Universe is, well... relativistic. Meaning that after over 35 years, with the change of the seasons show in the comics, Christmas specials and Annuals, Spiderman is still in his twenties, Franklin Richards is not 10 yet and just a few years have passed since Captain America was unfrozen.
All of this is for me a bit of a logistic nightmare. I mean... how old is Spiderman? How long have the Richards been married? How much time have been the Legacy Virus killing mutants? All of this questions and far more have been giving me trouble since I began my campaign. Finally I decide to sit down a few hours to try to make some sense of this mess. After some hard work and research and got something which almost made sense. So here it is: my first attempt to build a coherent Marvel Timeline.
(Er... as you can see most of the events show are related to the mutant comics. The problem is that they are the ones I am most familiar with. I just cant remember when was the 4F first travel to the Negative Zone, when the Fourth Host of the Celestials left the Earth of when the Masters of Evil destroyed the Avengers Mansion, but if someone gives me the data I will add those events to my Timeline and be eternally grateful for the help).
Late XIX century: A man later called Logan or "Wolverine" is born somewhere in Canada (most likely Western Canada).
1923: Namor is born in Atlantis.
1926: A man later know as Magneto is born in Eastern Europe (maybe Poland).
1935: Birth of Charles Xavier.
1957: Birth of Reed Richards.
1958: Birth of Ben Grimm.
1960: Birth of Anthony Stark.
1965: Birth of Susan Storm.
1967: Birth of Emma Frost.
1971: Birth of Henry "Hank" McCoy and Ororo Munroe.
1972: Birth of Scott Summers, Warren Worthington, Jean Grey, Brian Braddock.
1973: Birth of Robert Drake, Alex Summers, Peter Parker, John Storm, Lorna Dane, Namorita.
1974: Birth of John Proudstar, Kurt Wagner, Piotr Rasputin, Alison Blaire.
1975: Birth of Rogue
1976: Birth of Sam Guthrie, Danielle Moonstar, James Proudstar
1977: Birth of Richard Ryder
1978: Birth of Doug Ramsey, "Kitty" Pride, Dwaine Taylor.
1979: Birth of Roberto DaCosta, Julio Ritcher.
1980: Birth of Jonothon Starsmore, Rahne Sinclair.
1982: Birth of Paige Guthrie, Everett thomas, Monet St. Croix.
1983: Birth of Angelo Espinosa, Robert Baldwin.
1985: Birth of Jubilation Lee, Rory&Pandora Destine, Elvin Holiday.
1986: Birth of Alex Power.
1987: Birth of Arthur Maddicks, Takasi Matsuya.
1988: Birth of Illyana Rasputin, Julie Power. Richard's Rocket crashes, the Fantastic Four created. The Avengers gather for the first time (most of them have their "origins" earlier this same year).
1989: Birth of Jack Power. Xavier sends his X-men against Magneto. Captain America rescued from ice.
1990: Birth of Nicole&Claudia St. Croix. Reed Richards and Susan Storm marry.
1991: Birth of Franklin Richards, Katie Power, Narya "Snowbird".
1992: The new X-men fight Krakoa.
1993: Kitty Pride "Sprite" joins the X-men. The New Mutants are created.
1994: Rogue joins the X-men. Alpha Flight created.
1995: X-Factor created. Apocalypse reveals himself.
1996: Power Pack created. Mutant Massacre. The X-men "die" in Dallas. excalibur created.
1997: Inferno. X-Force created by Cable. Jubilee and Gambit join X-Men. Shadow King defeated at Muir. Executioner Song, Legacy Virus released.
1998: Phalanx Covenant, Generation-X created. Onslaught, heroes vanish.
1999: Operation: Tolerance Zero. Psi-war. Xavier returns. Heroes return after a year (hehe... I bet than in 5 years they will be saying that the heroes were gone just a couple months). Magneto takes over Genosha.
Of course this timeline wont be valid in a couple years, but for now I think it works. Comments, corrections and additions would be very appreciated.
