Amphibious Nature: Man-Monster has both lungs and gills, allowing him to survive underwater for extensive lengths of time. As Man-Monster, Paul's body is perfectly adapted for existance underwater. He can move through water with the same ease that normal beings can move through air. While underwater, his Endurance and Strength is raised to Amazing (50) and he can swim at Good (10) speeds (4 areas / 60 mph)

Limitations: Paul Sanders transforms into Man-Monster when exposed to heat. Be it a hot tub, shower, or just a very hot day, if his body is engulfed by temperatures over 100 degrees he must make a Yellow Endurance FEAT roll to resist changing into Man-Monster. Once in Man-Monster form, he remains in that form for at least 10 minutes. After that time has past, he has the option of returning to normal or staying in Man-Monster form.

Thankfully, Paul's personality doesn't change when he becomes Man-Monster - though he sometimes has difficulty remembering exactly what just happened. He must make a Psyche FEAT roll to remember who he is and what had just happened. If he fails, he becomes disoriented for 1-10 rounds as he tries to make sense of his situation.

If exposed to a sudden drop in temperature (such as a Cold based attack of atleast Excellent strength), Paul must make a Yellow Endurance FEAT to stay in Man-Monster form.

History: While swimming out to a an Sanders Oil drilling platform (to impress Liz and Dusty - who were writing a story about him.) Paul Sanders was engulfed by a glowing, reddish cloud of "Bacterial Force" that was brought up by the drill. He's rescued by Liz and Dusty, who are shocked as he first transforms into Man-Monster. He faints, and the two reporters manage to drag him back to their hotel room. He returns to normal, and Dusty goes for a doctor while Liz stays to keep an eye on him. That night, Hell-Blazer confronts him and offers him the chance to join him in his attempt to destroy his fathers fortune. He refuses, and Hell-Blazer shoots him with his laser. He transforms into Man-Monster and defeats Hell-Blazer. Hell-Blazer sets the building on fire and Man-Monster rescues Liz from the flames...only to be confronted by hordes of police. That was the end of the only issue of his comic.

Description: Paul Sanders is a generically manly "Hunk" of a fellow. Good looking and muscular, he's an ex-gold medal winning swimmer who tries to stay in shape and impress the ladies. As Man-Monster he's about 7 feet tall and covered with red-gold scales.

Personality: Paul Sanders is a shallow person, driven by hatred of his wealthy father and a need to prove himself his own man. Shallow or not, Paul is a good enough person that he's willing to risk his life to save others...particularly if the others in danger happen to be female.
