History: We have no history or back story about Hell-Blazer at all. All we know is that he hates Paul Sanders Sr and wants to not merely destroy the man, but also ruin him financially. His desires seem to be purely motivated by greed and revenge. Whoever he is, his true identity is known to Paul Sanders Jr ("Man-Monster") which suggests that he's a business rival or employee. Read the quotes below and decide yourself as to who he is and what he wants.
Hell-Blazer (while looking down at a sleeping Paul Sanders Jr) :"So, old friend. I've found you at last -- and this time you won't escape me! You let me down before, but now it will be different! You'll not double-cross Hell-Blazer again!"
Hell-Blazer (drawing his gun and shooting Paul) : "You -- threaten me with the police?! You're a fool, Sanders -- you always have been -- ever since you refused to throw that race in the Olympics! But all that's behind us now! Since you will not side with me -- I can't risk you siding against me! Farewell, Paul Sanders! You die as you lived -- an IDIOT!"
Hell-Blazer (after being knocked through a window by the transformed Man-Monster) : "I don't know what's happened to you -- but somehow, now you're more than a match for me! But just listen for a minute! Whatever it is you've pulled off to make you look that way -- and give you such strength -- it will work to our advantage! Team up withme, and we'll take your old man for everything he's got! What do you say? C'mon, speak up!"
Hell-Blazer (while flying away) : "Okay, don't listen to reason.! Stay a hardcase! But next time we meet -- I'll be ready for you, chum! Don't look so startled! Flying ain't hard with the right equipment! But that's another story, fishface! Maybe I'll tell you about it someday -- before I finish you off! And believe me, I will destroy you -- the next time we tangle!"

Description: A VERY gaudy yellow costume with red flame designs and yellow glider wings around his arms. His face is covered with a yellow and red mask decorated in a kabuki-style, and he carries a laser gun.
Personality: A bit of a ranting nut job, but with clear goals and the ability to see when a situation is hopeless. If more villains had this insight the world would really be screwed. Also, while he seems to be intelligent he also sometimes drops into a common accent, using language like "ain't" and "c'mon".
