DV8 is their name, same as Deviate meaning a troublemaker. Jim Lee liked how that sounded and said that would be a cool name for a team. So he brought them to his vast universe First Appearing in a Gen-13 comic (#6 I'm almost positive). They were the genetics (mutants) that were created for an elite army by an I.O (International Operations) agent named Ivana Bauil (Team Owner). She gathered a group of mutants to handle all of her dirty work for her, but John Lynch (Team 7/ Gen-13 leader) saved a few of the genetics and created Gen-13 with them. Later Ivana sends DV8 out to recapture Gen-13 then losing the fight and letting Gen-13 stay as they are. Then Ivana Hires an old fellow agent of hers (Sideways Bob) who's crazy now and carries a mannequin head and named her Lucille to be her chief security Guard / Body Guard.
Ivana's Team Consisting of Threshold and Bliss, children of the Team 7 member James Calhoon (I forgot his codename), Frostbite- a cold creating hardass attitude black dude and is the team leader now that Threshold is out of commission. Sublime- the busty beat-em-up density manipulator of the group (she's a babe). Evo- a real teen wolf comes to life he can also change into a sea monster. Powerhaus- he an emotional vacuum that siphons other peoples emotions and uses that energy to power himself up, he the mexican alcoholic. Copycat is the skitzophenic telepath that has a few too many friends inside her brain. Freestyle- a newbie to the team she has the probability power and is a cutie too. Well the team motivates to do pretty much whatever Ivana wants them to do, sometimes they wont agree with her but she gets them to go anyway.
