And we have been here ever since watching you grow...make mistakes...and make war on one another!"
As the above quite confirms, the Deiei are a race that evolved long before ours did - yet were created by (and believe in) the same creator being that Jews, Christians and Muslims do. They claim to be responsible for much of the fantastic happenings that the holy books of these religions document, yet they say they act at Gods command. Despite all this, they are very disappointed in our development (due to Lucifer's tampering with our genetic material) and were just about decided to wipe us out and start again when Phoenix destroyed their underground base.
Just what sort of relationship the Deiei has with the supernatural beings who fill this world has yet to be explained. They claim to have created our race, but did they really do so at God's command? And what is the connection between the Deiei Scientist named Lucifer and the supernatural entity called Satan?
The Deiei are technological so far in advance of the Earth that even their more mundane creations are almost technological impossibilities to us. Some of their more fascinating accomplishments are:
Creating the Human race, then monitoring us for several million years to watch our development
Spaceships with efficient Interstellar travel
Easy genetic restructuring of living tissues.
The ability to control the Earth's volcanic activity
The Deiei are vary tall (7 to 8 feet seems average) with vibrantly colored skins and hair (green, purple, blue, pink and yellow seem to be common) and very sharp, harsh features. They are not without feelings and emotions, but they find it difficult to empathize with "lesser beings" like us. Even when they do, it's done in much the same way a human empathizes with a pet.
Equipment: The Deiei are masters of Battlesuit and Energy Control technology. Even the average Deiei warrior seems to wear a skin tight battlesuit that provides them with these powers...
